Abstract

The Bantul Tofu Industry is a medium-sized industry that processes soybeans into tofu located in the Bantul area. In the production process there are still errors that cause the tofu product to be damaged. The aim of this research is identify risks that occur in tofu production, analyze priority risk events, and make recommendations for improvements. The method used is FMEA to analyze the occurrence of risks or failures in a process and RPN to provide a risk assessment score for proposed improvements. Based on the research results, it was found that there were 14 total risk events and there were 5 risks that were mitigation priorities, such as spilling of tofu coconut milk, mixing of soybean quality, incorrect cutting of tofu, slippery production floors, and the presence of liquid waste. Recommendations for improvement are creating SOP, using adequate equipment, maintaining the cleanliness of production areas and routine maintenance. Abstract

All businesses must aim to sustain consistent success in the current industry. Increasing productivity is one approach to boost the performance of the industry. Productivity describes the efficiency and effectiveness of the company. Tofu is the main food of the Batam people, but the company's production target does not meet expectations. From August to October 2024, production output will be 1,200,000 pcs, 1,140,000 pcs, and 1,110,000 pcs, respectively, while the company's target is 1,400,000/month. This research aims to find out how productive tofu companies are in Batam City. The method used is Objective Matrix (OMAX). This method is carried out by calculating the productivity criteria ratio, determining the initial standard value and achievement target, determining the value in the body of the matrix, and calculating the productivity index. Then, the criteria were determined using 6 productivity ratios. The data was collected on the tofu machine production floor for three months, from August to October 2024. The data collection and processing results show that the total productivity index of Batam City tofu XYZ companies was at its highest point in August with an index value of 375, while in October, it was at its lowest point with an index value of 310. This shows a linear decrease in productivity. Then, the recommended solution is choosing a good supplier, regular machine maintenance, and establishing good SOPs

Abstract

There are several problems that arise in the process of community service, especially related to a lack of knowledge about business fields and effective marketing strategies. Knowledge about innovation and sales knowledge are the basic foundations for carrying out entrepreneurial activities, if not carried out well entrepreneurial activities will not be as expected. In this service, the implementing team provides education regarding entrepreneurial activities. The method used is participatory in activities such as group discussions, interviews, consultations and determining action decisions. The implementation of this activity involves the participation of several communities in the Batu Aji, Batam region. The implementation of this activity includes several stages, which are planning, implementation of activities and evaluation. In community service activities, this training has had a positive impact on the people, where many people try to run businesses from home using the available resources around them. In addition, the application of social networks in marketing activities becomes even more effective in creating sustainable revenue sources and expanding markets.

Abstract

This study talks about the investigation of Coupling item quality control at PT PIPA MAS PUTIH BATAM is an OCTG creation organization as one of the coupling items result of PT. PMP. The organization upholds pipeline needs for oil and gas organizations. Since the nature of the item is a vital model involved by clients in deciding the item to be utilized. This study plans to figure out what causes absconds during the coupling creation interaction and what are the elements that cause these deformities. Examination of creation information handling and imperfection item information is done utilizing the Disappointment mode impact investigation (FMEA) and shortcoming tree investigation (FTA) strategies which are needs for development, to be specific in the coupling item process. A few issues have surrenders in OCTG items (particularly Coupling) in the 2022-2023 period. The consequences of the investigation of the quantity of imperfection items surpass the organization's foreordained guidelines for a most extreme deformity of 2% each year. It is common knowledge that environmental, mechanical, and human factors all contribute to disability. Proposed upgrades are the foundation of occasional machine upkeep plans, endeavors to refresh new machines and slicing apparatuses to increment great outcomes, and increment the quantity of workers in significant pieces of the cycle. Abstract

CV Altruist Batam is an agency engaged in the manufacture of wooden pallets that are in high demand from customers with various size variations such as wooden pallet products with a size of 120 cm x 80 cm. CV Altruist Batam should use aggregate forecasting and planning to plan the amount of production that will occur in the future according to production capacity so that this study aims to identify the best forecasting techniques and the best overall strategy that can be used in forecasting and production planning for wooden pallet products measuring 120 cm x 80 cm using the Single Moving Average and Single Exponential Smoothing methods. While for aggregate planning, the strategies used include Chase Strategy, Level Strategy and Mixed Strategy, then the most efficient strategy is selected to minimize production costs. The results of the study showed that the best forecasting method is the Single Moving Average method with the values obtained MAD = 94.36, MSE = 4.971% and for the aggregate strategy chosen is Level Strategy and Chase with the smallest production cost of Rp 3,092,670,000.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produksi transistor di PT Sammyung Precision Batam melalui penerapan pendekatan Six Sigma dengan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control).

Abstract

Quality control is important to maintain the company's position in the eyes of consumers. PT XYZI is a company that produces electronic devices, one of the products has a defect rate that exceeds the company's target, the company's target for defective products is 2% and it is known that the highest defect percentage is 6.28% during the period April 2024 to March 2025. This study aims to as to provide improvement solutions. The research method used is Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to determine the severity rating, Occurance, detection and RPN calculation. The next stage uses Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify the root cause of the defect from the highest RPN value. Based on the results of the study, the failure mode from the calculation of the highest RPN value of 378 is the tombstone defect, the RPN value of 315 is the no wetting defect. The improvement solution for tombstone defects is special training for technicians to make machine adjustments. The improvement solution for the no wetting defect is an increase in operator accuracy in checking the pcb after printing.

Abstract

This study was conducted at PT. XYZ Batam to analyze defects in the aluminum wire bonding process using the Orthodyne 7200 machine. The objective is to identify the most frequent defects, determine their root causes, and provide improvement recommendations. The methodology applied includes Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to calculate the Risk Priority Number (RPN), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to trace the root causes. The results indicate that defects such as Lifted Bond on Die and Non-Stick Wedge on Lead have the highest RPN scores. The main contributing factors are suboptimal machine parameters, including bonding pressure, temperature, and ultrasonic frequency. Recommended improvements focus on better parameter control and enhanced operator training. This study is expected to support the company’s goal of achieving through more effective process control.
