Abstract

Dampak lingkungan akibat aplikasi teknologi industri terhadap persediaan minyak bumidan batu bara di muka bumi ini adalah cadangan stoknya semakin menipis. Sehingga harga produk yang dihasilkan dengan bahan baku minyak bumi dan batu bara semakin melambungtinggi. Karena itu perlu perancangan produk dengan sumber energi tambahan yang ekonomisuntuk mengurangi harga listrik yang semakin melonjak. Energi listrik dapat diperoleh dengan menggunakan medan magnet, salah satunya dalam aplikasi yang lama mesin ini disebut generator. Tujuan perancangan produk ini dengan menggunakan magnet permanen adalah mengubah gerakan medan magnet menjadi energi listrik. Perancangan produk baru ini dapat menjadi sumber energi listrik alternatif yang ditawarkan sebagai pengganti minyak bumi dan batu bara adalah memanfaatkan medan magnet permanen. Dengan menggunakan sumber gerakan dari medan magnet permanen untuk menghasilkan energi listrik diharapkan hasil perancangan ini dapat digunakan oleh rumah tangga di pulau-pulau terpencil di Kepulauan Riau yang belum terjangkau atau bahkan daerah yang terisolir. Alat ini memiliki skema pengembangan dari arus direct current (DC) 12 V sehingga dapat menghasilkan output 220 V alternative current (AC) dengan daya 500 watt melalui rangkaian magnet permanen. Sehingga dari perancangan produk ini muncul sumber energi listrik alternative terbarukan dan ramah lingkungan

Abstract

Painting activity is a production process that determines the quality of the company's products. This painting process is an application in liquid form, to create a layer for later, a hard layer or cat layer. Product defects from painting activities that are still found by the availability of paint on the product, it is a challenge to provide the company the best solution. Another problem is the number of cats used by the production department in the painting process. Supply chain issues in inventory inventory of painting materials, sometimes stocks and stocks runs out. This study will discuss and analyze the factors that find the number of cats in the painting Truck Body 777 performs Cuase and Effect analysis (fishbone diagram) and uses Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the cat's glory factor. Data is taken from production data for one year and four months. Result of research result from every factor of production, cause of product defect in percentage, that is human being equal to 65%, method equal to 62%, machine equal to 48%, material equal to 75%, and environment 50%, and also highest dominant factor difference the amount of paint used in the 777 Truck Body process is a material factor

Abstract

Product inventory in pharmacies is one of problem in controlling drug supplies. How to provide an efficientproduct, need the right calculation with the right method. EOQ method shows that there are savings oninventory cost. It is expected in this study was to determine a forecast that the drugs inventory_ control. Theapproach used in this study is quantitative descriptive. Source of data in this research using primery data sourcesobtained directly from the company. Data collection data using documentation and interviews. Data analysis used inthis research using Economic Order Quantity. The forcasting results for ordering efficient drugs in 2019 are: first,Amlodipine 5 mg 10.153 boxes are needed and at a cost of Rp. 12,843,264.00. Second, Simvastatin 20 mg 25.288 boxesare need at the cost of Rp. 30,44,245.00.

Abstract

Improving company productivity and efficiency in empowering human resource assessment is fulfilled to achieve company goals. one factor that can be done is the development of more effective equipment. Plastic cutting tools in the product packaging process are still simple, less efficient and less effective. The value engineering method is used as a method for selecting an alternative modification to a modified cutting tool and analyze it. At the analysis stage, two alternative modifications were modified from the improvement engine, where the initial design is used as a benchmark in performance evaluation. The result of tool design is the reduction in the number of defective products by 20.68% to 3.1% and The result of the cutting tool design is that there is an average increase in production 246 products per day.

Abstract

Salah satu penyebab kejadian bencana alam seperti banjir akibat dari penanganan pengelolaan sampah yang tidak optimal. Kepedulian masyarakat perlu dibina dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan tata kelola sampah. Salah satu permasalahan yang ada di daerah pemukiman adalah berkaitan dengan tata kelola pengelolaan sampah. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan di Batu Aji, Batam, budaya tata kelola pengelolaan sampah masih belum optimal. Salah satunya adalah kurang adanya pemanfaatan lingkungan berdaya saing dengan cara memanfaatkan pengelolaan sampah menggunakan metode 3R. Metode 3R merupakan bentuk kegiatan yang produktif seperti melakukan kegiatan mengurangi sampah (reduce), menggunakan kembali sampah (reuse) dan mendaur ulang sampah menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomi/ komersial (recycle). Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan pembinaan pengelolaan sampah yang sedang berjalan menggunakan metode 3 R (Reduce, Reuse, dan Rcycle) di Kelurahan Kibing dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman masyarakat sekitar semakin meningkat setelah diberikan pemaparan materi oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat. Masyarakat cukup antusias untuk melakukan pengelolaan sampah yang lebih baik lagi dan dapat menghasilkan nilai tambah bagi masyarakat sekitar. Kesimpulan lain didapatkan bahwa perlu dilakukan penyuluhan lanjutan misalnya kepada sasaran lain seperti anak-anak agar membiasakan diri pada pemilahan sampah yang baik dan benar dan penyuluhan lanjutan kepada ibu-ibu terkait pemanfaatan nilai ekonomi pengelolaan sampah.

Abstract

Kebijakan Pemerintah Pusat dan Daerah untuk mendukung pendidikan di Indonesia diimplementasikan dalam berbagai bentuk. Salah satu dukungan tersebut dikenal dengan BOS (Dana Operasional Sekolah) sudah dilakukan sejak tahun 2007. Ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan akses pembangunan pendidikan dalam rangka mensukseskan wajib belajar 9 tahun. Sumber dana BOS berasal dari Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah (APBD) dan setiap tahun semakin meningkat. Tentu saja, Pemerintah memberikan banyak bantuan dana melalui Pemerintah Daerah dengan harapan melalui dana yang diberikan ke sekolah dapat digunakan untuk membeli barang-barang kebutuhan sekolah maupun melengkapi fasilitas sekolah agar operasional sekolah dapat berjalan dengan lebih baik. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional yang tertuang dalam UU No. 20 Tahun 2003 pasal 3. Adapun tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah: Untuk memperoleh gambaran fasilitas kerja, untuk memperoleh gambaran kinerja pegawai dan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh fasilitas kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Sekolah SMA Negeri 8 Batam. Di dalam penelitian ini, fasilitas kerja adalah sebagai variabel independen (X) dan kinerja pegawai sebagai variabel dependen (Y). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan inferensial dengan unit analisis para pegawai di Sekolah SMA Negeri 8 Bengkong Batam sebanyak 58 orang. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi linier sederhana. Temuan penelitian ini adalah bahwa fasilitas kerja yang tersedia sudah baik, kinerja pegawai sudah baik, dan terdapat pengaruh signifikan yang berarti antara fasilitas kerja dengan kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Inventory is one of the fundamental aspects of the company, not only the production process but also related departments need inventory. If the material inventory is too little, the production process is disrupted which in the end the delivery schedule is also disrupted, whereas if the material inventory is too much, the material storage costs incurred by the company will increase. The purpose of this research is to maximize material inventory and determine the right time for reordering raw materials. The methods used are EOQ, ROP, and ITO. Data collection was carried out quantitatively in food canning companies to determine economic orders. Based on the calculation results, the level of economical purchase of raw materials using the EOQ method approach is 54.64 kg per order and the recommended number of reorders is 45 kg per order with a safety stock level of 10.16 kg/day.

Abstract

Real Batam Information Vocational School is one of the schools that has reliable competencies. However, in the educational process, not only knowledge is prioritized, but also related skills and noble character also need to be applied. The aim of implementing this service is to produce a generation, especially students at the Batam Real Information Vocational School, who are not only smart in education, but have a leadership spirit and virtuous character. The expected characteristics include courage, honesty, respect for others and discipline. In this service, the PKM team conducted training for class X students at Real Batam Informatics Vocational School. The form of training is in the form of discussions and sharing regarding how to form a good leadership spirit. Based on the results that have been achieved, after participating in the training held by the PKM team, students are more courageous and confident in their abilities and strengths. Therefore, it is hoped that this training will allow students at these institutions to be able to understand and apply it in their daily lives so that they become young people who are not only intellectually intelligent but also mature in terms of character and leadership in society.

Abstract

The Bantul Tofu Industry is a medium-sized industry that processes soybeans into tofu located in the Bantul area. In the production process there are still errors that cause the tofu product to be damaged. The aim of this research is identify risks that occur in tofu production, analyze priority risk events, and make recommendations for improvements. The method used is FMEA to analyze the occurrence of risks or failures in a process and RPN to provide a risk assessment score for proposed improvements. Based on the research results, it was found that there were 14 total risk events and there were 5 risks that were mitigation priorities, such as spilling of tofu coconut milk, mixing of soybean quality, incorrect cutting of tofu, slippery production floors, and the presence of liquid waste. Recommendations for improvement are creating SOP, using adequate equipment, maintaining the cleanliness of production areas and routine maintenance. Abstract

The high demand for manufactured products has grown rapidly, therefore, to be able to meet the demand for manufactured products, producers must think of ways to always be innovative so that quality products can be produced quickly. Design is an activity of defining things that are done using a variety of technical knowledge. PT XYZ, where in the lighting department the tinning process is carried out on the bobbin pin material for trigger coil products. The tinning process was carried out manually without tools. Problems occurred when the pin tinning process was carried out manually one by one by the operator with an average time of 7.82 seconds/piece, making the production target not achieved due to an increase in demand. By using the Design For Manufacturing and Assembly method for jig design. Based on DFMA analysis, the fabrication cost was IDR 537,580 and the fabrication time was 3.56 hours. The successful implementation of the jig reduced the tinning process per day, because the tinning process using the jig could be done directly in 10 pieces, previously 2,240 processes became 1,129 processes per day. In terms of output, the shift also increased, previously from 2,240 pieces to 11,290 pieces.
