Abstract

ABSTRACTEnglish grammar is an interesting object to be discussed by all learners specifically for English as Foreign Language (EFL) learners in the digital age. It is because there are efforts to understand the correct grammar in each sentence by utilizing the gadget. Thus, this study aimed to find out Ms. Noning’s grammar explanation of several artists in Indonesia through her TikTok account (English with Ms. Noning). The data are taken from the TikTok videos on Ms. Noning’s TikTok account over the last six months of her grammar explanation and review (from December 2022 to February 2023) which focused on her grammar explanation of several artists in Indonesia. The study revealed that ten Indonesian artists have reviewed her with several tenses or grammar from present to future. Analyzing the videos and comments shows a good connection between Ms. Noning and the viewer (digital learner). This study is good and beneficial to enrich grammar understanding by utilizing technology. Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama is a huge Muslim community in Indonesia that follows four religious resources that are Al-Qur’an, al-Sunnah, Ijma’ and Qiyas. On Fiqh following four Madhab (school of thought) such Imam Hanafi, Maliki, Syafi’i and Hambali. This ideology was found in minority areas and research related to the topic was limited. This study aimed to illustrate how Nahdlatul Ulama’s Fiqh Ibadah civilization has grown in minority areas. This qualitative narrative research study used observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to collect primary data from five villagers of Tengger ethnics. The result shows that Tengger’s Muslims is a first learner (awam), it’s easier to implement amaliyah nahdliyah (Fiqh Ibadah) in their daily life, have a good relation to other religions (Hindu and Budha), have a cultural understanding, and live in harmony as one ethnic. Kata Kunci: Religious Harmony, Humanity, Spirituality, Tengger.

Abstract

Smart Society 5.0 Era is a new thing that contains good and bad impacts. The focus of this Era is to promote human resources. This research aims to analyze and roll out the urgency of science in the Smart Society 5.0 Era. This qualitative literature study was used to collect data and analyze the urgency of science by Al-Qur’an and Hadith. This research finds out that even all the chapters of the Al-Qur’an contain any educational meaning, but the researcher focuses on: 1) Surah al-Baqarah: 31; 2) Surah al Mujadalah:11; 3) Hadith narrated by al-Bukhari; 4) Hadith narrated by Ibn Majah. The conclusion is: 1) Smart Society 5.0 Era as the urgency of al-’ilm implication; 2) As Muslims must be well prepared and able to face any challenges and look for opportunities in this era; 3) A lot of silver linings in Al-Qur’an and Hadith as motivation to face this era. 4) Exploring talent to find out the urgency of science and reach glory through science. Kata Kunci: Al-’Ilm, Al-Qur’an, Hadith, Smart Society 5.0.
