Abstract

Sanbe Farma Unit III generates waste from its activities. Garbage that continues to accumulate can cause negative impacts on health and the environment. Negative impacts on health can result in diarrhea, vomiting, dengue fever, and also typus.More organic waste management is needed, so it is necessary to make an effort to reduce and manage the timbulan sampah. One of the many attempts is the production of organic waste composting. The research was conducted to understand the difference between variations of local microorganisms (MOL) of cassava tape on the C/N compost ratio by aerob's method of producing organic compost in PT. Sanbe Farma Unit III. MOL variation of cassava tape is use 10ml, 20ml, and 30 ml with 6-time loop for every variation. This type of research is experimental in post test only with control design. The sample used in this research was a park trash taken from PT. Sanbe Farma Unit III. The composting process time is 18 days. The results of the statistic test using one-way Anova test showing p-value 0,021 ≤ 0,05 then Ho is denied, the meaning is there is a C/N difference of meaningful ratio of each treatment. The most effective cassava tape MOL is 30-ml variety based on the physical quality of dark brown and stinks of dirt-compost, with the highest shrinkage of litter at 35.8%, the C/N ratio was 15.57 which met standards according to the 2004 19-7030 SNI on the compost specs of domestic organic garbage. It is recommended to make further observations about the combination of adding organic waste.

Abstract

PT. X merupakan industri biskuit yang menyediakan kantin dengan kondisi yang tidak memenuhi syarat. Survei awal kepadatan lalat sebanyak 18 ekor. Berdasarkan Permenkes Nomor 2 Tahun 2023 standar baku mutu kepadatan lalat harus <2. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh variasi konsentrasi ekstrak daun cengkeh terhadap kepadatan lalat di tempat pengolahan makanan PT. X. Jenis penelitian ini eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pre test post test without control. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua jenis lalat yang ada di lingkungan pengolahan makanan dan Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian rata-rata penurunan kepadatan lalat karena adanya ekstrak daun cengkeh dengan konsentrasi 25% sebanyak 7 ekor, konsentrasi 30% sebanyak 5 ekor, dan konsentrasi 35% sebanyak 1 ekor. Hasil Uji one way anova menunjukan bahwa nilai p = 0,000 (<0,05) artinya terdapat perbedaan antara variasi konsentrasi ekstrak daun cengkeh  terhadap kepadatan lalat. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya dapat menggunakan alat dengan skala yang lebih besar menyesuaikan kebutuhan industri.   Abstract: PT. X is a biscuit industry that provides canteens with conditions that do not meet the requirements. The initial fly density survey was 18 individuals. Based on Minister of Health Regulation Number 2 of 2023, the quality standard for fly density must be <2. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of variations in the concentration of clove leaf extract on the density of flies in the food processing plant of PT. X. This type of research is experimental with a research design pre test post test without control. The population in this study was all types flies in food processing environments and sampling techniques is Purposive sampling. The research results mean a decrease in density flies due to the presence of clove leaf extract with a concentration of 25% as many as 7 tails, 30% concentration for 5 birds, and 35% concentration for 1 tail. Test results one way anova shows that the p value = 0.000 (<0.05) This means that there are differences between variations in leaf extract concentration cloves against fly density. Suggestions for further researchers can be given using tools on a larger scale to suit industrial needs.

Abstract

Timbulan sampah organik menjadi permasalahan di lingkungan PT X. Sampah organik di PT X belum dilakukan pengolahan lebih lanjut. Salah satu teknologi dalam mengatasi sampah organik yaitu dengan pengomposan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui timbulan sampah organik di PT X sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pengomposan, mengetahui pengaruh variasi kecepatan pengadukan dalam pengomposan, dan mengetahui efektivitas variasi kecepatan pengadukan dalam pengomposan. Variasi kecepatan pengadukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 643, 1001, dan 1542 rpm. Jenis penelitian ini True Experimental dengan desain penelitian Posttest-Only with Control. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan timbulan sampah organik kering dan sampel adalah sebagian dari populasi timbulan sampah organik kering di PT X. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai C/N rasio kompos pada seluruh sampel pengulangan dan perlakukan memenuhi syarat mutu pupuk organik padat sesuai SNI 7763:2018, dimana kompos dengan kecepatan putaran 1001 rpm merupakan kecepatan pengadukan yang menghasilkan kompos dengan nilai C/N rasio tertinggi yaitu 23,73. Uji statistik One-Way Anova menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh variasi kecepatan pengadukan dalam pengomposan sampah organik terhadap kualitas kompos dimana P value (0,000) ≤ α (0,05). Penelitian selanjutnya dapat melakukan pengukuran terpisah antara timbulan sampah yang dihasilkan dari Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) dan kegiatan domestik sehingga memudahkan dalam merumuskan permasalahan yang diselesaikan.   Abstract: Organic waste accumulation has become an environmental issue at PT X. PT X has not implemented further processing for organic waste. Composting is one of the technologies to address organic waste accumulation. The objectives of this research are to assess the accumulation of organic waste at PT X before and after composting, to evaluate the effects of stirring speed variations during composting, and to determine the effectiveness of those variations. The stirring speed variations in this research are 643, 1001, and 1542 rpm. This research is a True Experimental design with a Posttest-Only with Control. The research population consists all of the dry organic waste, with a sample taken from a portion of the dry organic waste at PT X. The results show that the C/N ratio of compost across all samples and treatments meets the quality standards for solid organic fertilizers of SNI 7763:2018, with the 1001 rpm stirring speed producing the highest C/N ratio of 23.73. One-Way ANOVA statistical analysis indicates that stirring speed variations  significantly affect compost quality, with a P value (0.000) ≤ α (0.05). Future research could separately measure organic waste generated from Green Open Space (RTH) and domestic activities to better determining the issues.
