Abstract

This study aimed to deterMine the effect of local wisdom-based syllable puzzle  media on students’ beginning reading ability and reading interest in grade III at MIN 3 Kota Mataram. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 37 students in the experimental class and 36 students in the control class. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, normality testing using the Shapiro-Wilk test, and hypothesis testing using the Mann-Whitney U test with the assistance of JASP version 0.19.3.0. The results showed that the experimental class experienced a higher increase in beginning reading ability compared to the control class. The Mean score of the experimental class increased from 57.568 to 82.568, while the control class increased from 57.500 to 67.500. In addition, students’ reading interest in the experimental class was higher, with a Mean score of 87.46 compared to 62.97 in the control class. Hypothesis testing showed a significance value of p < 0.001, indicating that local wisdom-based syllable puzzle  media had a significant effect on students’ beginning reading ability and reading interest.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills using the Project Basead Learning Model in social science learning in elementary schools. The project-based learning model directs students to complete it directly and places responsibility on students during the learning process by generating critical ideas. It is studied using classroom action research with two cycles, each consisting of two meetings with four stages. Continuous, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collected includes teacher activities, student activities, and data that can provide conclusions about critical thinking skills. The research results show that project-based learning can improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in elementary schools; this is proven by calculating the first cycle classical completeness score of 69%. Moreover, there was an increase of 27.59% to 97%. This success was supported by changes and improvements to the learning process following the reflection results in the previous cycle.

Abstract

This study utilizes a systematic literature review to (1) identify research subjects, (2) research subthemes, (c) research methodologies, and (d) research results in Indonesian primary schools. The PRISMA methodology was used to examine numerous literatures with similar topics in this study. The SINTA database is used for the article search. The PRISMA paradigm is implemented in four stages: identification, selection, classification, and inclusion. 37 papers were analyzed from these stages to get ready an overview of the findings. The study's findings show that the three primary themes that have emerged as the focus of inclusive research in Indonesia are the implementation of inclusive education, inclusive education policy, and the teaching and learning process in inclusive education. In general, the analysis of the literature shows that the implementation of inclusive education is proceeding as expected, with public schools beginning to accept the presence of children with disabilities in one moment of learning, with no discrimination against them by the teacher or the students themselves. However, the implementation of inclusive education is hampered by a shortage of competent human resources in dealing with children with special needs, therefore, instructors must be able to seek assistance and increase competency to enable better learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perhatian peneliti terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa yang masih cukup rendah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui penerapan media pembelajaran video interaktif berbasis Quizizz pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV SDN 1 Puyung tahun pelajaran 2025/2026. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yang dimulai dari tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi, dan diakhiri dengan tahap refleksi. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Puyung yang berjumlah 25 siswa, terdiri dari 12 laki-laki dan 13 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah wawancara, observasi, dan tes lisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media video interaktif berbasis Quizizz dapat membantu meningkatkan keterampilan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV SDN 1 Puyung tahun pelajaran 2025/2026. Pada siklus I diperoleh hasil evaluasi keterampilan berbicara sebesar 63,63%, aktivitas guru sebesar 65,85% yang masuk dalam kategori cukup, serta aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 49,99% yang masuk dalam kategori cukup aktif. Kemudian, pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yang cukup signifikan, di mana hasil evaluasi keterampilan berbicara siswa meningkat dan memperoleh skor sebesar 87,5%. Nilai ini sudah melebihi batas ketuntasan yang diharapkan oleh peneliti. Untuk aktivitas guru diperoleh hasil sebesar 88,33% yang masuk dalam kategori baik, dan untuk aktivitas siswa diperoleh hasil sebesar 76,66% yang masuk dalam kategori aktif.
