Abstract

Abstrak Sekolah Dasar dipilih untuk menanamkan literasi siswa sejak usia dini karena diharapkan siswa memperoleh kebiasaan berliterasi sebagai bekal untuk menghadapi masa yang akan datang. Banyak kebijakan literasi yang diterapkan di sekolah dasar oleh pemerintah. Mengingat literasi sangat penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, perlu adanya tindakan dalam mengatasi masalah ini. Menurut Direktorat Sekolah Dasar, literasisiswa di Indonesia masih sangat rendah dibandingkan dengan negara lain di dunia. Ada beberapa sekolah, termasuk SDN 166 Tangru, di mana pengembangan literasi masih belum optimal.Oleh karena itu, salah satu langkah awal yang dilakukan adalah dengan program Peningkatan Literasi Siswa Melalui Program Membaca Bersama di Perpustakaan SDN 166 Tangruyang menyediakan buku bacaan sesuai dengan tingkat siswa dan didampingi oleh guru untuk memastikan kegiatan membaca rutin bersama siswa berjalan dengan baik. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui tahapan yang dimulai dari perencanaan awal untuk melihat situasi dan kondisi bagaimana  kemampuan  literasi siswa. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kesiapan dalam melakukan pengabdian dengan melakukan membaca bersama di perpustakaan dalam  meningkatkan literasi siswa di SD 166 Tangru dengan total 49 SiswaTahapan pelaksanaan selanjutnya yaitu tim pengabdi melakukan pembimbingan terhadap siswa yang masih belum mahir membaca mulai dari kegiatan membaca 15 menit sebelum jam pelajaran dan penataan serta pembenahan perpustakaan dan pojok baca di SDN 166 Tangru. Semoga dengan adanya kegiatan ini siswa dapat memiliki perubahan yang signifikan yg awalnya belum bisa mengeja mulai bisa mengeja, begitupun dengan siswa yg belum mahir membaca perlahan mereka mulai bisa meskipun belum sepenuhnya bisa membaca tapi sedikit mengalami perubahan. Kata kunci: literasi; perpustakaan. Abstract Elementary schools were chosen to instill literacy in students from an early age because it is hoped that students will acquire literacy habits as preparations for facing the future. Many literacy policies are implemented in elementary schools by the government. Considering that literacy is very important in everyday life, action is needed to overcome this problem. According to the Directorate of Primary Schools, student literacy in Indonesia is still very low compared to other countries in the world. There are several schools, including SDN 166 Tangru, where literacy development is still not optimal. Therefore, one of the first steps taken was the program to Increase Student Literacy through the Shared Reading Program at the SDN 166 Tangru Library which provides reading books according to the student's level and is accompanied by a teacher to ensure that routine reading activities with students run well. This activity is carried out through stages starting from initial planning to see the situation and conditions of students' literacy abilities. This activity was carried out to analyze readiness to carry out service by reading together in the library in increasing student literacy at SD 166 Tangru with a total of 49 students. The next stage of implementation is that the service team provides guidance to students who are still not proficient in reading starting from reading activities 15 minutes before time. lessons and arrangement and improvement of the library and reading corner at SDN 166 Tangru. Hopefully, with this activity, students can make significant changes, from initially not being able to spell to being able to spell, as well as students who are not yet proficient at reading, they are slowly starting to be able to, even though they are not yet fully able to read, but are experiencing slight changes. Keywords: literacy; library

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of literacy learning numeracy on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IV students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Antang I Makassar. This study used quantitative research with the type of pre-experimental research in one group pretest-posttest. The sample used was class IVB students as many as 31 students consisting of 9 men and 22 female. Technique sampling used purposive sampling technique. Instrument research used was the observation sheet, test results and learning documentation. Data were analysed using descriptive statistical analysis and analysis inferential statistics with the help of SPSS 20 computer program. Research results shows that the teacher’s ability to apply literacy learning numeration got an average value of 2.8 which means done well. As for the learning outcomes of class IVB students were described from the results of the prerequisite test consisting of normality test results of 0.183, homogeneity test results of 0.698 and T-test results of 0.000. It can be concluded that there is an influence numeracy literacy learning on students’ mathematics learning outcomes of class IV students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Antang I Makassar.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the effect of Multi Leaf Collimator (MLC) on the dose received by the head of brain cancer patients at Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar. This analysis aims to determine the effect of using MLC on dosing to brain cancer patients using Cobalt 60 (Co-60) teletheraphy. The dose given at TPS was 200 cGy but after using MLC the dose was received because MLC protects healthy organs around the irradiation field. If the dose given is still within the range of -5  % and +7  %, it is still acceptable. The amount of radiation dose that can be reduced by using MLC in this study was 1,35 % for brain cases and 0,12 % for Glioblastoma cases. The result of the hypothesis testing shows: (1) there is a relationship positive and significant between achievement motivation with science learning outcome, (2) there is a relationship positive and significant between learning environment with science learning outcome, and (3) there is a relationship positive and significant jointly between achievement motivation and learning environment with science learning outcome.

Abstract

ABSTRAKHasil-hasil penelitian Internasional menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi siswa Indonesia secara umum tergolong rendah. Peserta didik kita di Indonesia belum menjadikan kegiatan membaca dan menulis sebagai kegiatan sehari-hari. Lewat Program Kampus Mengajar ini memberikan tanggung jawab yang tidak hanya berfokus pada bantuan mengajar, namun program ini bertujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi peserta didik. Kegiatan ini dikhususkan pada siswa siswi SDN Pagandongan yang belum lancar atau tidak tahu sama sekali membaca. Di setiap kelas setidaknya memiliki satu sampai empat siswa yang tidak mampu membaca ataupun memahami bacaannya. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan merupakan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan terkait penggunaan kartu baca, dengan kartu baca kami dapat mengukur dan mengetahui kemajuan peserta didik dalam pelatihan literasi. Pelatihan dan pendampingan ini dilaksanakan sepanjang penugasan kampus mengajar yaitu selama 4 bulan lamanya dengan 13 siswa dari beberapa kelas. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi melalui kartu baca ini memberikan dampak yang baik dengan meningkatnya kemampuan literasi peserta didik, kegiatan ini juga menumbuhkan kebiasaan-kebiasaan baik dengan memulai penerapan literasi sebelum pembelajaran dimulai. Kata kunci: kampus mengajar; kartu baca; kemampuan literasi ABSTRACTThe results of international research show that the literacy skills of Indonesian students are generally relatively low. Our students in Indonesia have not yet made reading and writing activities their daily activities. The Teaching Campus Program provides responsibilities that do not only focus on teaching assistance, but this program aims to help improve students' literacy skills. This activity is specifically for Pagandongan Elementary School students who are not yet fluent or don't know how to read at all. Each class has at least one to four students who are unable to read or understand what they are reading. The service method used in this article is a training and mentoring method related to the use of reading cards. With reading cards we can measure and determine students' progress in literacy training. The results obtained from this activity to improve literacy skills through reading cards have a good impact by increasing students' literacy skills. This activity also fosters good habits by starting to apply literacy before learning begins. Keywords: literacy skills;read card;teaching campus.

Abstract

Kelainan refraksi merupakan salah satu kondisi yang dapat menyebabkan penglihatan buram. Kelaian refraksi pada anak dapat berupa miopia, hipermetropia, dan astigmatisma. Gadget menjadi barang yang sangat sulit dipisahkan dari kehidupan sehari-hari. Gadget juga sudah sangat familiar dikalangan anak-anak usia dini. Tak bisa dipungkiri, teknologi menjadi satu hal yang sangat erat dengan manusia saat ini. Dengan semakin canggihnya teknologi di era sekarang ini, informasi semakin terbuka lebar sehingga manusia bisa berkembang dalam bidang pendidikan, perekonomian, kreativitas, maupun di bidang lainnya. Meskipun gadget memiliki banyak manfaat untuk kehidupan, penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan memiliki dampak yang tidak bisa disepelekan. Salah satu dampak gadget yang dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan mata adalah kelaian refraksi.
