Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya “ Pengaruh Sarana dan Prasarana Sekolah Terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pematang Siantar ”. Jenis penelitian ini aadalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa di sekolah SMP Negeri 6 Pematang Siantar dengan jumlah 157 siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 157 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner (angket), dan dokumentasi. Teknik penggambilan hipotesis menggunkan analisis regresi berganda dan koefisien determinasi (R2). Hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa : 1) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan sarana terhadap minat belajar siswa hasil ini terlihat pada uji t dimana nilai t hitung dari sarana (3,302) > nilai t tabel (1,625481) yang berarti pada variabel tersebut signifikan. 2) terdapat pengaruh positif prasarana sekolah terhadap minat belajar siswa hasil ini terlihat pada uji t dimana nilai t hitung dari prasarana sekolah (1,462) < t tabel (1,625481) dan nilai signifikannya lebih besar dari 0,05 dimana nilai signifikannya sebesar 0,146 > 0,05. yang berarti pada variabel tersebut tidak signifikan. 3) sarana dan prasarana sekolah secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi minat belajar siswa hasil ini dapat dilihat pada uji F dimana nilai Fhitung (11,473) > nilai Ftabel (3,05). Uji koefisien determinasi R Square diketahui sebesar 0,130, yang berarti 13% variabel sarana dan prasarana sekolah berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa di sekolah SMP Negeri 6 Pematang Siantar. Sedangkan 87% merupakan pengaruh dari variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Nilai regresi sebesar 841,012 sedangkan residualnya 5644,619 yang artinya ada faktor lain yang ikut mempengaruhi minat belajar siswa namun tidak ikut diteliti yaitu sebesar 5644,619. Y : 19,254 + 0,330 X1 + 0,121 X2 + 5644,619.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of study habits and learning creativity on learning achievement at SMP Negeri 2 Siantar. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with research using survey methods. The population in this study was all 245 students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Siantar. The sample in this study was 152 students. The sampling technique uses a random sampling technique where sampling and population are taken randomly. Data collection techniques use questionnaires. The data in this study were analyzed using the normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination test. The results of the research show that there is an influence of habit on students' social studies learning achievement with tcount 2.021 > 1.976 ttable. Furthermore, there is an influence of learning creativity on students' social studies learning achievement with tcount > ttable (11.844>1.976). and there is an influence between study habits and learning creativity on students' social studies learning achievement with Fcount > Ftable (12,684>3,056).

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to determine (1) the economic learning outcomes of class NHT learning model on student learning outcomes in economics subjects in class XII IPS Tamansiswa Private High School Pematang Siantar. This research method uses quantitative experimental methods. This research was carried out at Tamansiswa Pematang Siantar Private High School. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling and consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, totaling 60 students. This data collection uses pre-test and post-test results in the form of multiple choice questions. The data analysis techniques used in this research are normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. Based on the findings in this research, it shows (1) the economic learning outcomes of students using conventional learning in the control class obtained an average score of 65. (2) the economic learning outcomes of students using the NHT learning model obtained an average score of 74.33. (3) there is an influence of the NHT learning model on the economic learning outcomes of students in class XII IPS at Tamansiswa Private High School Pematang Siantar. This is proven by the results of the t-test which obtained tcount > ttable = 4.53 > 1.68 with a significance level of 0.05, so it can be stated that ha is accepted. The conclusion of this research is the student learning outcomes in economic subject taught by using NHT learning model is better than using conventional learning in class XII IPS at Tamansiswa Private High School Pematang Siantar.

Abstract

The researcher's aim was to find out whether there were differences in learning outcomes in social studies learning materials using the Talking Stick learning model for class VIII at SMP Negeri 8 Pematang Siantar. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study were all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 8 Pematang Siantar with a total of 288 students. The sample in this study consisted of 2 classes, namely classes VIII-2 and VIII-3 with a total of 64 students out of a total of 288 students. Based on the results of descriptive data analysis, it shows that student learning outcomes in the experimental class (VIII-3) obtained an increase in learning outcomes of 27,5 with an average pretest score = 52,81 and an average posttest score = 80,31. Meanwhile, in the control class (VIII-2), an increase in learning outcomes was obtained by = 11,87 with an average pretest score = 40,94 and an average posttest score = 52.81. This means that there is a significant difference between the improvement in learning outcomes for class VIII-3 students using the Talking Stick learning model and class VIII-2 who learn using conventional learning media. The results of inferential statistics using SPSS version 25 obtained a significance level of 5% or = 0.05. The obtained tcount is 4.979. So it is known that thit>ttab (4.979 > 1.999), which means the alternative hypothesis is accepted It can be concluded that applying the Talking Stick learning model can improve social studies learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 8 Pematang Siantar for the 2022 – 2023 Academic Year.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain knowledge about the influence of teacher teaching styles and learning interests on the learning achievement of grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 12 Pematang Siantar for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is quantitative with an ex-post facto approach with the testing media used is SPSS 22. The total population in this study was 286 people, and the sample used was 170 people. The sample collection technique used is the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling Technique. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire (questionnaire). The hypothesis data collection technique uses multiple regression analysis and coefficient of determination (R2).The results stated that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence of teacher teaching style on learning achievement, this result is seen in the t test where the t value iscalculated from learning interest (5,710) > the t value of thetable (1.6540) which means that the variable is significant. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of learning interest on student achievement, this result is seen in the t test where and thecalculated t value of peers (3.020) > ttable (1.6540) which means that the variable is significant. 3) The teacher's teaching style and interest in learning together affect student achievement ( this result can be seen in the F test wherethe calculated F value (34.117) >the table F value (3.0501). The R Square coefficient of determination test is known to be 0.291, which means 29.1% of the variables of teacher teaching style and learning interest in learning achievement of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 12 Pematang Siantar. While 70.9% is the influence of other variables that were not studied in this study.,

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of character education and learning discipline on the social studies learning achievement of class VIII IPS students at SMP Negeri 6 Pematang Siantar for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 6 Pematang Siantar for the 2023/2024 academic year in October 2023 with a population of 171 people consisting of 5 classes and a sample of 120 people using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this research were documentation and questionnaires. The results of simple linear regression test calculations on student learning achievement were obtained Y = 61.07 + 0.45 X1 The results of simple linear regression test calculations on student learning achievement were obtained Y = 52.33 + 0.57 X2 Results of the significance test of the contribution between variables on the influence of character education on student learning achievement X1 (X1) obtained 37.84. The results of the significance test of the contribution between variables on the influence of learning discipline on student learning achievement (X2) were obtained as 2753.1217

Abstract

Education is the most important part that every human being must have, both formally and informally, to gain knowledge and learning experience. The development of science and technology has brought changes to almost all aspects of human life, including formal education. Education is a very important thing in life. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of using Audio Visual Media on Learning Outcomes in Class XI Economics Subjects at SMA Negeri 5 Pematang Siantar. Academic Year 2023/2024. This research is quantitative. The measurement scale uses a Likert scale. In data analysis using manual multiple regression testing. Based on the calculation results, it shows that the price variable partially has an influence on learning outcomes, namely 80.232. This means that the better the learning media used, the higher the learning outcomes you will get

Abstract

The problem in this research is that student discipline in general is still relatively low which can be seen in terms of not bringing learning equipment, not completing assignments on time, not completing homework on time, not entering class on time. This research aims to find out how much influence motivation and discipline have on the social studies learning achievement of class VIII UPTD students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar for the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is quantitative research carried out at SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar. The population in this study were all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar, totaling 223 students. The sample in this study consisted of 7 classes, namely classes VIII-1 to VIII-7 with a total of 146 students. Data analysis techniques are carried out in several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the classical assumption test, the above normality test is the main requirement to be able to proceed to the multiple regression analysis test with the data having a normal distribution and a significance level of > 0.05. The t test results are based on table 4.8. The calculated t value of motivation (2.544) is greater than the t table (1.6553). Based on the results obtained, we accept Ha and accept H0 for the motivation variable. Thus, there is an influence between motivation on the learning achievement of class VIII UPTD students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar. The calculated t value of learning discipline (2.997) is greater than the t table (1.6553), so based on the results obtained, we accept Ho and accept Ha for the learning discipline variable. Thus, learning discipline partially influences the learning achievement of class VIII UPTD students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar. So it can be concluded that self-efficacy and the school environment jointly influence student learning achievement, this result can be seen in the F test where the Fcount value (11.526) > Ftable value (2.6678). The R Square coefficient of determination test was found to be 0.139, which means that 13.9% of the motivation and learning discipline variables influence student learning achievement at the UPTD SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar school. Meanwhile, 86.1% is the influence of other variables not examined in this research, such as self-confidence, interest in learning, and peers.
