Abstract

The technology of utilizing hotspot networks has developed quite rapidly. In its development, internet technology uses a more flexible Mikrotik hotspot because it provides convenience for administrators and users. The object of this study is the hotspot network of Hayam Wuruk University (UHW) Perbanas.  The goal is to develop a leaderboard design as a medium for monitoring internet use through the UHW Perbanas hotspot.  Its application is through the integration of mikrotik with the web service API as a ranking of internet users against three categories of activities, namely downloads, uploads and internet usage times on each day and month.  Each of these categories has 20 users.  The test method uses a black box.  Hasil testing states  that the system is successfully operating, so that it can be implemented in the context of decision making by the management of  UHW Perbanas.

Abstract

The digital transformation has significantly increased the demand for fast, stable, and transparent internet access. The surge in internet users, particularly in the post-COVID-19 era, has made internet services a primary necessity. PT Olean Telematika as an Internet Service Provider (ISP) utilizing Fiber To The Home (FTTH) technology, needs to implement a monitoring system capable of displaying customer activity in real time as a form of service transparency. This study aims to develop and evaluate a leaderboard system based on Mikrotik API that presents bandwidth usage rankings of ISP customers. The system was developed using the Waterfall model and integrated with PHP and MySQL to manage customer upload and download activity dat. Rankings are visually displayed through a web-based interface. This paper evaluated the system using the System Usability Scale (SUS) instrument with 30 active users, resulting in an average score of 75.63, which falls into the “good” category. These results indicate that the system is not only functional but also positively received by users. The leaderboard system is effective in enhancing service transparency and supporting data-driven decision-making by ISPs to improve customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract: Distribution of frozen food requires efficient route planning due to strict cold chain requirements and high operational costs. PT. Mitra Nasional Kualitas (Minaku) currently determines delivery routes based on drivers’ intuition, resulting in inefficiencies. This research applies Dijkstra’s algorithm integrated with real sales data to optimize distribution from Gresik to several cities in Java. The network is modeled as a weighted graph with distances as edge weights. Simulation on 15 cities with monthly demands exceeding 1,000 kg shows potential cost savings of about 16.2% when using optimized routing. Integration of shortest path algorithms with business data can significantly improve cost efficiency in cold chain logistics. Keywords: Dijkstra algorithm, shortest path, logistics, frozen food, sales data.
