Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka mempunyai tiga karakteristik utama yaitu: 1). Pengembangan kemampuan non-teknis (soft skills); 2). Berfokus pada materi esensial; 3) Memberikan fleksibilitas bagi guru. Science Kits berupa seperangkat alat/komponen yang ditempatkan dalam suatu tempat tertentu berfungsi sebagai alat peraga IPA. Dalam penggunaannya, biasanya alat-alat tersebut dirakit terlebih dahulu. Basic science kits merupakan alat peraga IPA ini berfungsi untuk menghadirkan suatu kejadian alam di dalam kelas selama pembelajaran IPA. Alat peraga IPA sangat diperlukan karena dengan alat peraga IPA siswa tidak harus keluar kelas, kejadian alam dapat diamati berulang-ulang, dan kejadian tersebut dapat diamati setiap saat. Maka kegiatan PkM ini berupa memberdayakan guru SD dalam menggunakan science kits di dalam kurikulum Merdeka sehingga tujuan dari pembelajaran IPA dapat tercapai. Solusinya dengan melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan guru dalam menggunakan science kits dan mengimplementasikannya di dalam kurikulum Merdeka. Metode ini dilengkapi dengan teknik learning by doing. Proses pelatihan dilakukan dengan demonstrasi dan diskusi interaktif. Sedangkan proses pendampingan dilakukan dengan tehnik guide inquiry (inkuiri terbimbing) dengan metode praktikum. Manfaat yang diperoleh oleh guru-guru IPA yang mengikuti kegaitan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat pendampingan guru dalam implementasi basic science kits pada kurikulum merdeka belajar karena menambah wawasan dan pengalaman dalam melaksanakan praktikum dengan menggunakan basic science kits. Mengatasi kesulitan guru dalam keterampilan menggunakan alat-alat praktikum pada basic science kits. Serta guru- guru dapat mengajarkan siswanya pengalaman praktikum dengan menggunakan basic science kits.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of animationvideo learning media assisted by the Doratoon platform on the Budaya Daerahkumaterial. This research is research and development with the ADDIE model whichincludes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Initialobservations show that learning at SDN Cilember 01 is still dominated by lecturemethods with book media, making it less attractive for students. The developedmedia was validated by experts with a feasibility percentage of 98.3% (mediaexperts), 94% (linguists), 92% (subject matter expert 1), and 96% (subject matterexpert 2) indicating that the media is very feasible to use. The trial on 35 studentsin grade V resulted in a positive response from students (87%) and teachers (90%),as well as an increase in average scores from 60 to 83.7. This media is consideredfeasible and effective to improve student learning outcomes, understanding, andmotivation.

Abstract

This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques involved observation, interviews, instrument sheets in the form of questionnaires for student and teacher responses, as well as pre-test and post-test questions. The aim of this study was to explore the development process of an animated learning video using the Renderforest application on the topic My Attitude Toward Cultural Diversity and to evaluate its feasibility and effectiveness in supporting the learning process.The research subjects consisted of four expert validators, one Grade IV teacher, and 23 Grade IV students of SDN Wanaherang 02. The product developed in this study is an animated learning video created using Renderforest, which was validated by media experts, language experts, and subject matter experts. Its feasibility was assessed through student response questionnaires, while its effectiveness was measured using pre-test and post-test results.The research findings indicate that the feasibility test results were: media expert 94%, language expert 100%, subject matter expert (lecturer) 96%, and subject matter expert (teacher) 98%. In addition, a limited trial involving 23 Grade IV students showed that the product received a very feasible rating with a score of 98%. The effectiveness test also demonstrated improvement, with pre-test results of 64.7% and post-test results of 92.1%. It can be concluded that the animated learning video developed using the Renderforest application is highly feasible and effective for use in the learning process.
