Abstract

In raising the freshwater fish in the aquarium, we need to pay attention on the fish’s health by noticing the feeding time and the aquarium cleanness. The busy fish owners sometimes do not have time to clean the aquarium and replace the water. The food is even not given regularly. The system which can be developed to help the fish owners in handling the problems in raising the fish is the scheduled automatic feeding monitoring system and automatic water changer when the water has turned turbid. The system is developed by using the NodeMCU ESP8266 as the controlling center and in the same time it helps the system to connect to internet. The system is equipped with the website page to help the fish owner in monitoring the aquarium condition from the distance.

Abstract

Businesses in the form of services continue to grow, although many service providers still face challenges in improving operational efficiency and service quality because they still use manual systems to manage orders and customer data, which are often not integrated. This research aims to design and build a mobile-based shoe washing service application with a focus on Pojok Shoescare. This application aims to make it easier for customers to order shoe washing services online and provide convenience for admins in managing customer and order data. A web-based admin dashboard was developed to enable more structured data management. The development method used in application development is Rapid Application Development (RAD) because it is flexible and able to accelerate the development cycle. Results from BlackBox testing show that the application runs optimally and meets user needs related to ease of use and service efficiency. This application is expected to improve the quality of service at Pojok Shoescare and provide a better experience for customers in ordering shoe washing services and supporting business growth in the future. Keywords: Android, Mobile application, Online ordering, Rapid application development, Shoe washing services

Abstract

The development of information technology has increased the popularity of online food ordering, but many small restaurants still use conventional methods, so Android Mobile-based ordering systems are an effective solution to increase efficiency and reduce errors. This research aims to produce a food ordering application, namely geprek chicken at Warung Keysha online based on Mobile Android. This application builds the system using a Research and Development (R&D) strategy in conjunction with the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model, which comprises three stages: needs planning, RAD design workshop, and implementation. Research and Development (R&D) approach to build the system. The program was tested using black box testing, which makes sure that every system function works as intended.. Fifty customers were the subject of the study to measure user reactions. questionnaires for data collection, and quantitative descriptive methods for data analysis. The findings showed that the developed application received a feasibility test result of 94% (very feasible).

Abstract

Mobile technology has changed the way consumers interact with service and product providers. One of the impacts is the increasing need for online ordering services that offer comfort and convenience. However, many businesses have not utilized mobile technology optimally. This research aims to develop an Android mobile-based ice cream ordering application with a case study on Pak Wagiman's Ice Cream business. There are challenges faced by ice cream businesses, including intense competition, fluctuating demand, accessibility needs, order recording errors, and limited technology adoption. The application development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), with stages: needs analysis, system design (use case diagram, class diagram and interface), application development using Kotlin on Android Studio, and MySQL database, and the last stage is black box testing and feasibility testing by users and implementation. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire to 120 customers using a Likert scale. The results of blackbox testing show that the application's functionality runs perfectly (100%), while the feasibility test gives a score of 95.6% (very feasible). The application proved effective in optimizing business processes, and further development is recommended to add a live chat feature to improve direct interaction with customers.

Abstract

The Cepu Oil and Gas Human Resources Development Center faces challenges in the efficiency of reporting and monitoring employee assignments due to the use of conventional methods that are prone to delays and inaccuracies in data. The impact of the absence of a web-based performance appraisal application causes obstacles in managerial decision making, decreased productivity, and increased occupational safety risks. To overcome this problem, a web-based employee performance appraisal system was developed using XAMPP, Laravel, HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL technologies, by applying the Waterfall Model system development method. The development process includes designing, implementing, and testing key features such as employee data input, assignments, reports, and performance appraisals by supervisors. The approach used includes quantitative analysis through questionnaires and qualitative analysis through interviews. The results show that this application has succeeded in increasing the efficiency and accuracy of reporting, enabling real-time access to data, and supporting faster and more precise decision making at the Cepu Oil and Gas Human Resources Development Center. ABSTRAKPusat Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Migas Cepu menghadapi tantangan dalam efisiensi pelaporan dan monitoring penugasan pegawai akibat penggunaan metode konvensional yang rentan terhadap keterlambatan dan ketidakakuratan data. Dampak dari ketiadaan aplikasi penilaian kinerja berbasis web menyebabkan hambatan dalam pengambilan keputusan manajerial, penurunan produktivitas, dan peningkatan risiko keselamatan kerja. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dikembangkan sebuah sistem penilaian kinerja pegawai berbasis web menggunakan teknologi XAMPP, Laravel, HTML, PHP, CSS, dan MySQL, dengan menerapkan metode pengembangan sistem Model Waterfall. Proses pengembangan meliputi perancangan, implementasi, serta pengujian fitur-fitur utama seperti input data pegawai, penugasan, laporan, dan penilaian kinerja oleh supervisor. Pendekatan yang digunakan mencakup analisis kuantitatif melalui kuesioner dan kualitatif melalui wawancara. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi pelaporan, memungkinkan akses real-time terhadap data, dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih cepat dan tepat di PPSDM Migas Cepu.

Abstract

Pemerintah Kabupaten Sleman, sejak 15 Mei 2016, telah meluncurkan aplikasi bernama 'Lapor Sleman', yang berfungsi sebagai platform untuk mengajukan keluhan masyarakat. Warga menginput data keluhan ke dalam aplikasi 'Lapor Sleman', termasuk kategori keluhan, judul laporan, rincian, serta foto dan koordinat. Seiring waktu, penggunaan media sosial seperti Twitter telah memberikan masyarakat berbagai opsi untuk mengekspresikan keluhannya. Klasifikasi manual dari banyak postingan Twitter oleh manusia telah menjadi tugas rutin yang seharusnya dapat dilakukan secara otomatis oleh mesin. Selain itu, memfasilitasi masyarakat dalam mengajukan keluhan, termasuk klasifikasi keluhan otomatis, adalah sesuatu yang perlu diimplementasikan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi efektivitas dan akurasi metode Machine Learning (Naive Bayes Classifier) dan Deep Learning (Gated Recurrent Unit) dalam mengkategorikan keluhan masyarakat di Kabupaten Sleman. Tujuan penelitian secara khusus meliputi: (1) Menganalisis dampak hyperparameter Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC) terhadap akurasi selama pelatihan dan implementasi berkas pickle; (2) Menganalisis hyperparameter Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) terhadap akurasi selama pelatihan dan penggunaan berkas h5 dan pth; (3) Membandingkan kinerja antara metode NBC dan GRU. Dataset pelatihan terdiri dari 5.308 keluhan masyarakat yang dikumpulkan dari aplikasi 'Lapor Sleman'. Hasil menunjukkan keunggulan NBC. Namun, NBC sedikit kurang dalam mencapai akurasi dataset keseluruhan dibandingkan dengan GRU PyTorch. Sebaliknya, GRU di TensorFlow menunjukkan kinerja yang relatif kurang baik, menempati peringkat ketiga dalam sebagian besar aspek. Selain itu, GRU di TensorFlow menunjukkan tanda-tanda overfitting, terlihat melalui penurunan akurasi selama pengujian dengan dataset lengkap.

Abstract

Kejahatan klitih di wilayah Yogyakarta telah menimbulkan kekhawatiran serius bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat, sehingga mengancam keamanan dan kenyamanan publik. Dalam upaya penanganan permasalahan ini, penelitian ini mengajukan solusi implementasi teknologi keamanan yang berfokus pada kamera night vision dan machine learning guna mendeteksi kejahatan klitih dengan efektif, khususnya pada rentang waktu malam.  Data yang dikumpulkan untuk penelitian ini terdiri dari 1006 gambar yang direkam dari aksi kejahatan klitih. Proses pengolahan data melibatkan beberapa tahap, dimulai dengan preprocessing di mana seluruh gambar diubah ukurannya menjadi 640x640 piksel. Selanjutnya, dilakukan augmentasi data untuk meningkatkan variasi dan ketangguhan model, berupa rotasi sebesar 90°, crop dengan variasi zoom dari 0% hingga 20%, penambahan noise dilakukan hingga 5%.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model YOLOv6 memberikan kinerja terbaik dalam mendeteksi label senjata, dengan akurasi sebesar 0,9 dan F1-score mencapai 0,91. Sementara itu, dalam mengenali kejahatan fisik, YOLOv6 juga menunjukkan performa unggul dengan akurasi 0,63 dan F1-score 0,73. Model Faster R-CNN dan SSD juga memberikan hasil yang baik, namun YOLOv6 mempertahankan dominasi dalam deteksi kejahatan klitih berdasarkan akurasi dan evaluasi metrik lainnya. Pemanfaatan teknologi pendeteksian klitih di masa depan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih aman dan nyaman bagi seluruh masyarakat.   Abstract The prevalence of klitih criminal activity within the Yogyakarta region has engendered significant apprehension among governmental authorities and the public alike, thereby posing a substantial risk to community safety and well-being. In an effort to address this pressing concern, the present research advocates for the deployment of advanced security technologies, specifically emphasizing the utilization of night vision surveillance cameras in conjunction with machine learning algorithms to proficiently identify klitih-related offenses, particularly during nocturnal hours. The dataset utilized for this investigation comprises 1,006 photographic images obtained from various klitih crime occurrences. The data processing procedures encompassed multiple phases, commencing with preprocessing wherein all images were standardized to dimensions of 640x640 pixels. Subsequently, data augmentation techniques were employed to bolster the diversity and resilience of the model, incorporating transformations such as 90° rotations, cropping with zoom variations ranging from 0% to 20%, and the introduction of noise levels of up to 5%. The findings of this study indicate that the YOLOv6 model exhibited the most favorable performance in the detection of weapon classifications, achieving an accuracy rate of 0.9 and an F1-score of 0.91. Furthermore, in the context of identifying physical crimes, YOLOv6 similarly showcased outstanding efficacy, attaining an accuracy of 0.63 and an F1-score of 0.73. Although the Faster R-CNN and SSD models yielded commendable results, YOLOv6 sustained its preeminence in the realm of klitih crime detection, as evidenced by its superior accuracy and other evaluative metrics. The prospective implementation of klitih detection technology holds the potential to make a constructive impact in fostering a safer and more secure environment for the entire community.

Abstract

Pengenalan dinosaurus di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan ilustrasi yang menarik dan realistis. Metode konvensional seperti buku teks hanya menyajikan gambar statis yang kurang mampu menggambarkan bentuk dan perilaku dinosaurus secara utuh. Aplikasi Augmented Reality (AR) semakin banyak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif yang mendukung visualisasi interaktif dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi AR berbasis marker (marker-based AR) untuk memvisualisasikan dinosaurus di SD Negeri Ngemplak Nganti. Aplikasi ini menggunakan teknologi marker-based untuk menampilkan model 3D dinosaurus secara realistis sesuai dengan marker (penanda) yang terpantau melalui perangkat mobile berbasis Android. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem dengan model Waterfall, yang meliputi tahapan pengumpulan data, analisis kebutuhan, desain, implementasi, dan pengujian. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi berhasil menampilkan objek 3D sesuai marker yang digunakan, dengan tingkat keberhasilan fungsionalitas mencapai 100%. Aplikasi ini kompatibel dengan perangkat Android versi 8 ke atas dan diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi untuk pengembangan aplikasi pendidikan serupa.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted to address two main problems identified at TK Pamardisiswi Muja Muju, Yogyakarta: the limited digital literacy among parents in guiding their children’s use of technology, and the absence of an accessible web-based student registration system. The program was implemented through an educational and technological approach, including observation, interviews, system development, training, and evaluation. The developed information system simplified the administrative process and expanded access to educational information. The training provided not only improved participants’ technical skills in operating the system but also enhanced their understanding of digital parenting. Evaluation results indicated a significant increase in participants’ abilities: login (35% to 92%), online form completion (28% to 89%), document upload (25% to 86%), understanding of digital content risks (19% to 81%), and awareness of parental roles in guiding children in the digital environment (30% to 90%). This program contributed to strengthening family digital literacy and advancing educational digitalization in early childhood settings.

Abstract

Teknologi augmented reality berguna di penjualan furnitur untuk memvisualisasikan furnitur tersebut di ruangan yang diinginkan. Teknologi ini memberikan dapat membantu pengguna dalam mengambil keputusan pembelian furnitur. Namun tantangan muncul dari ketidakakuratan ukuran dan jarak objek virtual yang ditampilkan oleh aplikasi di dunia nyata yang mengganggu pengalaman pengguna dalam menilai objek furnitur yang akan dibeli. Penelitian ini mengukur ketidakakuratan spasial tersebut untuk mengetahui fitur modifikasi objek yang sebaiknya disediakan untuk mengatasi dampak ketidakakuratan tersebut. Pengukuran dilakukan secara langsung terhadap proyeksi objek virtual di dunia nyata. Hasilnya dianalisis untuk menentukan fitur modifikasi spasial yang tepat diterapkan untuk mengatasi ketidakakuratan spasial objek virtual. Aplikasi AR Furnitur dirancang berdasarkan pemenuhan kebutuhan fitur-fitur tersebut, diimplementasikan, dan diuji fungsionalitasnya. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu berjalan dengan akurasi yang sangat baik pada saat inisiasi objek. Namun fluktuasi posisi dan disorientasi sesaat yang umum terjadi menyebabkan perubahan posisi dan orientasi objek yang cukup signifikan dari posisi dan orientasi awal. Fitur translasi horizontal, fitur rotasi pada sumbu vertikal, dan fitur deteksi permukaan datar diterapkan untuk dapat mengoreksi posisi dan orientasi objek furnitur di dunia nyata.
