Abstract

In the ever-growing digital era, social media has become an inseparable part of students' daily lives, which ultimately gives rise to the information overload phenomenon. This research aims to determine the condition of information overload among IAI AL-AZIS students due to unhealthy use of social media, as well as its impact on their academic and personal aspects.The research method used is qualitative. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation with 14 students at the Al-Zaytun Indonesian Islamic Institute from various study programs. The research results show that students experience information overload caused by unhealthy use of social media, such as difficulty in processing diverse and complex information, as well as confusion in selecting and assessing the truth of information. Apart from that, excessive use of social media has an impact on social media users themselves, both academically, personally, and socially. To minimize this impact, IAI AL-AZIS students apply strategies such as managing time and applying the principles of Islamic teachings, as in Surah Al-Hujurat verse 6, such as tabayyun, critical thinking, and being careful in spreading information whose truth is not yet known.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of interpersonal communication between employees and customers in instilling morality at Ma’had Al-Zaytun Store. The research aims to understand how interpersonal communication plays a role in shaping good behavior among employees and customers and to identify factors that support or hinder this process. This study uses a qualitative method with interviews, observations, and document collection as data collection techniques. The results of the study show that good interpersonal communication between employees and customers plays an important role in instilling morality at Ma’had Al-Zaytun Store. Good and attentive interactions enable the instillation of desired moral values and maintain a positive organizational culture. Supporting factors include friendliness, patience, honesty, thinking skills, and an open organizational culture, while inhibiting factors include unclear information, cultural differences, unprofessional handling of conflicts, and lack of specific training. Abstract

This research was conducted at the IAI Al-AZIS Campus and on the TikTok platform which is used personally by ustadz Syam, the target is related to the preaching message of Ustadz Syam Elmarusy on the theme of worship in TikTok media content and how students of IAI AL-AZIS class VIII perceive the preaching message of ustadz Syam Elmarusy in TikTok media content. This research method uses a qualitative approach and is descriptive. Data was collected through interviews with IAI Al-AZIS class VIII students to explore their perceptions of the da'wah message conveyed by ustadz Syam in TikTok media content. Apart from that, direct observation of student interactions and reactions when watching the content. The results of the research show that the preaching message with the theme of worship delivered by ustadz Syam Elmarusy on TikTok uses an informative and persuasive approach. ustadz Syam uses an informative approach to explain the content of the da'wah message in the video, as well as a persuasive approach to invite the audience. The message conveyed does not contain any coercive or coercive elements in it. As for students' perceptions of ustadz Syam Elmarusy's preaching message in TikTok media content. Cognitively, this message provides new knowledge that at that time there had been mistakes when working on it so far. Affectively, this message makes them inspired and motivated to do good things. Abstract

This study aims to: (1) whether or not there is a relationship between OPMAZ organizational culture and behavioral changes in grade 12 students of MA Ma'had Al-Zaytun; (2) the influence of OPMAZ organizational culture on behavior changes in grade 12 MA Ma'had Al-Zaytun students as administrators and non-administrators of the organization. The research method used is a quantitative approach with the theory used in this study being Robbins (1996) theory, namely organizational culture and behavior change theory. A simple linear regression test was used in the study to determine the influence, and the determination coefficient (R2) was used to determine the percentage of influence on the number of samples of 76 respondents and a total population of 579. The results of the study show that: First, there is a positive relationship between OPMAZ organizational culture and changes in student behavior, which is evidenced by the value of the determination coefficient (R²) of 0.485 or 48.5%, which shows that around 48.5% of the variability of student behavior changes can be explained by variations in OPMAZ organizational culture. Second, a simple linear regression test revealed that OPMAZ organizational culture had a significant influence on changes in student behavior, with a regression equation of Y = 0.6964X and then Scatter Plot analysis with the Standardized Coefficients method showed a strong positive linear relationship between the two variables. Based on the results of the analysis, the change in student behavior was categorized into 4 quadrants actually and 2 quadrants based on regression results, which showed the similarity of the level of organizational culture and changes in student behavior from sufficient to good.
