Abstract

The role of the teacher is crucial in determining the learning model and plays a vital role in student learning outcomes. The model chosen must be in accordance with the characteristics of the class, besides that students have a tendency not to listen to the teacher's explanation if students are less involved in the process, then the carousel feedback learning model can present the missing element, which is more involved students in the learning process. This research is an experimental research, and uses Pre-Experimental Designs research design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research technique. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes before applying the carousel feedback learning model are known in the high category as many as 1 person or 3.9%, 21 people or 80.7% in the medium category, and 4 people or 15.4% in the low category, then student learning outcomes after applying the carousel feedback learning model in the high category as many as 3 people or 11.5%, 20 people or 77% in the medium category, and 3 people or 11.5% in the low category, so there is an increase in student learning outcomes before and after the application of the carousel feedback learning model. The increase in student learning outcomes in the high category from 3.9% to 11.5% is also reinforced by the results of hypothesis testing using IBM SPSS 26 which shows that the sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.00 0.05 which indicates that the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and shows a significant difference, so it can be concluded that the application of carousel feedback learning media can improve the learning outcomes of ninth grade students in PAI subjects at SMP Negeri 55 Palembang.

Abstract

Sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk akhlak siswa, terutama melalui pengaruh teman sebaya dan penerapan tata tertib sekolah. Permasalahan yang ditemukan di SMA Negeri 1 Tiga Dihaji menunjukkan adanya indikasi perilaku kurang baik di kalangan siswa, seperti kurangnya kesopanan dan pelanggaran tata tertib. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pergaulan teman sebaya terhadap akhlak siswa, menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh pelaksanaan tata tertib sekolah terhadap akhlak siswa, serta menguji pengaruh kedua variabel tersebut secara simultan terhadap akhlak siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi akademik dalam pengembangan kajian pendidikan karakter, serta menjadi referensi bagi sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembinaan akhlak siswa melalui pengelolaan lingkungan sosial dan disiplin sekolah yang lebih efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 142 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sensus. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pergaulan teman sebaya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap akhlak siswa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,048 < 0,05 dan kontribusi sebesar 29,9%. Pelaksanaan tata tertib sekolah juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap akhlak siswa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,037 < 0,05 dan kontribusi sebesar 15,1%. Secara simultan, kedua variabel ini memiliki pengaruh terhadap akhlak siswa dengan nilai Fhitung 8,730 lebih besar dari Ftabel 3,06 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,011 < 0,05. Koefisien determinasi (R²) menunjukkan bahwa pergaulan teman sebaya dan pelaksanaan tata tertib sekolah secara bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh sebesar 37,4% terhadap akhlak siswa, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pergaulan teman sebaya yang positif dan penerapan tata tertib sekolah yang konsisten dapat membantu membentuk akhlak siswa yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi efektif dalam membangun lingkungan pergaulan yang baik dan menegakkan tata tertib sekolah secara optimal.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology in the 21st century has significantly transformed education, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). In this digital era, teachers are required to adapt to increasingly open access to information and dynamic learning environments. This condition demands adaptive and innovative pedagogical competencies, enabling teachers to integrate digital technology effectively while maintaining Islamic values. This study aims to examine the challenges and opportunities in strengthening PAI materials in the digital age, focusing on curriculum transformation, pedagogical innovation, technology integration, and teachers’ digital competencies. Despite growing research on digital education, a gap remains in understanding how PAI teachers can holistically integrate digital pedagogy while preserving Islamic values a gap this review specifically addresses. This study uses a systematic literature review approach based on the PRISMA framework. Relevant studies published between 2015 and 2025 were collected from Google Scholar, Scopus, and ERIC. The selection process applied clear inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure the quality and relevance of the studies. Data were analyzed thematically to identify key patterns and trends in developing pedagogical competencies in digital-based Islamic education. The findings indicate that pedagogical competence development is influenced by flexible curriculum design, innovative teaching approaches, technology integration, and the reinforcement of Islamic values. A key trend identified is the increasing adoption of AI-based personalized learning, while a critical gap remains in empirical evidence on the long-term outcomes of technology integration in Islamic education contexts. Approaches such as discovery learning, deep learning, and gamification enhance student engagement and understanding. Digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, enable personalized and more effective learning. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, low digital literacy, and teachers’ readiness remain significant barriers, particularly in remote and under-resourced settings. In conclusion, strengthening PAI teachers’ pedagogical competencies requires a holistic approach that integrates curriculum flexibility, pedagogical innovation, and ethical use of technology aligned with Islamic values.
