Abstract

Background: Scabies is an infectious disease that is particularly important in populations with low socioeconomic level in developing countries. Scabies is not life-threatening so usually get treatment is low. But actually the chronic and severe scabies can cause dangerous complications. This study aimed to analyze factors associated the students with scabies disease.Subjects and Methods: This was an observational analytical study with cross-sectional design. This was conducted at Darussalam Islamic Boarding School of Blokagung Banyuwangi, Indonesia in March 23 to April 30,2016. A total of 90 samples were amounted 30 students with scabies and 60 had not scabies. Data collection was using questionnaire. Data analysis used STATA 13.Results: Four variables associated with scabies was associated indirectly obtained between knowledge and myth was negative amounting to the value of -1.88 (p < 0.001) path coefficient between knowledge and healthy behaviors is positive that amounting to 1.68 with value (p = 0.016), the path coefficient between myth - 2:39 (p = 0.038), the path coefficient between allowance to health behaviors positive value that is equal to 2:00 (p = 0.026), the path coefficient between health behavior with scabies is negative in the amount - 3:43 (p < 0.001).Conclusion: The level of knowledge, myths, pocket money indirectly related to the incidence of scabies through healthy behaviors. Abstract

Tuberculosis is one of the existing disease problems in Indonesian. The incidence of TB in Kedungrejo Village Muncar District was 26 cases. This study aims to determine the incidence of TB based on the environment and efforts to control the incidence of TB in Kedungrejo Village Muncar District. The type of this research was observational analytic used survey method and questionnaires with case control approach. Samples in this research were 52 Respondents. Sampling technique used simple random sampling. Data analised with chi square test at 95% confidence level using SPSS version 23.0. Result of research indicate there were relation between environment with incidence of TB in Kedungrejo Village Muncar District Banyuwangi, chi square statistic test result show that p = 0,01 (p&lt;0,05). The conclusion in this research was there is a statistical relationship between environmental with TB incidence in Kedungrejo Village Muncar District BanyuwangiKeywords: Tuberculosis, environment

Abstract

Kesenjangan antara pelayanan yang dirasakan dengan pelayanan yang diharapkan, hal ini disebabkan sebagai akibat tidak terpenuhinya harapan para pelanggan. Tidak sedikit keluhan kekecewaan yang terlontar dari masyarakat yang pernah menerima layanan kesehatan karena kurang terpenuhinya harapan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan kesehatan yang diterimanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi dengan kinerja petugas kesehatan di Puskesmas Kalibaru Kulon Kecamatan Kalibaru Kabupaten Banyuwangi.Desain penelitian ini menggunakan survey analitik dengan cross sectional dengan cara melakukan menyebarkan kuesioner pada 36 petugas kesehatan di Puskesmas Kalibaru dalam waktu itu juga, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan total sampling.Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa tak seorangpun motivasi kerja baik sejumlah 0 responden (0%) dengan kinerja kurang, motivasi kerja baik sejumlah 0 responden (0%) dengan kinerja cukup dan sebagian besar motivasi kerja baik sejumlah 24 responden (66.7%) dengan kinerja baik. Analisis data dengan menggunakan chi-square Asymp. Sig (0.000)< (0.05) maka Ho ditolak sehingga ada hubungan motivasi dengan kinerja petugas kesehatan.Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja organisasi maka intervensi terhadap motivasi sangat penting. Motivasi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kinerja petugas kesehatan, karena motivasi memberikan dorongan kerja yang baik untuk menjalin ikatan hubungan yang lebih kuat dengan instansi tempat bekerja dan pada akhirnya meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas puskesmas.

Abstract

Elderly exercise is a sport that is easy to do, has low impact, and is suitable for the physique of the elderly. Gymnastics is highly recommended for those from the pre-elderly to the elderly because it has many benefits for the body. Sleep quality is a measure of how easy it is for a person to start sleeping and maintain sleep. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of elderly exercise on sleep quality at the Tresna Wredha Krikilan Glenmore Banyuwangi Social Services UPT. This type of research uses qualitative analytical research with a cross sectional approach with the chi square test. The sample from this research was the elderly who were at the Tresna Wredha Krikilan Glenmore Banyuwangi Social Services UPT, namely 55 respondents. Process data using SPSS. The results of this study show that the p-value is 816 which indicates that there is no relationship between elderly exercise and sleep quality at the UPT social service Tresna Wredha Krikilan Glenmore Banyuwangi. The conclusion of this study is that there is no relationship between elderly exercise and elderly sleep quality at the UPT social service Tresna Wredha Krikilan Glenmore Banyuwangi.

Abstract

Nausea, vomiting is a normal symptom experienced by most pregnant women. This condition is common in early pregnancy, especially in the first week to the third month of pregnancy. Nausea and vomiting in pregnant women is often called morning sickness or can be called emesis gravidarum, but there are some pregnant women who experience nausea and vomiting anytime and anywhere, whether in the morning, afternoon or evening. This research uses a quasi-experimental research design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of slow deep breathing therapy for pregnant women with emesis gravidarum. From the research results, the results showed that before slow deep breathing therapy was carried out, there was a mild level of nausea and vomiting, namely 16 respondents (53.30%). Meanwhile, those who had moderate levels of nausea and vomiting were 14 respondents (46.70%). Then, after being given slow deep breathing therapy, the majority of respondents had mild nausea and vomiting, namely 30 (100%). The pre-test and post-test show a significant relationship with the criteria for nausea and vomiting in pregnant women with a p value = 0 <0.05 N = 30, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of effectiveness between slow deep breathing therapy on nausea and vomiting in pregnant women in BPM. Abstract

Pregnancy is the intrauterine growth and development of the fetus starting from conception and ending until the start of labor. The length of pregnancy from ovulation to parturition is approximately 280 days (40 weeks), and no more than 300 days (43 weeks). Anxiety is a response to certain threatening situations and is a normal thing that occurs accompanying development, change, and in finding one's identity and the meaning of life. One way to deal with anxiety is non-pharmacological therapy, namely distraction techniques. This research uses a quasi-experimental research design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of providing classical music therapy to reduce anxiety levels in pregnant women.That before classical music therapy was given a non-anxious level of anxiety, namely 9 respondents (16.7%), a moderate level of anxiety, namely 8 respondents (16.7%). Then, after being given classical music therapy, the majority of respondents had a non-anxious level of anxiety, namely 20 ( 66.7%) The level of mild anxiety was 10 respondents (33.3%). The pre-test and post-test show a significant relationship with the criteria for the level of anxiety of pregnant women with a p value = 0.000, <0.05 N = 30, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of effectiveness between classical.

Abstract

School children are susceptible to various snacks sold both at school and outside school. Lack of attention to the consumption of healthy snacks, resulting in the impact of decreased health, ranging from poisoning due to unhygienic storage and presentation processes to the risk of cancer due to the use of harmful food additives (Anak et al., 2019). This study aims to determine the relationship between students' knowledge of the observance of healthy snacks consumption behavior in sdn 03 source salak ledokombo jember, This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research, the sample in this study is students with a total of 40 students. Two variables, namely the relationship between students' knowledge of the observance of healthy snack consumption behavior in sdn 03 source salak ledokombo jember, the instrument used is using a questionnaire, based on table 4.6, the results obtained are categorized as good (22.8%) as many as 29 students, categorized as moderate (7.2%) as many as 11 students and categorized as less none. Based on the results of research that has been conducted by researchers regarding the relationship between students' knowledge of eating healthy snacks, it can be concluded as follows: the relationship between students' knowledge of eating healthy snacks is categorized as good there are 29 students (22.8%) and categorized as moderate as 11 students (7.2%).

Abstract

Sleep disorders in the elderly are a problem that can affect overall health. The lighting factor during sleep is thought to influence sleep quality through inhibiting melatonin production and disrupting circadian rhythms. This research used a cross-sectional design with a total sampling of 44 elderly respondents in Sidodadi Village, Banyuwangi. The independent variable is lighting (bright, dim, dark), while the dependent variable is sleep quality. Data analysis was carried out using the chi-square test. Most respondents slept in darkness (52.4%), and the majority had good sleep quality (83.3%). However, the results of the chi-square test showed that there was no significant relationship between lighting and sleep quality (p-value = 0.066). This research concludes that lighting does not have a statistically significant relationship with the sleep quality of the elderly in Sidodadi Village. Further research is needed to consider other variables that may influence sleep quality in older adults.

Abstract

Pregnancy is the growth and development of an intrauterine fetus starting from conception and ending until the start of labor. The duration of pregnancy from ovulation to parturition is approximately 280 days (40 weeks). One of the problems that often occurs is anemia in pregnancy. Many pregnant women do not know about anemia and how to prevent it. The factors that influence the level of maternal knowledge about preventing anemia are education, age, type of work, gestational age. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge and support of families towards pregnant women. This study used a quantitative descriptive design with a Spearman rho statistical test research design and used the technique snowball sampling. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire about the level of knowledge of pregnant women, family support and preventive behavior. The location was at the Genteng Kulon Health Center, Genteng District in July 2024. From the results of the study with the Spearman rho statistical test using SPSS on the level of knowledge, it was found that the level of significance value of 0.001. At the Genteng Kulon Health Center, Genteng District. From the results of this study, it is suggested that there is a need for direction and counseling from officers for IEC to pregnant women regarding increasing pregnant women and family support for anemia prevention behavior in pregnant women.
