Abstract

The Rohis (Islamic Student Activity Unit) in vocational schools (SMK) has currently become a platform for representatives from both public and private vocational schools to prevent the spread of radicalism among students in Surabaya. In this context, the role of Rohis is to accommodate the aspirations and problem-solving of each school, based on the experiences of students from different schools. This includes addressing issues from educators who sometimes influence their students to follow the path of radicalism they themselves have taken. This topic is intriguing to researchers because, based on field data and interviews with alumni who established this organization, the goal is to educate and enlighten students within the organization and their classmates. The method employed is qualitative, using interviews to analyze the gathered information. In this study, researchers found that current vocational school students in Surabaya consider Rohis as a platform for learning. This has brought researchers closer to the members of Rohis. After obtaining interview results, researchers will analyze the existing data using the theory of reconstructionism. The analysis reveals how Rohis members can think critically about issues within their respective schools and filter information or knowledge received by members or classmates.

Abstract

Manusia merupakan makhluk ciptaan Allah yang dibekali dengan berbagai potensi diri yang tidak dimiliki makhluk lainnya. Potensi ini dimaksudkan agar manusia dapat mengemban dua tugas utama, yaitu sebagai khalifatullah di muka bumi dan juga abdi Allah untuk beribadah kepada-Nya. Sehingga manusia dengan potensinya membutuhkan proses pendidikan, agar apa yang diembannya dapat terwujud. Seperti yang diungkapkan oleh Arifin bahwa pendidikan Islam bertujuan mewujudkan manusia berkepribadian muslim, baik secara lahir maupun batin, mampu mengabdikan segala amal perbuatannya untuk mendapatkan ridha Allah SWT. sehingga hakikat pendidikan Islam yang melahirkan manusia-manusia yang beriman dan berilmu pengetahuan, satu sama lain saling mendukung. Islam merupakan fenomena yang besar dan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari perkembangan hidup manusia di dunia yang telah mengukir dan mempengaruhi kehidupan manusia dan Islam adalah salah satu agama yang mayoritas diyakini oleh penduduk Indonesia. Agar Islam tetap ada di muka bumi, maka muncul berbagai pendekatan keilmuan dalam studi Islam yang selalu berkembang. Di antaranya pendekatan normatif, pendekatan filosofis, pendekatan psikologis, pendekatan historis, pendekatan ilmu sosial, pendekatan fenomologis, dan berbagai pendekatan lainnya. Diantara beberapa pendekatan tersebut, di makalah ini akan mengulas tentang pendekatan psikologis dalam studi Islam dimana pendekatan tersebut berhubungan dengan jiwa (kedamaian, ketentraman jiwa), sikap dan perilaku manusia dalam kehidupan beragama serta mempelajari seberapa berpengaruhnya agama atau keyakinan tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This community service aimed to enhance the digital literacy of Muslim community leaders (Takmir Masjid) in Klaten Utara, Indonesia, to improve the effectiveness of da'wah communication. The training program focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to utilize digital platforms for religious outreach. The program covered various topics, including creating engaging content, utilizing social media effectively, and understanding digital ethics. Participants learned to create informative and engaging da'wah content by utilizing various digital platforms and multimedia tools. The training employed a participatory approach, involving lectures, discussions, and practical exercises. A total of 30 Takmir Masjid from 30 mosques participated in the program. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills in using digital media for da'wah purposes. This program is expected to contribute to the development of more effective and engaging da'wah communication in the digital age, fostering a broader reach and deeper understanding of Islamic teachings within the community.

Abstract

Today's progressive modernization has brought a lot of change in the lives of people. However, the change that happens tends to end in a moral crisis. Especially educational institutions must be expected to be able to educate people with a soul, morality and good character. One of them through character formation that can be done by parents and teachers with this research, will be studied further in relation to the interaction of "smoking and kissing" children to parents. The aim of this research is to find out the interaction of "shrimp and kissing" children to parents in the formation of character children in Tk Pkk Watugajah, Gunung Kidul, D.I. Yogyakarta as well as the obstacles faced by parents and teachers. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitatively type. Related to the character formed by the interaction of "shrinking and kissing" from the child to the parent. The qualitative research plan serves to create a comprehensive narrative picture of the child's character formation at PKK Watugajah, Gunung Kidul, D.I. Yogyakarta which is described through the interaction of "shim and kissing hands" from child to parent. The results of the research show that the child at PKK Watchogajah, Mount Kidul and D. I. Yogyakarta have applied the practice of "Shim and Kissing Hands" with various strategies that have been carried out by parents and teachers. Despite the many obstacles that parents and teachers face in shaping children's character through interactions such as kissing and kissing, understanding relevant theories and applying appropriate solutions can help overcome those obstacles. Thus, parents can be more effective in instilling moral and ethical values that are important for the development of children's character.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing adolescents’ motivation to learn the Qur'an during puberty within the educational settings of madrasahs and Islamic boarding schools (pesantrens). Puberty represents a crucial stage of human development characterized by profound physical, emotional, and social transitions, which can significantly impact students' engagement in religious education—particularly in the consistent and disciplined practice of Qur’anic learning. Employing a quantitative research design, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 150 students aged 12–15 across various institutions. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis were used to examine the relationships among key variables, including family support, instructional methods, and psychological conditions, and their influence on students’ motivation. The results reveal that strong family support and interactive, student-centered teaching strategies are positively correlated with higher levels of learning motivation. Furthermore, emotional self-regulation and a clear understanding of the value of Qur’anic memorization play a vital role in sustaining motivation during this transitional phase. The study also highlights common challenges faced by adolescents, such as decreased concentration and mood fluctuations, underscoring the need for adaptive pedagogical approaches and increased collaboration between educators and parents. These findings offer practical insights for religious education practitioners in developing more effective, engaging, and supportive Qur'anic learning programs tailored to the developmental needs of adolescents undergoing puberty.

Abstract

Abstract Multiculturalism inspires multicultural education. Multicultural education is a concept, creating equal educational opportunities for students of different backgrounds and helping students acquire knowledge, attitudes and skills to interact and communicate with citizens from diverse groups so that a moral society is loved. Through multicultural education students are expected to have good competence in behaving and implementing democratic values, humanism and pluralism in the school environment and outside of school. On the other hand, educational institutions are tasked with preparing students to become a generation that has insight into attitudes and actions in the life of the nation and state that pays attention to multiculturalism. The development of multicultural education in schools can use a management approach both in teaching and learning activities in school activities and in the application of multicultural-based school management. The purpose of this study was to find out the form of multicultural education that integrates with the fields and activities of the school and how social interaction in the family of this educational institution is based on cultural and multicultural differences. The research approach uses a phenomenological approach that aims to describe the conditions or phenomena that occur, with the type of field research that is qualitative in nature. tera is based on multiethnic and multicultural differences as seen in the formation of an organizational structure for human resources in multi-ethnic educational institutions. Keywords: Multicultural Education and School-Based Management   Abstrak Multikulturalisme menginspirasi suati pendidikan multikuktural. Pendidikan multikultural merupakan sebuah konsep menciptakan persamaan peluang pendidikan bagi peserta didik yang berbeda latar belakang dan membantu peserta didik memperoleh pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan untuk berinteraksi, dan komunikasi dengan warga dari kelompok beragam agar tercipta sebuah tatanan masyarakat bermoral. Melalui pendidikan multikultural, peserta didik diharapkan memiliki kompetensi yang baik dalam bersikap dan menerapkan nilai demokratis, humanisme dan pluralisme di lingkungan sekolah dan di luar sekolah. Di sisi lain, lembaga pendidikan bertugas mempersiapkan peserta didik menjadi generasi yang memiliki pengetahuan, wawasan / sikap dan tindakan di dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara yang memperhatikan latar belakang multikulturalisme. Pengembangan pendidikan multikultural di sekolah dapat menggunakan pendekatan manajemen baik di dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, kegiatan sekolah maupun penerapan manajemen sekolah berbasis multicultural. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk pendidikan multikultural yang menyatu dengan bidang dan kegiatan sekolah serta bagaimana interaksi sosial dalam keluarga lembaga pendidikan ini berdasarkan pada perbedaan multietnik dan multikultural Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan keadaan atau fenomena yang terjadi, dengan jenis penelitian lapangan yang bersifat kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh adanya salah satu kegiatan sebagai bentuk pendidikan multikultural yaitu kegiatan Cross Cultural Understanding yang bermanfaat untuk menumbuhkan dan menguatkan nilai-nilai multikultural sebagai sebuah ikatan kebersamaan dan kemanusiaan.  Selain itu adanya interaksi sosial secara positif dan sejahtera berdasar pada perbedaan multietnik dan multikultural yang terlihat dalam pembentukan struktur organisasi sumber daya manusia lembaga pendidikan yang berbasis multietnis. Pembentukan struktur organisasi yang berbasis multietnis dapat saling menguatkan sehingga lebih fokus dan optimal dalam mewujudkan impian kehidupan multikulturalisme yang harmonis dan damai di lingkungan sekolah.
