Abstract

Today's progressive modernization has brought a lot of change in the lives of people. However, the change that happens tends to end in a moral crisis. Especially educational institutions must be expected to be able to educate people with a soul, morality and good character. One of them through character formation that can be done by parents and teachers with this research, will be studied further in relation to the interaction of "smoking and kissing" children to parents. The aim of this research is to find out the interaction of "shrimp and kissing" children to parents in the formation of character children in Tk Pkk Watugajah, Gunung Kidul, D.I. Yogyakarta as well as the obstacles faced by parents and teachers. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitatively type. Related to the character formed by the interaction of "shrinking and kissing" from the child to the parent. The qualitative research plan serves to create a comprehensive narrative picture of the child's character formation at PKK Watugajah, Gunung Kidul, D.I. Yogyakarta which is described through the interaction of "shim and kissing hands" from child to parent. The results of the research show that the child at PKK Watchogajah, Mount Kidul and D. I. Yogyakarta have applied the practice of "Shim and Kissing Hands" with various strategies that have been carried out by parents and teachers. Despite the many obstacles that parents and teachers face in shaping children's character through interactions such as kissing and kissing, understanding relevant theories and applying appropriate solutions can help overcome those obstacles. Thus, parents can be more effective in instilling moral and ethical values that are important for the development of children's character.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in managing financial risks within Islamic finance, ensuring alignment with Sharia principles. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology based on the PRISMA framework, analyzing 45 scholarly articles from 2015 to 2024 sourced from databases such as Scopus and Web of Science, alongside primary data from annual reports of leading Islamic banks in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Middle East. The findings reveal that AI enhances financial risk detection efficiency by 20%, reduces non-performing loans (NPLs) by up to 16.67% as demonstrated by Bank Muamalat Indonesia, and improves market risk management and Sharia compliance. Additionally, AI automates decision-making processes, cutting contract verification time by 25-40%, and supports maqasid al-shariah by optimizing zakat distribution and fostering financial inclusion, with a 15% increase in rural access in Nigeria. Regional case studies highlight Malaysia’s leadership in AI adoption and Indonesia’s challenges with digital literacy, while the Middle East leverages AI for liquidity resilience. The novelty of this research lies in its Sharia-based risk evaluation framework, integrating five dimensions—accuracy, efficiency, compliance, scalability, and social impact—providing a model for practitioners, academics, and regulators. The implications suggest that despite high implementation costs and skill gaps, government incentives and ethical oversight could drive sustainable AI integration, positioning Islamic finance as a competitive alternative in the digital era.

Abstract

The lack of understanding of elementary school students in Sukamukti Village towards computational thinking skills is a major problem. To overcome this, a teaching program was introduced using the Bebras method which aims to introduce and improve students' understanding of thinking skills through a series of logical questions and challenges. This program was implemented in four elementary schools targeting grades 5 and 6. The results of the post-test showed that the average student understanding was still at an inadequate level, with an average score of 52.23. This indicates that although this program was successful in introducing the concept of CT, a more varied approach and longer teaching time are still needed to improve students' understanding.

Abstract

Background: mothers who are employed as nurses encounter dual responsibilities, entailing both onerous workloads in medical facilities and demanding parenting duties in their homes. This dual burden has been shown to heighten the risk of parental burnout. Parental burnout, defined as emotional and physical exhaustion in parenting, has the potential to adversely impact parent-child relationships and child development. One approach to coping with this condition is through religious coping, which involves relying on religious beliefs and practices to manage life's difficulties. Purpose: To examine the relationship between religious coping and parental burnout among mothers working as nurses in Aceh. Methods: Quantitative correlational approach was employed with 173 nurse mothers selected using purposive sampling. Data were gathered using the Iranian Religious Coping Scale and the Parental Burnout Assessment. Results: The result of the study indicated that there was no significant relationship between religious coping and parental burnout. Despite the elevated levels of religious coping exhibited by the participants, particularly through practices such as prayer and salat, there was an absence of indications suggesting parental burnout. Conclusion: While religious coping may offer a mechanism for managing general stress, it is not sufficient to address the complex and multidimensional challenges associated with parental burnout. However, a study of nurse mothers in Aceh revealed that those who exhibited high levels of religious coping did not experience parental burnout.

Abstract

In the modern era, stunting is still one of the issues that need attention in the health sector in Indonesia. The stunting rate in Indonesia from 2022 to 2023 is still at the same figure, which is around 21%. From SKI data, it is also known that the prevalence of stunting in the DIY region increased from 2022, namely 16.4% to 18% in 2023. In the process of child growth and development, mothers have a fairly important role. The aim of this activity is to increase public awareness, especially pregnant women and mothers of toddlers, about the importance of preventing stunting to improve the health quality of future generations. Through counseling and demonstrations, the public is given an understanding of cheap, nutritious, and easily available local foods, and several supplements that are good for fulfilling the micronutrients of pregnant women. Evaluation through questionnaires showed an increase in participant understanding, where the understanding score increased from 82.36 to 90.28. This shows that this activity is effective in increasing public knowledge and health cadres in Dukuh Ponggok, Sidomulyo Village, Bambanglipuro District. This counseling is expected to have a positive impact in reducing stunting rates through increasing awareness and implementing healthy eating patterns in families

Abstract

BACKGROUND Nephrolithiasis or kidney stone disease (KSD) is common worldwide. Despite various effective treatment strategies, KSD recurrence remains a problem. This study aimed to investigate the risk factors of KSD recurrence. METHODS This retrospective cohort study used medical records of all patients who came to the Department of Urology, Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Jakarta, from January 2014 to December 2019, with asymptomatic and symptomatic KSD. Demographic information, clinical data, exposure to risk factors, and recurrent KSD diagnosis were collected. Univariate and multivariate analyses using logistic regression were performed to determine the significant risk factors. RESULTS We reported 325 patients with a median age of 52 years. More than half of the patients were males and from Java. Staghorn stone dominated the KSD types found in 181 patients (55.7%). After undergoing percutaneous nephrolithotomy, 214 patients (65.8%) became stone-free. However, about 40.6% of them later developed recurrent KSD. The adjusted odds ratio in recurrent KSD were 1.46 (95% confidence interval [CI] 1.33–1.59) for younger age, 1.86 (95% CI 1.61–2.07) for overweight–obese, 2.13 (95% CI 1.89–2.31) for less fluid intake, 1.81 (95% CI 0.97–2.12) for routine tea consumption, 1.24 (95% CI 1.06–1.84) for routine vegetables consumption, 2.27 (95% CI 1.83–2.84) for a family history of KSD, and 2.08 (95% CI 1.77–2.39) for diabetes mellitus (DM). CONCLUSIONS Most patients with recurrent KSD were younger, overweight/obese, had less fluid intake, a family history of KSD, and DM. Modifying a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet is important to prevent KSD recurrence.
