Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest of students, especially in reading interests. The learning media uses big book media. This study aims to determine the use of big book media on the reading interest of elementary school students in grade II in Pulokalapa II Elementary School because when observing in Pulocalapa II Elementary School, not all students have a high interest in reading and a lack of interesting learning media. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were all grade II students of Pulocalapa II Elementary School, totaling 27 students consisting of 15 female students and 12 male students. Data collection methods used were observation, questionnaire/questionnaire, interview, and documentation. Research shows that the use of big book media is said to be successfully applied in the lower classes to foster interest in reading. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the use of big book media can foster interest in reading elementary school students in grade II of SDN Pulokalapa II in the 2018/2019 school year.

Abstract

The goal of smart cities is to properly manage to expand urbanization, Reduce energy usage, Enhance the economic and quality of life of the locals while also preserving the environment conditions, and improve people's ability to use and adapt modern technology used in information and communication efficiently (ICT). Information and communication technology (ICT) is central to the concept of smart cities because it facilitates the development of policies, decision-making, implementation, and, eventually, the provision of useful services. This review's main objective is to examine how machine learning, deep reinforcement learning (DRL), and artificial intelligence are advancing smart cities. The previous strategies are effectively utilized to provide the best policies possible for a number of challenging issues relating to smart cities. The uses of the earlier methods are thoroughly discussed in this survey. in intelligent transportation systems (ITSs), Cybersecurity, as well as smart grid energy efficiency (SGs), ensuring the best 5G and beyond 5G (B5G) networking service, as well as a smart city with a smart health system, by effectively using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Finally, we list a number of the above-mentioned research problems and potential future directions approaches can be extremely helpful in bringing the idea of a smart city to life.

Abstract

Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)-Internet of Things (IoT) enable healthcare services and infrastructure to enhance human lives, but they are vulnerable to various emerging cyber attacks. Cybersecurity specialists struggle to keep up with increasingly sophisticated attack methods. An urgent requirement exists for inventive cognitive cybersecurity in CPS-IoT enabled healthcare ecosystems. This paper presents a framework for cognitive cybersecurity to simulate human cognitive behavior in anticipating and responding to new and evolving cybersecurity and privacy threats to CPS-IoT and critical infrastructure systems. The framework encompasses the conceptualization and description of a layered architecture that integrates Artificial Intelligence, cognitive methods, and innovative security mechanisms.

Abstract

AbstractLearning and assessment are an inseparable whole. Assessment, if designed appropriately, thoroughly and used appropriately in assessment procedures, can contribute to effective learning and have an impact on the competence of quality students. This study aims to analyze the need for project-based authentic assessment of teachers in elementary schools. This research includes descriptive qualitative research on elementary school teachers in Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java. Data was collected through literature studies of reputable international articles indexed by Scopus and field studies through questionnaires distributed to 103 elementary school teachers, interviews, and documentation studies of 10 elementary school teachers. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model includes: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study showed that the majority of teachers' assessments focused on the knowledge aspect using a multiple-choice test, the attitude aspect using observation, and the skill aspect using project assessment. Due to a lack of references, teachers struggle to develop assessment instruments and thus lack a clear rubric. The conclusion of this study is that teachers have difficulty implementing project-based authentic assessments so they need a practical authentic assessment companion book. Keywords: authentic assessments, project-based, primary school teacher.
