Abstract

The fulfillment of pregnant women's nutrition is important during their pregnancy. By getting balanced and good nutrition, pregnant women can reduce health risks to their fetus, such as stunting. However, less intake in pregnant women is still found in the RW 06, Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta.  Therefore, appropriate intervention is needed to prevent its problem.  Intervention is carried out in the form of community service and aims to improve the knowledge and skills of pregnant women in providing and consuming a balanced diet. The methods used are talk show, virtual counseling, and self-practice of making a balanced and nutritious menu. The number of pregnant women has reached the target (20 people).  After these activities, there was an increase in their knowledge by 1,6. Based on skills, all participants have succeeded in practicing the balanced and nutritional menu at their home.

Abstract

Nutritional status is the nutritional state of a person due to nutrients that enter and leave so that they can find out whether they have normal or problematic nutrition (malnutrition). Nutritional problems are defined are stunting, wasting, and obesity as well as deficiencies of micronutrients such as anemia. Nutritional status can be influenced by several factors. Among the factors that influence nutritional status are knowledge and behavior of balanced nutrition. This study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge and behavior of balanced nutrition with the nutritional status of adolescents in the Tangerang Regency in 2021. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional research design with a total sample of 110 people obtained from the purposive sampling method. A knowledge and behavior of balanced nutrition variables using a questionnaire. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between balanced nutritional behavior and adolescent nutritional status and there was no relationship between nutritional knowledge and adolescent nutritional status, so it is expected that adolescents in the Tangerang District in 2021 to improve balanced nutritional behavior such as eating a variety of foods, regularly consuming vegetables and fruits, as well as using digital media to find out what to pay attention to in measuring weight and height, as well as how to calculate the nutritional status of adolescents.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pada umumnya wanita akan mengalami haid atau menstruasi setiap bulan. Pada saat menstruasi, terdapat wanita yang mengalami nyeri atau dismenorea. Dismenorea diketahui memiliki klasifikasi derajat mulai dari ringan hingga berat. Dismenorea derajat sedang hingga berat dapat berdampak negatif pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Ada beberapa zat gizi yang mampu meringankan derajat dismenorea yaitu asam lemak omega-3 dan vitamin B1. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara asupan asam lemak omega-3 dan vitamin B1 dengan derajat dismenorea pada mahasiswi di Program Studi Ilmu Gizi di UHAMKA. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Data asupan asam lemak omega-3 dan vitamin B1 diperoleh dengan wawancara menggunakan semi quantitative-food frequency questionnaire (SQ-FFQ). Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Responden mengalami dismenorea derajat sedang−berat sebanyak 78,3%. Terdapat hubungan antara asupan asam lemak omega-3 (p=0,017) dan asupan vitamin B1 (p=0,034) dengan derajat dismenorea. Terdapat hubungan antara asupan asupan asam lemak dengan derajat dismenorea pada mahasiswi di Program Studi Ilmu Gizi di UHAMKA. Kesimpulan: Asupan asam lemak omega-3 dan vitamin B1 berhubungan dengan derajat dismenorea sehingga dapat meringankan derajat keparahan dismenorea.
