Abstract

Penerapan metode Montessori berbantu alat peraga papan perkalian pada siswa SD untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil observasi ditemukan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas 3 SDN Sudikampiran 2 pada mata pelajaran matematika tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa perlu perubahan dalam pendekatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru kurang optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dengan demikian observasi penerapan alat peraga papan perkalian aktivitas guru dalam penelitian ini mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I mencapai 70,8% dan pada siklus II meningkat 87,5%. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I yang tuntas 60,86%, pada siklus ke II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 82,61%. Dan pada siklus II ini tuntas secara klasikal sebanyak 80% siswa tuntas belajar. Maka dengan hasil penelitian dalam menggunakan metode Montessori berbantu alat peraga papan perkalian dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning mastery in mathematics among fifth-grade students at UPTD SDN 3 Kedokan Bunder Wetan. A total of 73.53% or 25 students had not achieved mastery, while only 26.47% or 9 students met the criteria. This issue stemmed from teacher-centered learning and the continued use of conventional methods such as lectures and practice questions. As a solution, the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model was implemented to place students at the center of the learning process and encourage collaboration in solving real-life problems. The objectives of this study were to examine the implementation of PBI, the improvement in students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), and their collaboration skills in learning about three-dimensional shapes. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles, which included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The instruments used were observation sheets and written tests. The results showed an increase in HOTS from cycle I, where 22 students achieved mastery (mean score: 66.47; percentage: 64.71%), to cycle II with 29 students achieving mastery (mean score: 76.76; percentage: 85.29%). In addition, students’ collaboration skills also improved, as evidenced by observational data. This research demonstrates that the Problem Based Instruction model is effective in enhancing elementary students’ higher-order thinking and collaboration skills in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study originated from the recognition that students lacked sufficient exposure to collaborative learning environments and had limited experience in structured problem-solving. The research set out to analyze the impact of implementing the Group Investigation model, combined with the Case Method approach, on enhancing students’ teamwork and problem-resolution capabilities. A true experimental method was applied, utilizing a pretest-posttest control group design, and the research was conducted at MI Miftahul Ulum 2 Kaplongan Lor. The participants included 40 students, evenly assigned to experimental and control groups. Data collection instruments included essay-based assessments to gauge problem-solving and closed-format questionnaires to measure collaboration. Analysis through independent samples t-tests revealed meaningful distinctions between the two groups in both areas, as indicated by an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000. The R² value of 0.462 suggests that 46.2 percent of the variance in problem-solving improvement could be linked to the intervention. These results demonstrate that the Group Investigation learning strategy, when integrated with the Case Method, is effective in significantly strengthening both collaborative and problem-solving skills among students.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low interest and achievement of third-grade students in mathematics at SD Negeri 1 Grogol in the 2024/2025 academic year. To address this issue, the Make A Match model supported by Wordwall interactive media was applied to enhance students’ engagement and enjoyment in learning. Using a true experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group, Class III A (30 students) served as the experimental group and Class III B (30 students) as the control group, selected through random sampling. Instruments included a learning interest questionnaire and a learning achievement test, analyzed with the Mann- Whitney test. Findings indicated significant differences in both interest and achievement between groups, with Sig. values of 0.000 (α = 0.05). N-Gain results showed the experimental group achieved moderate improvement (0.31 for interest; 0.47 for achievement), while the control group remained low (0.21 for interest; 0.14 for achievement). These results confirm that the Make A Match model assisted by Wordwall has a significant positive effect on students’ learning interest and outcomes.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of students’ learning mastery in mathematics, where 55% or 18 out of 33 students had not yet achieved the minimum competency standard. This condition occurred because the learning process was still teacher-centered, using conventional methods such as lectures and practice exercises. To address this issue, the Polamatika method was implemented, emphasizing student-centered learning through the use of shadow boxes and collaborative problem-solving related to everyday life. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Polamatika method and its effectiveness in improving mathematical problem-solving skills in multiplication and learning activity among third-grade students of UPTD SD Negeri 2 Mundu. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on Kurt Lewin’s model, consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted in two cycles involving 33 students. The results showed an improvement in both learning mastery and student engagement across cycles. Learning mastery increased from 18 students (55%) in the first cycle to 25 students (80%) in the second cycle, meeting the classical success indicator of 80%. Likewise, students’ learning activity improved from 65.15% (active category) in the first cycle to 75.15% (very active category) in the second cycle. In conclusion, the application of the Student-Centered Learning model through the Polamatika method effectively enhanced students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities in multiplication and increased their learning activity in elementary school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika khususnya materi pecahan. Proses mengajar guru masih menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya keterlibatan siswa, kurangnya antusiasme, serta kesulitan dalam memahami konsep-konsep yang diajarkan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model Team Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan flashcard terhadap minat dan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah True Exsperimental Design dengan bentuk Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 60 siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Bakung Kidul yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu, kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan perlakuan dengan model TGT berbantuan flashcard dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari angket untuk mengukur minat belajar matematika siswa dan tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar matematika siswa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji prasyarat, uji-t, dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek minat belajar, N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,29 (kategori rendah) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,15 (kategori rendah). Sedangkan hasil belajar, uji N-Gain kelas eksperimen mencapai 0,53 (kategori sedang) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,40 (kategori sedang). Uji-t memperkuat temuan tersebut dengan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, yaitu sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 untuk minat belajar dan sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,047 untuk hasil belajar, keduanya berada pada taraf signifikansi α < 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan flashcard terbukti berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan minat dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV, sehingga dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang relavan untuk diterapkan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran multiliterasi menggunakan aplikasi Let’s Read terhadap minat dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas III sekolah dasar, serta untuk menguji peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran multiliterasi menggunakan aplikasi Let’s Read. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain True Eksperimental Design menggunakan Pretest- Posttest Control Grup Design. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa UPTD SDN 1 Kapringan. Dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling, ditetapkan kelas III A menjadi kelompok eksperimen sebanyak 27 siswa dan kelas III B menjadi kelompok kontrol sebanyak 30 siswa. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui lembar angket dan tes tulis. Berdasarkan perhitungan data statistik menggunakan uji t, di peroleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 < nilai α = 0,005. Maka, dapat dinyatakan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran multiliterasi menggunakan aplikasi Let’s Read terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Sedangkan, perhitungan dengan uji mann whitney, diperoleh sig.= 0,000 < α = 0,005. Maka, terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran multiliterasi menggunakan aplikasi Let’s Read terhadap minat membaca siswa. Pada perhitung statistik kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan uji N-gain, diperoleh nilai N-gain rata-rata pada kelas kontrol 0,14 dengan interpretasi rendah dan N- gain rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,67 termasuk kedalam interpretasi sedang. Maka, terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

This research is  motivated by the lack of time efficiency during teaching and learning activities in math lessons, and when teachers integrate learning with technology, students are rarely involved in the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Flipped Classroom learning model on digital literacy and student learning outcomes. In this study, the approach used was a quantitative approach with experimental methods and the research design used was True experimental in the form of Pretest - Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this study was all fifth-grade students of Riyadlul Muta'allimin Elementary School in the 2024/2025 academic year. By using a random sampling technique. Referring to the results obtained from data analysis, it obtained the calculation of the t-test (independent sample t-test) on digital literacy, namely (8.792)> (2.0423) and Sig (2-tailed) of 0.00 < α (0.05) and on the learning outcomes obtained the results of the mann whitney test with a value of z = -5.322 and Sig (2-tailed) of 0.00 < α (0.05). Based on the results of the data analysis, it show that there is an effect of the Flipped Classroom learning model on digital literacy and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of Riyadlul Muta'allimin Elementary School in the 2024/2025 school year.
