Abstract

Politeness is a social character that involves self-control and mutual respect, serving as a behavioral guide to build positive interactions in the educational environment. This research aims to examine publication patterns, geographical distribution, and the main topics addressed in studies on student politeness. The methodology used is bibliometric analysis with data taken from the research database sourced from the Scopus database within the range of 2014 to 2024. subject area in Social Sciences 786, Art and Humanities 668, Psychology 165. The articles selected and analyzed based on bibliometric indicators, such as the number of publications, amounted to 881. Software analysis was used to identify the keywords "politeness in education" OR "student politeness" OR "politeness" in the Scopus database and analyzed using VOSviewer. The results of this study are expected to support the development of character education programs and improve student-teacher relationships to foster a better educational culture. Abstract

Mindfulness is a necessary psychological state for adolescents. Mindfulness is essential in improving mental health and psychological well-being and can help adolescents optimize their learning process or cognitive and academic performance as students. The study aimed to obtain empirical data on mindfulness tendencies in adolescent candidates for International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) participants. The research method used is a mixed method with a convergent parallel design. The research sample was 12 adolescents who were candidates for the IJSO or International Junior Science Olympiad in 2022. The study results showed that the tendency of mindfulness in adolescent IJSO candidate participants was mainly in the high mindfulness category, and when reviewed based on the analysis of mindfulness aspects, behavioral indicators or characteristics of mindfulness tendencies in each IJSO candidate participant were quite diverse.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu dari 35 negara yang memiliki risiko tinggi terhadap bencana alam, dan memberikan dampak psikologis yang serius seperti PTSD. Anak-anak dan remaja merupakan korban bencana alam yang rentan untuk mengalami PTSD karena perkembangan kognitif yang belum berkembang dengan sempurna, sehingga merasa sulit untuk mengungkapkan ketakutannya dan memiliki ingatan yang kuat terhadap bencana alam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model trauma healingberbasis kearifan budaya lokal untuk membantu mengurangi gejala PTSD yang dimiliki peserta didik, dengan memanfaatkan nilai-nilai dan tradisi budaya setempat, serta menciptakan proses pemulihan yang lebih relevan dan adaptif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model R&D yang mengacu pada lima tahapan R&D Plomp untuk menghasilkan produk atau layanan yang efektif dan efisien. Terdapat dua instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan model ini yaitu, instrumen PTSD dan DCM untuk mengetahui gejala PTSD yang dimiliki oleh 2613 peserta didik SMP di Kab. Sumedang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya pengembangan model trauma healing berbasis kearifan budaya lokal untuk memberikan pendekatan baru kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam membantu peserta didik yang mengalami PTSD akibat bencana alam.
