Abstract

Proposal titled "START - UP BUSINESS DESIGN AND INSTANT SPICES PROTOTYPE" contains the draft business start-ups and instant spices prototypes are intended for people who was busy with their work so they can’t spare some amount of time to cook. This business start-up draft was made because the community needed a way to shorten their cooking time. The purpose of the business design and instant spices is to create a spices that can shorten the cooking time people who have a limited amount of time. Preparation of proposals will be based on the survey.

Abstract

Most design companies requires a rather expensive budget to design a brand and it also does not have transparent work structure. Which most of startup companies do not have a sufficent financial to do so and they also need a transparent work structure to inform them how will their design will be made. Thus, the purpose of this study is to form a business that is able to answer those needs. By using a qualitative research methods, which is interviewing two startup business owners. The result is to form a design company with a clear pricing structure and clear SOPs.

Abstract

This design is made in order to make a brand activation and promotional media for Ourstories wedding invitation apps. Ourstories is a business that works in the field of wedding invitation based on digital apps, so it requires the brand activation and promotion of the right media so it can be recognized by the target market of Ourstories. Brand activation strategies undertaken by Ourstories is following a wedding exhibition and event promotion through social media.

Abstract

The activity of buying “oleh-oleh” or food souvenir has become a strong Indonesian culture, regardless of someone’s social economic status. However, due to the fact that almost all food souvenir products look similar, along with the increasing activity of urban population, this activity has turned into something rather dull and meaningless. Based on this fact, comes an idea to utilize an original recipe for crispy fried shrimp to be a food souvenir product that appeals to Indonesia’s urban population who fall under the upper-middle and lower-middle class, particularly those who travels regularly. This research was conducted to understand customers’ response to Ebisiji crispy fried shrimp and “sambal bawang”, along with their response related to the activity of buying “oleh-oleh”. The process consists of several phase, including observation, interview, questionnaire, production test, market test, and collecting feedback. All data are obtained through field studies (primary) and literature reviews (secondary), by applying both quantitative and qualitative research method. The researcher then concludes that by making some adaptive changes into the business model, Ebisiji can become a viable solution for the problem stated above.
