Abstract

This community service activity was conducted in response to the low level of students' ability at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities to write research proposals in accordance with academic standards. The main problems encountered include difficulties in formulating research problems, developing a systematic research background, selecting appropriate research titles, and understanding the format and structure of research proposals. The objective of this activity was to improve students' understanding and skills in writing well-structured, logical, and academically sound research proposals. The method employed was an interactive workshop that combined theoretical explanations and hands-on practice, including training in problem formulation using the 5W+1H approach, background writing grounded in theory and data, strategies for selecting relevant research titles, and a comprehensive understanding of the research proposal structure. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants' understanding and ability to develop the main components of a research proposal, as demonstrated by the preparation of individual proposal drafts. Furthermore, the high level of participants' enthusiasm and engagement throughout the activity suggests that the training method was effective and aligned with students' needs.

Abstract

Financial ratio analysis in financial statements is useful for evaluating the effectiveness of the regional autonomy system. This study is a descriptive quantitative research. The research subject is the Klaten Regency Government, while the object of research is the Realization Report and the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget for the 2019-2022 period. Based on the analysis of the financial performance of the Klaten Regency government during the 2019-2022 budget period, it can be seen that the effectiveness ratio is very high, however, there are several indicators that show imbalances in financial management. One of them is the low activity ratio, which shows that more expenditure is allocated for operations than for capital investment. In addition, the very low independence ratio is also a concern, indicating that dependence on external resources is very high. To overcome this problem, concrete steps need to be taken including revenue diversification, improving financial management, spending efficiency, infrastructure development, human resources and strengthening the supervisory system in an effort to improve financial performance and sustainable development in Klaten Regency. The implications of the research highlight the need for budget policy reformulation and the strengthening of PAD management to enhance regional financial independence.

Abstract

Kabupaten Klaten memiliki potensi besar di bidang pertanian dan peternakan dengan ketersediaan bahan pangan lokal yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi produk kuliner sehat dan bernilai ekonomi. Namun, remaja LKSA Aisyiyah Klaten masih menghadapi keterbatasan pengetahuan kewirausahaan, keterampilan produksi, manajemen usaha, serta pemasaran produk. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan kewirausahaan remaja melalui pelatihan kewirausahaan dan pendampingan pengelolaan produk spring roll sehat. Metode kegiatan meliputi pendampingan kewirausahaan, pencatatan keuangan sederhana, praktik produksi kuliner sehat, pengemasan dan branding produk, serta pemasaran. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test terhadap 28 peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan total skor dari 653 menjadi 718 atau naik sebesar 65 poin. Peningkatan terbesar terjadi pada aspek manajemen usaha, diikuti oleh produksi kuliner sehat dan pemasaran produk. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik langsung mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta secara signifikan. Secara keseluruhan, program ini efektif memperkuat kapasitas kewirausahaan remaja LKSA Aisyiyah Klaten, sekaligus menjadi langkah awal dalam mendorong kemandirian ekonomi melalui pengembangan usaha kuliner sehat.

Abstract

Financial issues are an important aspect of individual and community life as part of the mechanism for survival. There is still a lack of understanding and knowledge among teenagers, especially students, in managing their personal finances, as well as in organizing themselves and making good financial plans. The preparation stage begins with the service team visiting partners for observation. The service method consists of preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results show a significant increase in students' understanding of good pocket money management, indicating that they now understand the importance of saving. There is also an improvement in their ability to create simple bookkeeping, allowing students to track their pocket money and financial inflows and outflows. Observations during the activities revealed that students were very enthusiastic and actively participated in every session. This program significantly enhanced students' understanding of basic financial literacy concepts and successfully encouraged positive changes in their attitudes and behaviors toward financial management.

Abstract

The urgency of this research lies in the importance of ensuring that digital marketing training programs are truly effective in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs. Although digitalization has great potential to expand market reach and improve business efficiency, many MSMEs still face obstacles such as low digital literacy, limited resources, and restricted access to quality training. This research aims to analyze the extent to which digital marketing training contributes to improving the marketing and sales performance of MSMEs.The results of this research conclude that digital marketing training has a significant impact, both directly and indirectly, on enhancing the marketing and sales capabilities of MSMEs. This shows that the more intensive and higher-quality digital training received, the greater the competitiveness of MSMEs in marketing their products. However, the digital transformation of MSMEs cannot rely solely on individual initiatives; the government’s role as a facilitator is also crucial

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat "Inovasi Edukasi SEGARATA" bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga di Kabupaten Klaten melalui integrasi edukasi gizi seimbang dan pengelolaan keuangan. Latar belakang program ini didasarkan pada tantangan gizi ganda, seperti stunting (14,7%), anemia pada ibu hamil (46,2%) dan remaja putri (30,4%), serta obesitas (21,3%), yang diperparah oleh rendahnya literasi keuangan (hanya 38,6% keluarga merencanakan anggaran pangan sehat). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi empat tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan (edukasi dan pelatihan), evaluasi, dan penyusunan luaran (booklet "SEGARATA" dan artikel ilmiah). Kegiatan ini melibatkan 35 peserta, sebagian besar ibu rumah tangga berusia 46–55 tahun dengan penghasilan Rp 2–5 juta/bulan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan gizi seimbang (mean difference -1,343; p-value 0,000), keterampilan menyusun menu (mean difference -4,286; p-value 0,000), dan pemahaman pengelolaan anggaran (mean difference +7,914; p-value 0,000). Selain itu, 80% peserta mampu menyusun menu sehat, 70% mengidentifikasi makanan kaya zat besi, dan 50% keluarga mulai merencanakan anggaran pangan. Pendekatan partisipatif melalui diskusi dan praktik langsung terbukti efektif dalam mengubah sikap dan perilaku. Program ini juga mendorong pemanfaatan pangan lokal, dengan peningkatan konsumsi sebesar 25%. Dampak program mencakup peningkatan ketahanan pangan keluarga dan kesejahteraan melalui pemberdayaan berbasis edukasi. Booklet "SEGARATA" yang terdaftar sebagai HKI menjadi media berkelanjutan untuk penyebaran informasi. Kesimpulannya, integrasi gizi dan literasi keuangan dalam program SEGARATA berhasil menciptakan perubahan perilaku yang berkelanjutan, relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat berpenghasilan menengah ke bawah. Rekomendasi untuk pengembangan selanjutnya adalah perluasan cakupan peserta dan pendampingan jangka panjang.Kata kunci: gizi seimbang, literasi keuangan, ketahanan pangan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, Kabupaten Klaten.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of regional fiscal independence, which is reflected in the ability of local governments to manage Regional Original Revenue (PAD). Klaten Regency has considerable economic potential; however, the contribution of PAD to total regional revenue remains relatively low. This study aims to analyze the development, structure, and management performance of PAD in Klaten Regency. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach employing time series data from 2020 to 2024, analyzed using effectiveness, efficiency, and independence ratios. The results show that PAD in Klaten Regency tends to increase but remains fluctuating and therefore not yet stable. The structure of PAD has shifted from the dominance of other legitimate revenues toward local taxes and retributions, although this change has not been consistent. In terms of performance, PAD is considered effective as its realization consistently exceeds the target; however, it is not yet efficient because regional expenditures are significantly higher than PAD. In addition, the level of regional financial independence is still very low, indicating a high dependence on central government transfers. In conclusion, the increase in PAD has not been accompanied by optimal management quality. Therefore, efforts are needed to strengthen a more stable revenue structure, improve management efficiency, and reduce dependence on external revenue sources in order to enhance regional fiscal independence.
