Abstract

This study employed advanced sentiment analysis techniques on extensive social media datasets to examine the social and emotional impact of tourism, with a focus on the Indonesian context. The research provided nuanced insights into the complex interplay between tourism experiences and digital narratives by delving into sentiment variations and identifying prevalent emotional factors within online discourse. The study aimed to understand the evolving role of social media in shaping travel trends and explored the broader implications of tourism on societal dynamics and individual wellbeing. Findings from this research contributed to a comprehensive understanding of sentiments across diverse destinations, offering valuable insights for stakeholders in the tourism sector. For instance, positive sentiments dominated the discourse, comprising 68% of overall reactions, indicating a robust enthusiasm for Indonesia's tourism experiences. Negative sentiments accounted for 22%, signaling areas of concern or dissatisfaction, while the remaining 10% encompassed neutral sentiments, reflecting objective discussions. Additionally, the study discussed implications for tourism policy development, emphasizing the need for strategies that balance economic benefits with social and environmental considerations. By bridging quantitative and qualitative perspectives, this research aimed to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning within the dynamic landscape of the tourism industry, fostering sustainable practices and positive societal impacts.

Socially, the study delves into the challenges posed by inter-community reconciliation, shifts in national identity, and the broader influence of the conflict on social well-being. The findings of this analysis reveal emerging trends and patterns, offering a nuanced understanding of the complex post-conflict dynamics. The implications for future policies and actions are highlighted, emphasizing the imperative for nuanced governance structures that consider historical contexts and prioritize inclusive decision-making processes. Economically, the study underscores the importance of policies prioritizing sustainable development and equitable resource distribution to foster lasting recovery. Socially, addressing challenges related to inter-community understanding and navigating shifts in national identity are identified as pivotal for building a cohesive society post-conflict. By drawing on a diverse range of scholarly literature and empirical evidence, the study uncovers the historical roots, evolution, and contemporary manifestations of populism in Indonesia. Focusing on electoral strategies, the study investigates the tactics employed by populist movements to mobilize support and shape electoral outcomes. It explores the role of charismatic leadership, emotional appeals, simplified messaging, mass rallies, and social media campaigns in galvanizing public sentiment and garnering political backing. Additionally, the research scrutinizes the profiles of key political figures, such as Joko Widodo and Prabowo Subianto, to elucidate the contrasting leadership styles and policy priorities that define Indonesian populism. Furthermore, the study examines the societal implications of populist mobilization, including its effects on democratic institutions, societal fragmentation, and long-term governance challenges. Abstract

The flow of labor migration indicates low employment opportunities in the country, thus encouraging them to trade in neighboring countries, which offer market opportunities that are more promising for prosperity. In this context, cross-border migration in border areas is seen as positive because it can reduce the problem of unemployment in the country and can improve the economic life of the community. Encourage increased productivity and innovation. Another thing that can happen to cross- border migration is that migration can create competition in the workforce. Workers may compete with the local workforce for low- paying jobs, this can result in pressure on wages and working conditions. The research was carried out using the literature study method. A literature review was used to collect data and information regarding the influence of cross-border migration on the labor market in border areas. This research discusses the definition of cross-border migration, the different styles and types of cross-border migration, the influence of cross-border migration on the labor market, and the factors that influence cross-border migration.

Abstract

Border territories have strategic values in supporting the success of national development. One effort to improve the economy of border region communities is through empowering micro, small and medium businesses so as to encourage economic growth. Information technology introduces new opportunities and problems that are distinct from traditional approaches, changing the way business is conducted. One of the primary pillars supporting the modern civilization's progress is information technology, which has to be able to benefit the larger community. Border regions are increasingly being the focus of development efforts across all domains in the context of fair development. The research was carried out using the literature study method. This research discusses the definition of information technology and border areas, the relationship between information technology and economic growth, the concept of economic growth in border areas, the concept of the use of information technology to encourage economic growth, the relationship between economic growth in border areas and the use of information technology, and research implications for policy development.
