Abstract

Crisis communication is a key component of effective disaster management. This research reviews the literature related to crisis communication strategies and evaluates case studies of crisis communication in various disaster contexts. Based on the literature review, it was found that responsiveness, information accuracy, and appropriate choice of communication channels are the main pillars that support communication effectiveness in emergency situations. The application of information and communication technology, including social media, is now an integral part of delivering early warnings and evacuation instructions to the public. The analysis shows that the speed of early warning and post-disaster information delivery has a major impact on mitigating losses and accelerating the recovery process. Clarity, consistency and transparency of messages are known to increase public trust, encourage compliance with emergency instructions and reduce the risk of misinformation spreading. Two-way communication, which allows for community feedback, also plays an important role in evaluating and improving disaster management resources. Lessons learned from the case analysis show the importance of building communication capacity before a disaster strikes to improve community preparedness. Proactive education and training programs can help build community resilience before a disaster, as well as enable more informed decision-making when a crisis occurs. Such initiatives make crisis communication not only a reactive measure but also part of sustainable disaster mitigation efforts. This research provides recommendations for the development of a more integrated crisis communication strategy, adapting to the latest developments in informative technology, which is expected to strengthen disaster management in the future.

Abstract

In the face of the global mental health challenge, technological innovation, mainly through mobile applications, offers wide potential to support mental health monitoring and interventions. With the increasing prevalence of mental health problems and limited access to conventional mental health services, mobile apps have emerged as important tools to provide easily accessible, timely, and personalised support. Research and development in this field has leveraged advances in artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), wearable technologies, and predictive analysis to create innovative mental health solutions. This mobile application is designed not only for passive monitoring but also for active interventions that can improve the user's psychological well-being. This article examines various aspects of mobile application innovation in mental health, including chatbot-based therapy, immersive therapy with VR/AR, mental health monitoring with wearable technology, integration of health systems for coordinated support, and the importance of considering ethical as well as privacy aspects. By discussing recent and future potential mobile applications in mental health, the study aims to show how mobile technology can play a key role in addressing mental health challenges and improving the accessibility and effectiveness of mental health support.

Abstract

Public administration policies have a significant influence on a country's economic development. Through various regulations, programmes, and resource allocations, the government can shape the enabling or constraining environment for economic growth. Effective policies can encourage investment, increase productivity, and create jobs. Conversely, inappropriate policies can create bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the economy. The success of economic development largely depends on the government's ability to formulate and implement policies that are responsive to the needs of society and the dynamics of the global economy. Therefore, an in-depth understanding of the impact of state administrative policies on economic development is crucial for policy makers and other stakeholders in an effort to achieve sustainable economic growth and community welfare.

Abstract

Strategic infrastructure development is a key component in driving economic growth and creating jobs in a country. Infrastructure such as roads, harbours, airports and telecommunication networks not only facilitate the movement of goods and services, but also attract investment and encourage the development of various economic sectors. In addition, the process of infrastructure development itself creates direct and indirect employment. However, the success of infrastructure development depends on careful planning, effective implementation and sustainable management. With the right approach, strategic infrastructure development can be a powerful catalyst for achieving economic prosperity and creating sustainable employment opportunities.

Abstract

The creative economy is an economic sector that generates value through intellectual creation and innovation. It encompasses a range of economic activities related to the creation, production, and distribution of goods and services based on knowledge and creativity. The creative economy empowers individuals by prioritising talents, skills, and creative ideas that contribute to job creation, economic growth, and social and cultural development. The research method conducted in this study is the literature research method. The results show that creative economy empowerment can be done through three main strategies: education and training oriented towards creativity and innovation; development of infrastructure and ecosystems that support synergies between creative economy actors; and utilisation of technology and digital platforms to expand market access. Moreover, a sustainable development model in the creative economy must incorporate elements of economic, social and environmental sustainability. This research reinforces the understanding that the creative economy must be managed with strategies that include sustainable development principles to realise wider benefits for society and the environment.

Abstract

Community participation in the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is essential to support the sustainability of the village. There are situations, where local government, civil society, academia and businesses interact systematically so that effective support is available for the purpose of MSMEs. They include training, consulting, technology, and market access. All these are targeted at increasing the ability of the MSMEs to expand and develop sustainably. Through this, interlinking horizontal structures amongst the MSMEs can be established creating positive impact on the economy of the village. There is always efficiency that exists when working in partnership within the MSMEs and they improve competitiveness. In addition, this partnership also creates chances for the MSMEs to enhance the local market with more qualified products which can become local landmarks and also attract shoppers within the region and beyond. The collaboration promotes a spirit of business cooperation among businesspersons and helps son comprehensiveness in business practice. They allow MSMEs to assist each other and pool resources, which is crucial for weathering economic storms. As observed in the intervention through the community collaboration in this service strategy, there are great positive long term benefits particularly in instilling mental independence and sustainability of the villages. Such participation also enhances or fosters a sense of belonging to and the drive to develop the village among its inhabitants and builds a coherent social structure. All necessary economic, social and cultural resources are available to a village, enabling it not only to subsist but also to prosper and adjust to global changes and this making the essence of community participation an important strategy for development.
