Abstract

This study aimed to find out the self-confidence difference between the active and inactive students scout. This was a comparative study with 100 samples taken by using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is a self-confidence questionnaire. This study employed independent sample t-test to analyze the data. The result of this study showed that the difference of self-confidence on active and inactive student scout in SMPN 5 Kota Jambi through t count was 3,868 > t table 2,022. In other words, there was a difference of self-confidence on the students who actively participated in Scout and those who did not. The result of this study is recommended for the school counselor to assist the students with low self-confidence.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menyusun Skala Sikap terhadap pelajaran Praktis yang memenuhui proprertis psikometris yang baik: valid, reliabel, praktis, terstandardisasi dan bermanfaat. Skala terdiri dari pelajaran Seni Budaya, Muatan Lokal, Olahraga, dan Teknologi Informasi dan Komputer. Sikap meggunakan teori Charles Osgood, terdiri dari komponen: potensi, aktivitas, evaluasi. Skala menggunakan teknik penskalaan semantif differensial dengan kontinum 1-7. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan total subjek N=694 terdiri dari siswa SMA dan mahasiswa. Uji kecocokan model menghasilkan KMO > 0,900 dan BTS dengan LOS 0,000 sehingga data layak untuk analisis faktor. Hasil analisis faktor konfirmatori dengan metode varimaks mengkonfirmasi ketiga faktor pembentuk alat ukur tersebut. Aitem final skala menggunakan aitem dengan muatan faktor > 0,700 yang terdiri dari tiga aitem setiap sub skala. Skala dibuat dalam dua bentuk; utama dan paralel; dimana ujian Mean (M), varians (S²) dan korelasi (rxy) menghasilkan koefisien yang setara. Uji reliabilitas tes paralel menghasilkan koefisien ekivalensi рxx’’ >0,75. Skala menggunakan norma kriteria dengan lima klasifikasi. Skala dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran, evaluasi, uji kriteria alat ukur lain, peminatan SMA dan penjurusan kuliah. Skala tersebut memiliki validitas faktorial yang sangat memuaskan, reliabilitas yang baik, jumlah aitem yang sedikit, norma yang jelas, serta dapat digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan. Penelitian berikutnya melakukan uji validitas dengan berbagai kriteria untuk mendukung validitas konstrak.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract PMTS (HIV-AIDS Prevention Program through Sexual Transmission) is a program of HIV-AIDS prevention which was initiated by the National AIDS Commission (KPAN), its aim is to do HIV prevention comprehensively, interactively and effectively on the key population which is female sex workers, however, as it is known that the purpose of this program has not been reached. The research objective was to evaluate HIV-AIDS prevention program through sexual transmittion among female sex workers at Gang Laler Kemayoran Central Jakarta 2014.The research is using cualitative method, data assessment method is found through deep interview and document review, data validation is using triangulate sourch, data and method. The reseach show thatlack of coordination, lack of funds, facilities and infrastructure have become the reason whythe goal PMTS program cannot be achieved yet, marked with dysfunctional Location Working Unit. Location Working Unit is one key to success that can run the entire activities, so the suggestions of this research are to improve the coordination of KPAK with LSM/NGO, SKPD, Location Working in a form of routine meetings, to allocate the routine funds for Location Working Unit and the entire activities, as well as providing facilities and infrastructure to support the activities.   Keywords: HIV AIDS, PMTS, Program Evaluation

Abstract

INTRODUCTION Risk behaviors are behaviors associated with health problems. The health problems including infectious diseases, HIV problem even AIDS, chronic diseases, psychosomatic disorder, substance addiction, use of illegal drugs, drinking, and psychological disorders. Protective and risk factors is an ability that is expected to be owned by everyone. METHOD This study aims to difference of protective and risk factors based school. The study population was taken with purposive random sampling technique, the characteristics of which students (including smokers, active sexual behavior, drug users) aged 12-21 years. The sample of this research were 518 responden. Analysis of the data will be used using varians analysis. RESULTS Results showed a difference between protective and risk factors based home school students with a p-value of 0.012. Junior high school students do not have a difference of protective and risk factors than high school students with a p-value 0.0947 , and junior high school students have a difference of protective and risk factors with vocational students with p value 0.022 . Junior high school students have a protective and risk factors a higher risk than vocational students . High school students have a difference of protective and risk factors with vocational students with p value 0.039 . High school students have the protective and risk factors a higher risk than vocational students . Vocational students have protective and risk factors is lower than high school students. CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS Risk behavior has become a part of student life. Institutions in order to cooperate with relevant parties in structuring the activities in a sustainable manner in reducing risk behaviors in students. By conducting the preparation of the intervention module for dealing with problems in the risk behavior of students is expected to be a solution to reduce the number of occurrence of risk behavior.

Abstract

INTRODUCTION Risk behaviors are among student has been a problem in the field of health. The risk behavior including sexual behavior, smoking, drug abuse, bullying. METHOD This study aims to determine how many risk behaviors that had occured and other forms of risk behavior anything ever done by students. The study population was taken with purposive random sampling technique, the characteristics of which students (including smokers, active sexual behavior, drug users) aged 12-21 years. The sample of this research were 518 responden. Analysis of the data will be used using descriptive analysis. RESULTS The research findings show risk behavior has occurred in the school environment. Sexual behavior such as dating, holding hands, hugging, cheek and lips kissing, rubbing breasts and genitals, oral sex, sexual intercourse is a form existiong in student life. Resources porn more easily accessible for students, such as the internet, mobile phones/ gadgets, and peer group. Drug abuse and smoking occurs due to peer preasure. The elementary school is the first time students smoking and drug abuse. The incidence of risk behavior are more prevalent in the home and schools, because of the lack of parental supervision and the environment. CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS Risk behavior has become a part of student life. Schools and government should work together to develop policies regarding the preparation of healthy school standard based physical and psychological dimensions. Keywords: Risk Behavior, Students

Abstract

INTRODUCTION One of the causes of the decline in the quality of lecturers is because lecturers are busy working outside the campus, and looking for projects in accordance with their fields of expertise. For this reason, it is important to describe how employee engagement, which is an emotionally and intellectually positive attitude of an employee who are fully aware of his attachment to his work or duties and are loyal and committed to the institution for which he works. METHOD This study uses a quantitative method through cross-sectional approach through a survey method which aims to determine the description of Employee Engagement of Jambi University’s Lecturers. The research population was 102 lecturers of Jambi University consisting of 11 Faculties, with inclusion criteria of permanent lecturers and non PNS lecturers (contract lecturers). The technique used is Purposive sampling. The data collection tool is the scale of Employee Engagement. The study was conducted from February to August 2018 at Jambi University. The analysis used is regression analysis and variance analysis. RESULTS This study concludes that employee engagement compared between age groups, years of service, academic positions, ethnicity, and marital status is the same. CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS There are no differences in employee engagement based on the above categories. More specifically, there is no difference in employee engagement between males and females. Employee engagement is also equal based on the last education category where there is no difference between master and PhD graduates. Likewise, there is also no difference in employee engagement between Civil Servants (PNS) lecturers and Non PNS lecturers. Kata Kunci: Employee engangement, UNJA

Abstract

The Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic was first known to have appeared in Wuhan City, China in December 2019 and was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 12 2020. This virus has spread very quickly to several countries in the world, including Indonesia where the Covid-19 pandemic has been designated as a type of disease that causes a Public Health Emergency on March 31 2020. With this determination, mitigation efforts must be carried out in accordance with statutory regulations in emergency response period for handling Covid-19. Tourist attractions have the potential to become a locus for the spread of COVID-19 if there is a gathering of visitors while traveling, causing the need for health protocols in carrying out activities at that location. This research uses qualitative research which aims to gather information about the compliance of people at tourist attractions with the health protocols implemented in Jambi City. The results of this research show that the implementation of the health protocol, namely 5M (wearing a mask, washing hands, maintaining distance, staying away from crowds and reducing mobility) is carried out well and is carried out directly by the government and tourist attraction owners through CHSE (Clean Health Safety and Environment). And the community has good knowledge, attitudes and behavior in complying with the health protocols implemented. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of health protocols at various tourist attractions in Jambi City has gone well with supervision carried out by the government and tourist owners.

Abstract

Di era digitalisasi, gawai memegang peran penting dalam membantu manusia di berbagai aspek kehidupannya. Hampir setiap kalangan tidak lepas dalam penggunaan gawai termasuk anak-anak. Penggunaan gawai di satu sisi memberi dampak positif tetapi juga menjadi tantangan produktivitas pada anak. Seringkali anak menggunakan gawai untuk fungsi tertentu saja seperti hiburan dan kurang membatasi waktu. Sehingga masalah adiksi gawai seringkali ditemui pada anak-anak. Bila dibiarkan maka akan berdampak pada motorik dan kepekaan anak dalam berinteraksi di situasi sosial ke depan. Oleh karena itu perlu penanganan berupa pemahaman pada anak dan pengalihan aktivitas lain yang lebih positif. Salah satunya dengan memberikan psikoedukasi melalui permainan. Tujuan kegiatan adalah memberikan psikoedukasi melalui permainan untuk mencegah adiksi gawai pada anak pra sekolah. Kegiatan psikoedukasi dilakukan pada 50 siswa di TK An Nahl Percikan Iman Jambi. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan ceramah interaktif dan permainan tradisional. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dengan metode checklist didapatkan evaluasi berdasarkan pengetahuan dan reaksi siswa terhadap permainan tradisional. Berdasarkan pengetahuan diketahui siswa memiliki pemahaman tentang gawai berdasarkan aspek waktu ideal menggunakan gawai dan dampak penggunaan gawai. Berdasarkan evaluasi reaksi terhadap permainan tradisional, siswa merasakan reaksi emosi senang, semangat dan interaktif. Sehingga kegiatan psikoedukasi melalui media permainan tradisional ini dapat menjadi alternatif upaya dalam mencegah adiksi gawai pada anak.
