Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of E-Wallet, Credit Cards and Spending Behavior on Student Consumption Levels at Islamic University North Sumatra Country. The studyare primary data by distributing questionnaires taken from UINSU students with a sample size of 100 people. The sampling technique used in this study is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling type, then the data is processed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study stated that E-Wallet and Spending Behavior partially has a positive and significant effect on level consumption. That is, an increase in E- Wallet and Spending Behavior will also increase consumption spending significantly. While credit cards do not have a positive effect and significantly to the level of student consumption.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze how labor absorption is influenced by variables from the tourism industry in hotels such as the number of tourists, number of hotel rooms and wage levels in the tourism industry sector in Medan City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research that uses secondary data with the data source coming from the Medan City Central Statistics Agency. In this research, the time period used ranges from 2017-2021. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis and data processing using the SPSS 25 application. The results of the research state that The variable Number of Tourists has a significant positive influence on labor absorption in the tourism industry in Medan City. The variable number of hotel rooms has a significant positive influence on labor absorption in the tourism industry in Medan City. The wage level variable for working in the tourism sector has a significant positive influence on labor absorption in the tourism industry in Medan City with a significant value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Katobung Waterfall development on the community's microeconomics and regional finances, as well as identify structural constraints to its management in a state forest area. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 12 key informants and field observations. Data analysis employed a modified Moustakas method through the stages of horizontalization and clustering themes using the Common-Pool Resources Theory and Livelihood Framework analysis tools. Field findings indicate that self-help tourism has triggered a diversification of food stall income of Rp150,000 to Rp200,000 every weekend and reduced unemployment through informal transportation services. However, its macro contribution to Regional Original Income (PAD) is zero due to a regulatory void. The local government is hampered in allocating APBD funds for repairs to a 14-kilometer road and sanitation because the location is in a Production Forest area under the auspices of the KPHP. This institutional friction has triggered illegal management, parking conflicts, and garbage accumulation. This research provides a scientific contribution in the form of an antithesis to the classical CBT theory by proving that local control without formal legal certainty and adequate human capital actually traps destinations in the Tragedy of the Commons, thus requiring a Collaborative Sustainable Governance framework.

Abstract

Perkembangan layanan perbankan digital berbasis syariah menuntut adanya evaluasi mengenai faktor-faktor yang memicu minat mahasiswa untuk mengadopsi Bank Jago Syariah. Studi kuantitatif berbasis survei eksplanatori ini mengevaluasi dampak halal lifestyle, persepsi kemudahan, serta persepsi manfaat terhadap kecenderungan mahasiswa FEBI UIN Sumatera Utara dalam memanfaatkan layanan tersebut. Berdasarkan sampel 92 responden yang diambil melalui teknik purposive sampling dan dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS, ditemukan bahwa ketiga faktor tersebut berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh koefisien jalur masing-masing variabel sebesar 0,663 untuk halal lifestyle, 0,401 untuk persepsi kemudahan, dan 0,486 untuk persepsi manfaat. Selain itu, nilai koefisien determinasi R2 sebesar 0,830 mengindikasikan bahwa 83% variabilitas variabel minat pengguna dapat dijelaskan oleh kombinasi ketiga faktor tersebut, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar model. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi antara penerapan prinsip keislaman dan keunggulan fungsional teknologi dalam mendorong partisipasi generasi muda pada ekosistem keuangan digital syariah.
