Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Instagram social media in increasing user awareness and participation of the SUMSEL LRT (Light Rail Transit South Sumatra) service. Instagram has become an important tool in building brand awareness and interacting with audiences. In the transportation industry, LRT SUMSEL also utilizes Instagram as a communication and promotion tool. However, there has not been much in-depth research on the effect of using social media on user awareness and participation of South Sumatra LRT services. This study used qualitative and quantitative approaches to collect data from LRT SUMSEL's official Instagram account and through an online survey to LRT SUMSEL's followers on Instagram. Data analysis involves content analysis, user responses, and interviews with selected users. The results of this study are expected to provide insight into the influence of Instagram social media usage strategies on user awareness and participation in South Sumatra LRT services. With a better understanding of the role of social media in the transportation industry, it is expected to increase the use of South Sumatra LRT services and the quality of public transportation in South Sumatera

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran TikTok sebagai media digital marketing dalam meningkatkan brand awareness UMKM, dengan fokus pada usaha kuliner Bakso Granat Mas Azis Palembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus kualitatif melalui wawancara dengan pemilik, karyawan, dan pelanggan, observasi konten TikTok, serta dokumentasi aktivitas pemasaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TikTok berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan pengenalan merek, daya ingat konsumen, serta interaksi pelanggan, yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja penjualan sekitar 25–30%. Namun, tantangan tetap ada terkait konsistensi produksi konten dan adaptasi terhadap algoritma platform. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa TikTok merupakan media efektif bagi UMKM untuk memperkuat kehadiran merek, serta merekomendasikan penelitian lanjutan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mengukur dampak TikTok secara statistik terhadap kinerja pemasaran digital.

Abstract

Komunitas pembuat layang-layang di Kelurahan 3/4 Ulu, Palembang, menunjukkan potensi besar untuk peningkatan ekonomi melalui pengoptimalan strategi pemasaran digital. Jurnal pengabdian masyarakat ini memfokuskan pada eksplorasi dan penerapan metode untuk meningkatkan pemasaran produk layang-layang melalui platform digital. Menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, studi ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan diskusi kelompok terarah dengan pengrajin layang-layang lokal dan pemimpin komunitas. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pemasaran digital secara signifikan membantu memperluas jangkauan pasar, meningkatkan penjualan, dan meningkatkan visibilitas produk. Namun, hambatan seperti literasi digital yang terbatas dan akses internet yang kurang memadai menghalangi pemanfaatan penuh pemasaran digital di wilayah ini. Studi ini menganjurkan program pelatihan komprehensif dan infrastruktur internet yang lebih baik untuk membantu komunitas memanfaatkan pemasaran digital secara efektif. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya mengintegrasikan alat digital ke dalam kerajinan tradisional untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan keberlanjutan dalam komunitas lokal.

Abstract

Despite sustained regulatory efforts, child marriage remains highly prevalent in Musi Banyuasin Regency, particularly in Lais District, making it a critical context for assessing the effectiveness of child marriage prevention policies. In response to this issue, the Regency Government enacted a regulation aimed at reducing child marriage in Lais District; however, the outcomes of its implementation remain problematic. This study examines the implementation of the child marriage prevention policy in Lais District using a qualitative research design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that policy implementation has not yet been effective, despite the regulation being formally enacted. Key challenges include weak coordination among implementing actors, limited human resource capacity, social resistance, and the persistence of harmful socio-cultural practices. At the same time, positive initiatives have been undertaken by the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), local communities, and village governments through education and socialization programs. Nevertheless, these efforts face significant constraints and have not yet produced substantial change. The study underscores the need for stronger community empowerment and increased public education on the negative consequences of early marriage. This research contributes to the literature on public policy implementation and provides practical insights for policymakers and community stakeholders seeking to strengthen child marriage prevention efforts.
