Abstract

This research is to understand the concept of power in political and democratic theory. This research uses the method, In political theory, the concept of power refers to the ability of a person or group to influence the actions, decisions and behavior of other people. This concept is important in understanding how power is used and distributed in a political system. In political theory, power is understood as the ability to influence the actions and decisions of others, with various approaches, including as a resource or as a social relationship.

Abstract

Tugas Mini Riset Kelompok 4 dari Kelas C PPKn 2022 ini berjudul: Perlindungan Hak Hukum Waris Anak di luar Perkawinan dalam Harta Gono Gini Menurut Hukum Perdata". Mini Riset ini meneliti tentang Bagaimana Kedudukan anak luar perkawinan dalam Pewarisan menurut Kitab Undang- Undang Hukum Perdata. Adapun tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana perlindungan atas hak gono gini seorang anak di luar Perkawinan dalam Kitab Undang-Undang Perdata. Mini Riset ini menggunakan Metode Penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian Hukum Normatif (Empiris). Teknik Pengumpulan data Melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan sumber data yang diambil dari masyarakat untuk mengetahui bagaimana kedudukan seorang anak di luar kawin.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the aspects of political education and their influence on the fulfillment of citizens’ rights in elections at Anugerah Kasih Abadi Orphanage, located in Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. Political education serves as an important means of fostering citizens’ awareness, participation, and capacity to exercise their political rights, including the right to vote in elections. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the orphanage residents, and documentation related to political education activities. The findings indicate that aspects of political education—such as understanding political rights, participation in election simulations, and the provision of information regarding electoral mechanisms—have a significant influence on the residents’ awareness and readiness to participate in democratic processes. Residents who regularly receive political education demonstrate a better understanding of their rights, are able to critically evaluate political candidates and programs, and show greater motivation to participate in elections. In conclusion, effective political education within the orphanage environment can enhance the fulfillment of citizens’ rights, particularly in the context of electoral participation, thereby fostering a politically aware and democratic younger generation. This study recommends strengthening sustainable political education programs in orphanages as part of the development of active and responsible citizens.
