Abstract

This research was a descriptive case study. The purpose of this research was to describe the student’s ability to interpret the kinematics graph. The subjects of the study were 347 students of class XI science in the even semester of 2018/2019 in Luwu Raya, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. The research data were obtained from multiple-choice test results using instruments adapted from Test of Understanding Graph – Kinematics 2.6 and the results of in-depth interviews to find out the reasons learners choose answers and casual factors. The results of the study based on descriptive data analysis were 90 students or 25.94% in the low category, and 257 students or 74.06% were in the very low category. These results indicate the ability to interpret the graphs of students were still low, with the average achievement in answering questions on each of the highest indicators was 20.99 % on indicators identifying graphs based on the description. While the lowest average achievement was11.91%, which is the indicator to identify the graph that has a different variable. Base on the qualitative data analysis, the results are students had difficulties in solving the test, as follows: a) the difficulty in distinguishing symbol of the variables on the graph, b) the difficulty in determining the formula for solving test in graphical form, c) to determine when the curve on the graph v-t decreases then the object will move with speed slowed. The factors causing these difficulties are because students did not understand deeply about how to read graphs, how to solve test in graphical form, and did not understand the formula used to solve the test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis kesulitan belajar fisika siswa kelas X TKJ di salah satu SMK yang ada di Halmahera Barat. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskripsi kualitatif dimana instrumen yang digunakan adalah wawancara, lembar pengamatan, tes hasil belajar dan dokumentasi. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 24 siswa kelas X TKJ dengan 14 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Data dianalisis dengan langkah- langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 24 siswa, terdapat 12 suswa yang tidak tuntas dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Selain itu, kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam belajar fisika antara lain (a) kesulitan memahami materi fisika dimana sering terjadi miskonsepsi, (b) kesulitan memahami persoalan yang diberikan, (c) kesulitan menganalisis soal, (d) kesulita menentukan rumus yang harus digunakan untuk menyelesaikan soal, (e) kesulitan melakukan perhitungan, dan (f) kesulitan melakukan kegiatan imiah seperti praktikum. Penyebab kesulitan belajar pada mata pelajaran fisika adalah siswa kurang fokus memperhatikan guru pada saat kegiatan belajar berlangsung, selain itu penggunaan model, metode dan strategi pembelajaran fisika oleh guru masih monoton dan membuat siswa merasa bosan belajar fisika. Faktor tidak terlaksananya kegiatan praktikum fisika disekolah juga membuat penguasaan konsep dan ketertarikan siswa dalam belajar fisika masih sangat rendah This study aims to analyze the factors that cause difficulties in learning physics in class X TKJ at one of the Vocational Schools in West Halmahera. This research method uses qualitative descriptions where the instruments used are interviews, observation sheets, learning achievement tests and documentation. The sample of this study were 24 students of class X TKJ with 14 male students and 10 female students. The data were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that out of 24 students, there were 12 students who did not complete physics learning to achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). In addition, the difficulties faced by students in learning physics include (a) difficulty understanding physics material where misconceptions often occur, (b) difficulty understanding the problems given, (c) difficulty analyzing questions, (d) difficulty determining the formula to be solved. used to solve problems, (d) difficulties in doing calculations, and (d) difficulties in carrying out scientific activities such as practicum. The cause of learning difficulties in physics subjects is that students pay less attention to the teacher when learning activities take place, besides that the use of models, methods and strategies for learning physics by teachers is still monotonous and makes students feel bored learning physics. The factor of not carrying out physics practicum activities at school also makes concept mastery and students' interest in learning physics still very lows

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning tools with Guided Discovery Model Assisted by Interactive Simulation (GDM-IS) on static fluid concepts. This research uses the 4D development method to produce learning tools but only carries out 3 stages, namely Define, Design and Development. At the development stage, validation is carried out on the GDM-IS learning tools that have been developed which include RPP, Student Worksheets (LKPD), Learning Media. Limited trial using a One Shoot Case Study research design. In this design, the learning instruments that have been developed are used in one class as a sample of 38 students. Data on science process skills was taken through observation by two observers. Based on the analysis of the validation results, the assessment of the RPP, LKPD and media is in a percentage above 80% which is in the valid (good) category.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan antara pemberian tugas dengan prestasi belajar dan hubungan pemberian penguatan dengan prestasi belajar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SD kelas V di SD Gugus IV Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 61 siswa. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling, Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket. Analisis data menggunakan software Statistikal Package for the Social Sciens (SPSS) versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan significant antara pemberian tugas terhadap prestasi belajar (p-value 0,001) dan adanya hubungan signifikan antara pemberian penguatan terhadap prestasi belajar (p-value 0,001). This study aims to describe the relationship between giving assignments and learning achievement of elementary school students in Cluster VI Tallo District, Makassar City and the relationship between giving reinforcement and learning achievement of elementary school students in Cluster VI Tallo District, Makassar City. The research approach used was quantitative approach. The population in this study were fifth grade elementary school students Cluster IV Tallo District Makassar City. The sample of this study amounted to 61 students. The sampling technique used simple random sampling, the instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Data analysis using software Statistical Package for the Social Sciens (SPSS) version 25. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between giving assignments to learning achievement (p-value 0.001) and there was a significant relationship between giving reinforcement to learning achievement (p-value 0.001) of elementary school students in Cluster VI Tallo District, Makassar City.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN di Kecamatan Soreang Kota Parepare, mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN di Kecamatan Soreang Kota Parepare dan mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN di Kecamatan Soreang Kota Parepare. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan expost facto. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD di Kecamatan Soreang Kota Parepare. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini ada 60 siswa.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) emandirian belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN di Kecamatan Soreang Kota Parepare. Hal ini terlihat dari analisis data yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara tingkat kemandirian belajar dengan skor hasil belajar IPA. Besar sumbangan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 35% dan sisanya sebesar 65% disumbang oleh variabel-variabel lain selain kemandirian belajar, (2) motivasi belajar memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN di Kecamatan Soreang Kota Parepare. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat motivasi belajar siswa berhubungan positif dengan tingkat keberhasilan belajar mereka dalam mata pelajaran IPA. Besar sumbangan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 82% dan sisanya sebesar 18% disumbang oleh variabel-variabel lain selain motivasi belajar, (3) kemandirian belajar dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V di SDN di Kecamatan Soreang, Kota Parepare. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saat siswa memiliki kombinasi yang baik antara motivasi belajar dan kemandirian belajar, maka hasil belajar IPA meningkat. Besar sumbangan motivasi dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 82% dan sisanya sebesar 18% disumbang oleh variabel-variabel lain selain motivasi dan kemandirian belajar. Motivasi belajar lebih dominan dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa daripada kemandirian. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar, fokus lebih diberikan pada meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Siswa yang termotivasi cenderung mencapai hasil belajar yang lebih baik dalam mata pelajaran IPA. The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the influence of learning independence on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at elementary schools in Soreang District, Parepare City, (2) to ascertain the influence of learning motivation on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at elementary schools in Soreang District, Parepare City, and (3) to investigate the combined influence of learning independence and learning motivation on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at elementary schools in Soreang District, Parepare City. This research employs a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The population for this study consists of fifth-grade students at elementary schools in Soreang District, Parepare City. The sample size for this study is 60 students. The results of this study indicate that (1) learning independence significantly influences the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at elementary schools in Soreang District, Parepare City. This is evident from the data analysis, which shows a positive relationship between the level of learning independence and the scores of science learning outcomes. The contribution of learning independence to learning outcomes is 35%, while the remaining 65% is contributed by variables other than learning independence. (2) Learning motivation has a significant influence on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at elementary schools in Soreang District, Parepare City. This finding demonstrates that the level of students' learning motivation is positively associated with their success in learning science. The contribution of learning motivation to learning outcomes is 82%, while the remaining 18% is contributed by variables other than learning motivation. (3) Learning independence and learning motivation together influence the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at elementary schools in Soreang District, Parepare City. The results of the study indicate that when students have a good combination of learning motivation and learning independence, their science learning outcomes improve. The contribution of motivation and learning independence to learning outcomes is 82% and the remaining 18% is contributed by other variables besides motivation and learning independence. Learning motivation is more dominant in influencing student learning outcomes than independence. Therefore, to improve learning outcomes, more focus is given to improving student motivation. Motivated students tend to achieve better learning outcomes in science subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gambaran Implementasi Pembelajaran Berbasis CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) dengan Inkuiri Terbimbing dan pengaruh implementasi pembelajaran berbasis CTL dengan Inkuiri Terbimbing dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian quasy experimental design dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Gandangbatu Sillanan pada UPT SDN 9 Gandangbatu Sillanan dan UPT SDN 15 Gandangbatu Sillanan. Populasi  361 dan sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 40 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Sampling Purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes (pre-test, post-test) dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji coba hipotesis (uji t). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada uji t didapatkan nilai t_hitung sebesar 9,622 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini berarti bahwa hipotesis diterima yaitu   implementasi pembelajaran berbasis CTL dengan inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik Kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Gandangbatu Sillanan Kabupaten Tana Toraja. This study aims to analyze the description of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based Learning Implementation  with Guided Inquiry and the effect of CTL-based learning implementation with Guided Inquiry in improving science learning outcomes. This study uses quasy experimental design research using a quantitative approach. This research will be conducted in elementary schools in Gandangbatu Sillanan District at UPT SDN 9 Gandangbatu Sillanan and UPT SDN 15 Gandangbatu Sillanan. The population was 361 and the sample in the study was 40 people. The sampling technique in this study was Purposive Sampling. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, tests (pre-test, post-test) and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing (t test). The results showed that based on the results of the research on the t test, the t_count value was 9.622 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This means that the hypothesis is accepted, namely the implementation of CTL-based learning with guided inquiry can improve the science learning outcomes of Class VI students of Gandangbatu Sillanan Elementary School, Tana Toraja Regency.
