Abstract

ABSTRACT Cauliflower are very useful for humans, and have high economic value, but their production in Central Kalimantan is still low because they are grown on utisol soils with low fertility. Therefore, optimal management is needed in order to produce well. This study aims to determine the response of cauliflower plants to the application of Multi KP compound fertilizer and determine the optimal dose of fertilizer for growth and yield of flower cabbage plants. Using a completely randomized design with 5 treatments, namely the application of Multi KP fertilizer with doses of 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8 g plants. 1 . The results showed that the dose of Multi KP fertilizer was 4 g plant-1, the best growth and yield were obtained, namely the plants were able to grow taller, the number of leaves was more, and the cauliflower weight was 320 g per plant.

Abstract

Eco enzyme is the result of the utilization of fermentation of organic waste remaining fruit and vegetable peels, used as liquid organic fertilizer (POC). The combination of eco enzyme treatment and vermicompost as ameliorant is expected to improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of peat soil as a growing medium for okra plants (Abelmachus esculentus L. Moen). The research analyzed the effectiveness of eco enzyme and vermicompost on root adhering soil and carbon dioxide uptake of okra plants (Abelmachus esculentus L. Moench) grown on histosol. The results of the study showed that the application of POC eco enzyme and vermicompost on histosol had a significant effect on the ability of roots to hold soil (RAS), wet weight, dry weight, biomass (carbon) and carbon dioxide uptake of okra plants. The treatment of POC eco enzyme 60 ml/polybag and vermicompost 84.75 g/polybag is the ideal planting media composition and the best dose. BNJ 5% test V1E1 treatment was significantly different on carbon dioxide absorption compared to V3E3, V2E2 and V0E0 treatments

Abstract

Penyuluhan tentang pembuatan nugget daging ikan gabus dengan penambahan wortel dan jamur tiram, bagi orang tua murid TK Tunas Prestasi dan Kader PKK desa Bukit Liti, Kecamatan Kahayan Tengah Kabupaten Pulang Pisau. Pemanfaatan hasil penangkapan ikan gabus yang melimpah di danau dan sungai di sekitar desa Bukit Liti, mengurangi pengaruh stunting bagi anak usia dini dan dapat memotivasi dan memberi pengetahuan dan ketrampilan untuk ibu-ibu pedesaan mengolah makanan yang bergizi dan variatif bagi anak. Tujuan dan manfaat pengabdian pada masayarakat: Meningkatkan ketrampilan 43 orang tua murid anak usia dini dan 15 orang Kader PKK tentang bagaimana cara mengolah dan memadu komposisi bahan-bahan yang ada di pedesaan untuk membuat makanan siap saji yang ekonomis, dapat disimpan lama, praktis dan bergizi bagi anak dan keluarga, mengatasi kebosanan anak pada menu makanan karena variasi bertambah, sehingga berpengaruh positif pada kesehatan, dan kecerdasan anak. Orang tua murid dan Kader PKK mendapat dorongan dan   motivasi untuk melakukan perubahan dan perbaikan variasi menu keluarga. Manfaat pengabdian pada masyarakat: Sebanyak 43 orang murid TK Tunas Prestasi Desa Bukit Liti akan menerima perbaikan pola asuh dari orang tua terutama pemenuhan makanan bergizi untuk mencegah stunting dan kader 15 orang PKK dapat meneruskan ketrampilan kepada ibu-ibu di pedesaan selain orang tua murid TK; terjadi perbaikan gizi anak, yang berpengaruh positif meningkatkan kesehatan dan kecerdasan  anak, sehingga semakin memudahkan pembelajaran dan stimulasi pada anak. Berdasarkan data hasil uji hedonik terhadap tingkat kesukaan terhadap warna, aroma dan rasa nugget daging ikan gabus, menunjukan bahwa 91% panelis menyatakan sangat suka, 9% suka dan tidak ada panelis yang menyatakan  tidak suka. Presentasi tingkat kesukaan terhadap produk nugget tersebut menunjukan bahwa peserta penyuluhan dan anak-anak TK Tunas Prestasi sangat menyukai nugget ikan gabus yang ditambah dengan sayuran  wortel dan jamur tiram serta bahan-bahan lainnya seperti telor dan susu.

Abstract

Counseling on making nutritious chicken nugget food with the addition of carrots, oyster mushrooms, and milk to prevent stunting in early childhood in Balukon Village, Kahanyan Tengah District, Pulang Pisau Regency, was carried out in September 2024. The activity method was lectures and demonstrations. The benefits of the activity were that Bajewung Kindergarten students in Balukon Village received improved parenting patterns from their parents, especially the provision of nutritious food to prevent stunting for: 23 parents of Bajewung Kindergarten students, 6 Kindergarten teachers, and 13 PKK cadres could pass on skills to mothers in rural areas other than parents of Kindergarten students; There was an improvement in children's nutrition, which had a positive effect on improving children's health and intelligence, thus facilitating learning and stimulation in children. The results of the hedonic test on the level of preference for the color, aroma, and taste of the nuggets showed that 95% of panelists stated that they really liked it, 5% liked it and no panelists stated that they did not like it. The presentation of the level of preference for the nugget product showed that the counseling participants and the Bajewung Kindergarten children really liked chicken nuggets added with carrots, oyster mushrooms, eggs, and milk.
