Abstract

The aim of this research is to find a strategy for developing Cheap Grocery Stall MSMEs on Jalan Tuamang, Medan City, which is effective in increasing sales and business sustainability. Thus, it is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of MSMEs in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analytical approach at the Cheap Grocery Stall on Jalan Tuamang, Medan City, there are several data collection and analysis techniques used to dig up in-depth information. This research shows that the Cheap Grocery Stall on Jalan Tuamang has succeeded in developing a mature strategy to face challenges and take advantage of opportunities in operating its business. One of the main findings of this research is the use of effective marketing strategies, such as promotion via social media and word of mouth marketing, which successfully attracts customer attention. Apart from that, this shop maintains price competitiveness while maintaining a reasonable profit margin.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the multidimensional legal aspects in business feasibility studies, focusing on the juridical review, licensing procedures, establishment, and legality of business entities, and their implications for business sustainability and economic growth in Indonesia. The legal framework plays a critical role in ensuring that businesses operate within the bounds of the law, providing protection and opportunities for growth, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Through qualitative methods and library research, this study analyzes various regulations, including Law No. 40/2007 on Limited Liability Companies, Law No. 25/1992 on Cooperatives, and the implementation of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. The findings reveal that businesses that comply with legal requirements have better access to financial resources, legal protection, and market opportunities. However, the complex bureaucracy in licensing and business formation remains a significant challenge. This research provides practical recommendations for simplifying regulations and enhancing legal understanding among business owners to foster a more conducive and sustainable business environment in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran bank dalam meningkatkan inklusi keuangan di Indonesia, khususnya pasca krisis global 2008 hingga saat ini. Inklusi keuangan menjadi strategi penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi nasional, terutama untuk menjangkau kelompok masyarakat unbanked yang berada di wilayah terpencil, berpendapatan rendah, dan kurang akses terhadap layanan keuangan formal. Bank sebagai lembaga intermediasi keuangan memiliki peran strategis dalam menyalurkan pembiayaan, menyediakan sarana tabungan, serta mendorong pertumbuhan sektor riil melalui akses permodalan. Selain itu, kemajuan teknologi dan hadirnya layanan perbankan digital serta kolaborasi dengan fintech menjadi inovasi kunci dalam memperluas cakupan inklusi keuangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur dan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bank telah melakukan berbagai transformasi dalam menghadirkan layanan keuangan yang lebih inklusif dan mudah dijangkau. Namun, tantangan seperti rendahnya literasi keuangan dan keterbatasan infrastruktur digital masih menjadi hambatan utama yang harus diatasi secara kolaboratif antara pemerintah, industri perbankan, dan masyarakat.  Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi digital seperti mobile banking, internet banking, dan layanan tanpa kantor (branchless banking) telah berhasil menjangkau kelompok masyarakat yang sebelumnya tidak terlayani. Namun, tantangan seperti rendahnya literasi keuangan dan keterbatasan infrastruktur masih perlu diatasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kolaborasi antara bank, pemerintah, dan sektor swasta untuk menciptakan ekosistem keuangan yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the impact of both objective and perceived financial knowledge on high-risk credit behaviors among accounting students in Surabaya, with confidence in managing finances serving as a mediator. Utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Squares (PLS) for data analysis, the research collected data from 100 accounting students in Surabaya who use pay later services, selected through purposive sampling. The results indicate that objective financial knowledge significantly influences confidence in managing finances, which subsequently has a significant effect on high-risk credit behaviors. However, objective financial knowledge does not have a direct impact on high-risk credit behaviors, and perceived financial knowledge does not influence either high-risk credit behaviors or confidence in managing finances. Additionally, confidence in managing finances does not mediate the relationship between either type of financial literacy and high-risk credit behaviors. This study underscores the importance of enhancing financial knowledge and self-confidence among accounting students to curb high-risk credit behaviors. The findings offer valuable insights for future research in this area and contribute to the development of theories related to planned behavior, financial knowledge, and confidence in managing finances in mitigating high-risk credit behaviors, particularly with the increasing use of pay later credit options.

Abstract

Students' learning motivation for mathematics subjects on fractions tends to be low, which has an impact on student learning outcomes in class. Based on a survey at SDN Cibabat 4, there were students who were less interested in mathematics because it was considered difficult and unpleasant, so it is important to find ways that can increase students' learning motivation. This study aims to measure the learning motivation of mathematics on fractions of grade IV students at SDN Cibabat 4 using the interactive learning media PhET Interactive Simulation. The method used is descriptive quantitative, with collection through a questionnaire that includes six indicators of learning motivation. The subjects of this study were 27 grade IV students. The results of this study indicate that the use of PhET Interactive Simulations media significantly increases students' learning motivation, with an average percentage of motivation reaching 85.97% which is included in the "Very Good" category. These results indicate that PhET Interactive Simulation media is able to create more interactive and interesting learning, so that it can increase student motivation and involvement in learning mathematics on fractions.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of product innovation and service innovation on the saving interest of the millennial generation at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Cemara Asri, Medan. The scope of the study focuses on millennial customers who are the primary target of Islamic banking services. This is a quantitative research using an associative approach. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 21. The results showed that partially, product innovation had a significant effect on saving interest, as did service innovation, which positively contributes to increasing customer interest. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 71.9% indicates that product and service innovation variables simultaneously explain the variability in saving interest. The conclusion of this study is that innovative strategies implemented by Islamic banks, both in terms of product development and digital service enhancement, significantly influence millennials' saving interest. These findings imply that Islamic banks need to continuously strengthen innovation elements to maintain and improve millennial customer loyalty in today’s digital era.
