Abstract

Banyaknya anak-anak sekarang yang kurang sekali memperhatikan kesehatan gigi dan mulut mereka tanpa bimbingan dari orangtua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor keturunan, lingkungan, perilaku dan pelayanan kesehatan yang mempengaruhi kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada anak usia 7-9 tahun di Desa Seuneubok Aceh Kecamatan Peusangan. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada tanggal 26 September 2023 s/d 2 Oktober 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan metode survey. Teknik analisa yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan program SPSS 20, untuk melihat kesehatan gigi dan mulut peneliti membagikan kuesioner kepada orang tua anak. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan dengan rumus regresi linier berganda diperoleh nilai probabilitas (P) nilai signifikasinya 1,000 > 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak artinya terdapat faktor keturunan, lingkungan, perilaku, dan pelayanan kesehatan dalam mempengaruhi kesehatan gigi dan mulut pengaruhnya yang paling besar adalah variabel perilaku (7,13%) diikuti pelayanan kesehatan (5,60%), keturunan (2,54%), dan lingkungan (1,98) terhadap kesehatan gigi dan mulut di Desa Seuneubok Aceh.

Abstract

This community service program aims to develop instructional teaching aids through multidisciplinary collaboration between lecturers and students from various study programs at the Islamic National University of Indonesia (UNIKI). The activity was carried out at SDN 8 Juli, an elementary school in a rural area of Bireuen Regency, Aceh, which faces limitations in concrete learning media. The approach used was the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), which allows for a systematic and participatory development process. Based on the needs analysis, it was found that students had difficulty understanding abstract concepts in science and English subjects. To address this challenge, the team designed several innovative teaching aids, such as an erupting volcano model, a diorama of the rain process, bilingual science vocabulary cards, and thematic student worksheets (LKS). These media were then implemented in thematic learning in grades III and V. The results of the implementation showed improvements in conceptual understanding, learning interest, and student participation. Teachers also expressed enthusiasm and willingness to use the media independently in the future. Evaluation was conducted through classroom observation and teacher reflection, indicating that the developed media were appropriate for the needs and easy to apply. This activity demonstrates that cross-disciplinary collaboration can produce effective and sustainable learning media. This model is worthy of replication in other elementary schools, particularly those in resource-limited areas.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out students’ responses to the activities presented in the classroom after the implementation of Paragraph Shrinking Strategy to improve reading comprehension. This research was carried out to the first grade students in one of junior high school in Aceh. The data collected by questionnaire, then tabulated in Microsoft Excel and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that students’ responses to the implementation of Paragraph Shrinking Strategy were positive, as Paragraph Shrinking Strategy is effective in improving reading comprehension.
