Abstract

Adolescence is marked by many changes so that adolescents will face difficult and challenging situations. The ability to adapt to difficult situations affects the development and psychological well-being of adolescents. Resilience is an individual’s ability to adapt to adversity and challenges. This study aims to examine the role of self-esteem in mediating the effect of authoritative parenting on resilience. The sampling technique in this study used accidental sampling using a web survey Google Form. Participants were 160 teenagers, aged 12 to 18 years. The instruments used were the Parenting Style Scale Index (PSI), Resilience Scale 14 (RS-14) and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). The results showed that self-esteem mediates the effect of authoritative parenting on adolescent resilience.

Abstract

Kesepian pada remaja digambarkan sebagai persepsi subjektif dari sebuah kesenjangan antara apa yang diinginkan dan bagaimana hubungan sosial yang sebenarnya dalam hal persahabatan, keterhubungan, atau keintiman. Tinjauan sistematik ini bertujuan menganalisis 8 jurnal terakreditasi mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesepian pada remaja. Hasil tinjauan sistematik menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang meningkatkan kesepian yaitu pengalaman diskriminatif, pengasuhan yang tidak konsisten, rasa malu, dan viktimisasi teman sebaya, pengasuhan yang tidak konsisten, rasa malu, dan viktimisasi teman sebaya, penggunaan Facebook untuk kompensasi keterampilan sosial, diterima dengan buruk oleh teman sebaya, kurang teman, dan mengalami kualitas persahabatan yang buruk, remaja yang rendah dalam interaksi sosial tatap muka dan tinggi dalam penggunaan media sosial. Selain itu faktor yang dapat menurunkan kesepian pada remaja yaitu dukungan sosial dari teman atau keluarga dan harga diri.

Abstract

Kehilangan pasangan mampu menghadirkan perasaan kesepian bagi seseorang, terlebih untuk seorang paruh baya dan lanjut usia yang pada dasarnya mulai jauh dari kerabat yang lain. Resiliensi merupakan karakteristik kepribadian yang dapat dipulihkan dan diadaptasi oleh seseorang segera setelah mengalami kesulitan. Seseorang dengan tingkat resiliensi yang tinggi diyakini memiliki strategi koping yang positif. Namun, seiring dengan bertambahnya usia, rasa kesepian dan kecemasan turut meningkat serta kemampuan untuk mengatasi stres juga kian menurun, terlebih pada masa dewasa akhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dukungan sosial dan religiusitas merupakan faktor yang mendukung resiliensi janda dewasa akhir. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) merupakan metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini dan ditemukan hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dan tingkat religiusitas berperan penting dalam mekanisme resiliensi dalam menghadapi kehilangan pasangan di masa dewasa akhir.

Abstract

Resiliensi merupakan konsep psikologis yang menjelaskan kemampuan individu untuk bangkit dari tekanan dan mengembangkan ketahanan diri. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada dua faktor kunci yang dianggap sebagai variabel independen dalam konteks resiliensi, yaitu harga diri dan dukungan sosial. Harga diri merujuk pada sikap individu terhadap dirinya sendiri sebagai objek yang berharga, sementara dukungan sosial berasal dari lingkungan sekitar dalam bentuk bantuan dan dukungan. Dalam tinjauan literatur ini, ditemukan bahwa harga diri yang tinggi dan dukungan sosial yang baik berkontribusi positif terhadap resiliensi individu. Harga diri yang tinggi meningkatkan penilaian positif individu terhadap situasi stres, sedangkan dukungan sosial yang efektif dapat mengurangi stres psikologis dalam menghadapi kesulitan hidup. Dukungan sosial dapat berasal dari berbagai sumber seperti keluarga, teman, dan lingkungan kerja.Pentingnya memiliki dukungan sosial terletak pada kemampuannya untuk meningkatkan hubungan sosial, membantu individu menjadi bagian dari kelompok, dan merasa berafiliasi. Dukungan sosial juga memberikan makna dalam kehidupan individu dan membantu mereka menghadapi kesulitan. Mahasiswa merupakan salah satu kelompok yang sangat membutuhkan dukungan sosial, dan hal ini memainkan peran penting dalam kesehatan fisik dan kesejahteraan mereka

Abstract

Academic success is very important in an individual's life, one form of academic success is academic achievement. Academic achievement is important because of the evaluation results of the educational activity process. One of the factors that influence academic achievement is neuroticism personality. Neuroticism personality is a condition of despair, panic in stressful situations, and negative emotions. The effect of neuroticism on academic performance: 1). Anxiety Tendencies 2). Negative Feelings, 3). Response to criticism, 4). Emotion Regulation. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between neuroticism personality and academic achievement. This research uses a literature review study, with the results of systematic literature review conducted from 13 research journals showing that neuroticism personality has a relationship with academic achievement

Abstract

The Cinderella Complex syndrome is a phenomenon that affects adolescent girls in contemporary society. This study aims to explore strategies to overcome this syndrome through psychoeducation. The research method used is a qualitative approach with thematic analysis. Data were collected through interviews and observations of female millennial students. The results show that factors such as 1) having a boyfriend, 2) receiving male attention, 3) depending on and being influenced by others, 4) lack of confidence in their abilities, 5) desire to marry young, 6) having fears that can inhibit success, 7) lack of independence, 8) received parenting styles influence the Cinderella Complex syndrome in adolescent girls. The implications of this research are the need for psychological interventions, such as psychoeducation, to help adolescent girls overcome their fear of independence and develop self-confidence. Hopefully, these findings will contribute to understanding and addressing the Cinderella Complex syndrome in adolescent girls in contemporary society.

Abstract

Having children and becoming parents is the dream of most couples. Children are a gift, the apple of one's eye, a soulmate, and a source of hope. However, on the other hand, without denying the gratitude, it is undeniable that raising children is a significant task with all the complexities that follow. Without proper knowledge, the process of raising children can bring about pressure that can lead to stress. Certainly, this stress can have a negative impact on the well-being of parents and the growth of children. Mindful parenting is an awareness-based approach. Simply put, the main motivation of this approach is to enhance parents' abilities to fulfill their roles as primary caregivers and educators, both in terms of mind, emotions, and responses to their children. This systematic review aims to determine the influence of mindful parenting as an effective approach to dealing with parental stress in Indonesia. The method used is a literature review, where articles were obtained through the collection from the Publish and Perish 8 database of Google Scholar using inclusion and exclusion criteria. Keywords used in literature search include "mindful parenting," "parental stress," "happy parents," and "systematic review." The results indicate that out of the 16 scientific articles found, there is a significant influence between the implementation of mindful parenting and the reduction of parental stress levels. AbstrakMemiliki anak dan menjadi orang tua adalah impian sebagian besar pasangan. Anak adalah anugerah, buah hati, belahan jiwa, dan tumpuan harapan. Tapi di sisi lain, tanpa menafikan kesyukuran, tak dipungkiri jika mengasuh anak merupakan tugas besar dengan segala kompleksitas yang mengikuti. Bila tidak disertai ilmu yang baik, proses mengasuh putra-putri bisa saja mendatangkan tekanan yang dapat menciptakan stres. Tentu, stres ini akan berdampak negatif pada kesejahteraan orang tua dan tumbuh kembang anak. Mindful parenting adalah sebuah pendekatan berbasis kesadaran. Secara sederhana, motivasi utama pendekatan ini adalah untuk menaikkan kesanggupan orang tua dalam melakoni peran sebagai pengasuh dan pendidik utama, baik secara pikiran, emosi, dan respons terhadap buah hati. Tinjauan sistematik ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh mindful parenting sebagai pendekatan yang efektif untuk mengatasi stres pengasuhan orang tua di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic review yang mana artikel didapatkan dari pengumpulan melalui Publish and Perish 8 dari database Google Scholar dengan menggunakan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Kata kunci yang digunakan dalam pencarian literatur: “mindful parenting”, “stress pengasuhan” “orang tua bahagia” dan “tinjauan sistematik”. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dari 16 artikel ilmiah yang ditemukan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara penerapan mindful parenting terhadap penurunan tingkat stres pengasuhan.

Abstract

Nomophobia is a form of discomfort, stress, or anxiety caused by the absence of a mobile phone or other virtualcommunication devices in individuals who frequently use smartphones. Nomophobia can be influenced by severalfactors, such as self esteem and loneliness. This study aims to examine the effect of self esteem on nomophobia,mediated by loneliness, in adolescents. A quantitative research method was employed in this study. The subjects were adolescents aged 13-18 years who are smartphone users, with a sample size of 513 respondents. The instruments used include the Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q), The Self-Liking/Self-Competence Scale (SLSC), and the University of California, Los Angeles Loneliness Scale Version 3 (UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3). The analysis technique utilized was mediation analysis using the PROCESS macro by Hayes. The findings of this study indicate that loneliness acts as a mediator in the relationship between self esteem and nomophobia in adolescents, with significance (β = -0.207). It was found that the indirect effect or mediating role accounts for only 29% of the total effect, thus only partially mediating the relationship.

Abstract

The token economy is a behavior modification technique that can be used to increase desired behavior or reduce undesirable behavior in individuals, including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing a token economy to increase learning concentration in children with ASD. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental with a single-case experimental design described in the ABAB model. The subject in this study was a child with ASD who had problems with the ability to concentrate during learning. The instrument used in this research is a behavior checklist sheet for aspects of learning concentration adapted to the characteristics of children with ASD subjects. This research uses data presentation and data analysis techniques in the form of descriptive graphs, which show that applying the token economy is practical in increasing the learning concentration of children with ASD. The token economy is proven by increased learning concentration scores during the research phase, which consists of four measurement aspects: the focus defense aspect, the task completion aspect, the perseverance aspect, and the regularity aspect.

Abstract

Students in Malang is derived from the background of a diverse culture. Students nomads have a community called the organization of the area. The interaction between culture is very prone to conflict and friction that a very harmful. The prevention of conflict can be done with poly-culturalism or the belief that each group has interact with each other and provide a positive influence. But the cohesiveness of the group owned by a regional organization as the internal strength of the group can be a barrier in the relationship between the organization of the area. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a correlation between group cohesiveness with poly-culturalism on student nomads in Malang. This research is a quantitative research, using purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument used the Group Cohesiveness Scale and Poly-culturalism Scale. The results showed that there is a positive significant relationship between group cohesiveness and poly-culturalism on student nomads in Malang. Group cohesiveness which is owned by the students of the nomads in Malang does not inhibit the formation of poly-culturalism.
