Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the subject of Pancasila Education of class IV SDN 06 Pasar Ambacang, Padang City. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by Question Cards on student learning outcomes in learning Pancasila Education of class IV SDN 06 Pasar Ambacang, Padang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type and a Posttest Only-Control Group Design. The research population was all students of class IV SDN 06 Pasar Ambacang, totaling 113 students. The research sample consisted of class IV D as the experimental class and class IV A as the control class selected using purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument used was an objective test in the form of multiple choices. Data were analyzed using the normality test, homogeneity test, and the Mann-Whitney U hypothesis test. The results of the hypothesis test using the Mann-Whitney U test showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.031. Because the significance value is smaller than 0.05 (0.031 < 0.05), then H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. From the results of the study it is proven that "There is a significant influence by using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by Question Cards on student learning outcomes in Pancasila education learning for class IV SDN 06 Pasar Ambacang, Padang City.
