Abstract

Di tengah perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di abad 21 sangatlah penting sebuah keterampilan seperti HOTS. Dalam penerapannya di lapangan, HOTS belum sepenuhnya dicapai dikarenakan pelaksanaan model pembelajaran yang sulit diingat oleh guru dalam hal sintaksnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran RADEC sebagai alternatif dalam meningkatkan higher order thinking skill pada pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah systematic review yaitu penelaahan terhadap artikel sebelumnya secara terstruktur dan terencana yang bersumber dari artikel jurnal dan conference proceeding melalui Google Scholar. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah higher order thinking skill dalam pembelajaran IPA menjadi suatu hal yang penting yang harus dikembangkan oleh seorang guru, dikarenakan saat ini pada abad ke-21 HOTS menjadi suatu keterampilan yang wajib dimiliki oleh seorang siswa sehingga bisa terus eksis dalam pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran RADEC dimulai dengan tahap Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create. Selain itu, model pembelajaran RADEC sangat jelas membangun HOTS yaitu keterampilan berpikir analitis dan juga pada tahap create sangat mendukung HOTS karena level tertinggi dari HOTS adalah mencipta

Abstract

The development of a very sophisticated era requires adjustments also with the teaching system. Children today can no longer equate their way of learning with children of old. The digital era is a period where technological developments occur all over the world. As a society that lives in this digital era, we should follow the current technological developments that we feel. technology to solve problems in the world of education is a wise action. Attractive strategies and media will also be the main attraction for children to learn. Therefore, the use of YouTube is one of the media for learning to read for children at this time. With the use of youtube children can learn to read when and play. Along with the development of education, the media currently used by teachers varies greatly. Today, there are many studies that develop learning media, one of which is video media. Video is a type of audio-visual media, meaning learning media that can be seen using the sense of sight and heard using the sense of hearing. As a learning medium, video is effectively used for the learning process en masse, individually or in groups. The survey results show that 69% (very interested) and 31% (interested) if the author makes another video learning to read. This means that the use of learning to read videos as learning media via YouTube is effectively used by children, especially kindergarten age.

Abstract

Higher order thinking skills should be included into all aspects of teaching and learning, particularly at the university level in facing digital society 5.0. Teachers must be able to incorporate such abilities into their courses, including their curriculum, syllabus, lesson plan, teaching approach, and teaching materials, as well as their English classes, based on this issue. English teaching materials by using technology is one of innovative way to facing the need of digital society 5.0. This study investigates the effectiveness of English teaching materials by using technology for university students. This research is experimental research in the form of pre-test and post-test control group design. This research was conducted on the first-year students of Adzkia University in the year 2021/2022. The instrument used in this study is the test. It is used to assess students' higher order thinking skills. SPSS was used to analyze the test data quantitatively. From results of the study, it is found that students who are taught by English teaching materials using technology have better higher order thinking skills than the students who are taught by using conventional English teaching materials. It can be concluded that English teaching materials is effective media to enhance higher order thinking skills (HOTS).

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini berawal dari rendahnya keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SDN 05 Sawahan Kota Padang.Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa dengan model Concept Sentence di kelas V SDN 05 Sawahan Kota Padang. Jenis penulisan ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).Peningkatan ini dapat dilihat dari: Pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada aspek guru pada siklus I adalah 66,6% dan pada siklus II adalah 95,8%. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada aspek siswa pada siklus I adalah 60% dan pada siklus II adalah 95%. Pada penilaian siswa yaitu prabaca siklus I adalah 65,7% dan pada siklus II adalah 92,5%. Saat baca  siklus I adalah 62,5% dan pada siklus II 89,6%. Pascabaca siklus I adalah 68,2% pada siklus II 94,8%. Dengan kesimpulan bahwa: keterampilan membaca untuk pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan model Concept Sentence adanya peningkatan di kelas V SDN 05 Sawahan Kota Padang.

Abstract

TikTok is an application that can post videos that are up to three minutes long. This application is in demand by various age levels. This research was conducted to understand how to use the TikTok application as a learning medium to develop one's speaking skills. In this study, the authors implemented qualitative research methods. The research data came from PGMI STAI Solok Nan Indah students, totaling 36 respondents. The data is obtained by angular spread online. To analyze, this study applies descriptive techniques. Theory triangulation is used in the validation technique in this study. The results of this study are the exposure of the use of the tiktok application to the speaking skills of students at STAI Solok Nan Indah. It is hoped that this innovation can make it easier for teachers or lecturers to improve students' speaking skills and make students as individuals who dare to convey ideas, as well as become generations of coherent, communicative, and easy-to-understand languages.

Abstract

The issue in this research is that teachers are still using conventional methods, resulting in students not being able to demonstrate active participation and creativity in thinking and acting during IPAS (Science and Social Studies) lessons. This phenomenon is caused by teacher-centered learning, which leads to the majority of students having relatively low academic achievement. Based on this problem, the researcher attempted to implement the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This research aims to assess the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection of problem-based learning in IPAS lessons to improve the academic skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 10 Surau Gadang. The approach used in this research is both qualitative and quantitative. The type of research is classroom action research, conducted in two cycles. The results of the research show a 30% improvement in students' academic performance in the second cycle compared to the first cycle. There was also an increase in the actions and activities of both teachers and students in the second cycle compared to the first cycle. Additionally, students expressed a preference for the problem-based learning model as it helped enhance their academic performance.
