Abstract

Self-confidence as a self-recognition becomes a life position. This research was carried out with the aim of increasing the self-confidence of the members of the group consisting of 10 students of class VII SMP Negeri 8 Malalayang Manado, North Sulawesi through group counseling analysis transacsional. This research was carried out quantitatively through a quasi-experimental method. The subject's self-confidence was measured by the same questionnaire before and after being given treatment, so that different analysis results could be obtained. The results of data analysis showed that the value of t count was 6369. the value of t table is 1.633. Thus the results of the analysis obtained the value of t arithmetic 9.352 > 1.633 which means there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest; it shows that there is a significant effect on the use of transactional analysis counseling in increasing the confidence of research subjects. It is concluded that the implementation of group transactional analysis counseling can increase self-confidence. As a recommendation, it can be found that school counselors need to gain an understanding of the implementation of transactional analysis counseling, especially to help students who tend to have problems in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of intrapersonal intelligence on student self-adjustment at SMA Negeri 9 Manado. The population in this study was regular 10th-grade students with a total of 501, with 84 students as subjects. The data collection technique is a questionnaire and documentation with validity and reliability test instruments. The data analysis technique is simple linear regression analysis. Before analyzing the data to test the hypothesis, the Inferential analysis requirements test was first carried out, namely the Normality test and Linearity test with the help of the SPSS (Statistical Package for service solution) 22 for Windows computer program. Based on the results of a simple regression test, the regression equation Y = 35.054 + 0.456 X. And this result means that if there is an increase in the Intrapersonal Intelligence variable, the student's Adjustment variable will increase, and from these results, it is evident that there is a significant influence between Intrapersonal Intelligence on Self-Adjustment student.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and student achievement and is carried out through quantitative methods. The research subjects totaled 45 students drawn by random sampling technique. The research data were analyzed using a simple correlation technique, and the results of the data analysis found that the value of the r XY count was 0.427. Compared to the value of r XY table dk 45 at a significance level of 95% which is 0.294, it turns out that the calculated value of r XY is greater than the value of the r XY table or 0.427 > 0.294. These results mean that there is a significant relationship between self-control and student achievement. Thus the results of this test support the proposed hypothesis Ha so that it can be accepted, otherwise, hypothesis Ho is rejected. The power of determination of self-control variables with student achievement in class X SMA Kristen 1 Tomohon is 18%, while the remaining 82% is influenced by other factors not examined. These findings also indicate that individuals who have high self-control will be able to make decisions and take effective actions in order to produce what is desired and avoid unwanted negative consequences. So that these findings become the agenda for guidance and counseling services in schools, that guidance and counseling services to increase self-control really need to be implemented.

Abstract

Family harmony is related to student achievement. A harmonious parent-child relationship will determine the child's ability to learn. A student who feels his family is harmonious will perceive their home as a happy place because the fewer problems in his family, the fewer problems the student faces. This will create a conducive atmosphere for the student's learning process so as to help in achieving the expected achievements. The study aims to determine the relationship between family harmony and student achievement. The research data was analyzed with a simple correlation technique, and the results of the data analysis found the price r XY calculate 0.474. Compared to the r XY value of table dk 30 at the significance level of 95% is 0.361, it turns out that the calculated r XY value is greater than the r XY value of the table or 0.474 > 0.361. From these results it means that there is a significant relationship between family harmony and student learning achievement. Thus the results of this test support the proposed Ha hypothesis so that it can be accepted, otherwise Ho's hypothesis is rejected. The determination of family harmony variables on the learning achievement of grade X students of SMK Kristen 1 Tomohon was 22%, while the remaining 78% was influenced by other factors that were not studied

Abstract

Individual counseling, namely guidance and counseling services that allow students or counseling to get face-to-face direct services (individually) with the lead teacher in the context of discussing the staging of personal problems suffered by counseling. This approach sees counseling as a rational process that emphasizes present and present behavior. Self-Responsibility or self-responsibility becomes human awareness of intentional or unintentional behavior or actions. Responsibility can be a manifestation of awareness and obligation for humans. This study aims to increase student self-responsibility in aggressive behavior, so that students (counselees) can manage time and can study for social academics. The impact of implementing individual counseling in teaching and learning activities for 10th grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Manado. This research was carried out in less than 2 months for the 2022 school year. Namely, on three students who demonstrated weak self-responsibility. The research procedures used in this study were (1) planning, (2) action implementation, (3) observation and monitoring, (4) analysis and reflection. The criterion for success in this study is a change in self-responsibility manifested in behavior that prioritizes learning from weak to strong to create a successful identity. After individual counseling actions the counselors can show changes that indicate an increase in self-responsibility in dealing with the learning process in the classroom. preparing to take exams, entering assignments on time can help friends to study hard as a self-commitment to change aggressive behavior. show progress in their respective learning outcomes.

Abstract

Parenting patterns affect the way children develop, because families, especially parents, are the closest people to children who can shape children's behavior, personality and habits as well as education. Many children follow the behavior of their parents. Parenting patterns that are owned also greatly affect children's learning achievement and to achieve a goal this study aims to determine the effect of parenting parents on student achievement in SMA Negeri 10 Ternate City.This research is a quantitative research with a correlational method, by means of simple random sampling of 42 students of SMA Negeri 10 Kota Ternate in the academic year 2020/2021. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used simple linear regression analysis with the help of a computer program SPSS 23 for windows. The results showed that there was an effect of parenting style on student learning achievement obtained by the equation Y = 22.411 - 0.725 X with the ratio of the increase in the two variables quantitatively is 1: 0.725 this comparison shows that if there is an increase in the value of the parenting style variable ) then the level of increase in the value of the student achievement variable (Y) will be followed of 22.411. The regression equation is significant or will not be tested using the Fcount value at the significant level of 0.05. It means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion that the hypothesis that says there is an effect of parenting style on student achievement in SMA Negeri 10 Ternate City is accepted and significant, this is indicated by the regression coefficient value (F) 4.050 with a significant 0.000.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of family harmony on the moral behavior of students at SMA Kristen 1 Tomohon for the academic year 2020/2021. This research was conducted using a quantitative research approach with a correlation method, the population of this study was 788 students with a sample of 79 students at SMA Kristen 1 Tomohon and the sampling process was taken by simple random sampling. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale, and data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of a computer program SPSS 23 for windows. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of family harmony on students' moral behavior with the regression equation Y = 40.685 + 0.668 X, with the ratio of the increase in the two variables quantitatively is 1: 0.668 this comparison shows that if there is an increase of one time / unit in the harmony variable family (X), there will be an increase of 0.668 in the moral behavior variable (Y). The regression equation is significant or will not be tested using the Fcount value at the significant level of 0.05, and it is obtained that the Fcount is 75.035 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.005, then Ha is accepted. The conclusion is that the Ha hypothesis which says there is an effect of family harmony on the moral behavior of students at SMA Kristen 1 Tomohon is accepted and significant, this is indicated by the value of the regression coefficient (F) of 75.035 with a significant of 0.000

Abstract

Latar belakang: Pola pikir yang mampu beroperasi secara sehat, dapat  menghasilkan perilaku belajar untuk  kemajuan atau produktif. Tujuan penelitian: Untuk membantu subjek penelitian mengubah pola pikir yang tidak produktif, menjadi produktif, melalui penerapan pendekatan konselor Rasional Emotif  Behavior. Metode penelitian: Subjeknya empat  peserta didik broken home yang menunjukkan pola pikir irasional sehingga tidak produktif. Melalui proses konselor rasional emotif behavior, dengan metode action research (tindakan konselor kelompok) maka 4 subjek dalam kelompok dapat mengalami perubahan pola pikir secara bertahap  dalam menjalani kehidupan penuh tantangan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan 2 siklus. Siklus 1 dilaksanakan selama 4 sesi dalam 3 tahapan konselor. Siklus kedua dilaksanakan 4 sesi  dalam 2 tahapan konselor selanjutnya.  Hasil penelitian: Hasil siklus pertama terlihat kedua konselor mengalami perubahan, dimana mereka terlihat mulai kuat menghadapi tantangan dalam belajar, juga  pada ungkapan pada proses konselor kedua subjek mulai dapat mengemukakan pandangan sehat dan membagi pengalaman kemajuan aktivitas belajar mereka. Sharing of experiance ke dua subjek pertama dapat  membantu kedua subjek lainnya, sehingga pada sesi kedua di siklus kedua, dua subjek berikut  mulai menunjukkan perubahan, dengan mengemukakan statement yang dapat membangun komunikasi produktif. Hal tersebut menunjukkan adanya perubahan pola pikir yang terwujud dalam perilaku belajar. Temuan tersebut menunjukan bahwa konselor kognitif behavior efektif mengubah pola piker negatif atau tidak produktif peserta didik broken home. Kesimpulan: Mengacu pada hasil-hasil penelitian sebagai mana telah diuraikan pada bagian sebelumnya, maka pada bagian ini akan dikemukakan beberapa kesimpulan sebagai berikut  bahwa konselor kognitif behavior efektif membantu konselor broken home (peserta didik) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengubah pola pikir negatif atau pola pikir produktif.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana keefektifan konseling Adlerian meningkatkan self-meaning untuk success academic. Konseling Adlerian dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman self-meaning dengan desain penelitian pre-tes pos-tes control group. Subjek penelitian yang memperoleh intervensi adalah siswa SMPN 1 Airmadidi dan SMPN 2 Airmadidi, Kabupaten Minahasa Utara Propinsi Sulawesi Utara, tahun ajaran 2020/2021, yang low pemahaman self meaning life. Data angka dianalisis menggunakan uji Two Independent-Sample Test Mann Whitney-U. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa melalui konseling Adlerian, pemahaman self-meaning subjek eksperimen dapat meningkat secara berarti. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa higt insiht self-meaning life student merupakan hal esensial fundamental yang membuka kesadaran diri, memicu creative in life style berkompetensi untuk hidup bermakna serta successfull yang memungkinkan self-actualisation di era revolusion industri sebagai peserta didik saat ini, bahkan ke depan dalam menghadapi dunia kerja. Sebagai rekomendasi: (1) konselor harus terampil melaksanakan Konseling yang membantu konseli memahami self-meanning life agar memiliki identitas successfull. (2) perlu dilaksanakan penelitian pelatihan konseling untuk guru Bimbingan Konseling di sekolah. Kata Kunci: konseling Adlerian, makna hidup, makna diri, kesuksesan hidup  ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine how the effectiveness of Adlerian counseling in increasing self-meaning for academic success. Adlerian counseling was carried out to improve understanding of self-meaning with a pre-test post-test control group research design. The research subjects who received the intervention were students of SMPN 1 Airmadidi and SMPN 2 Airmadidi, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province, in the 2020/2021 academic year, who had low understanding of self-meaning life. Numerical data were analyzed using the Two Independent-Sample Test Mann Whitney-U. The experimental results show that through Adlerian counseling, the experimental subject's understanding of self-meaning can be significantly increased. This shows that high-insight self-meaning student life is a fundamentally essential thing that opens self-awareness, triggers a competent creative in life style to live a meaningful and successful life that allows self-actualization in the industrial revolution era as students today, even in the future. face the world of work. As recommendations: (1) counselors must be skilled in implementing counseling that helps counselees understand self-meanning life in order to have a successful identity. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Kepercayaan Diri melalui Layanan Bimbingan Kelompok kepada sebagian Peserta Didik di Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tondano. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindak bimbingan konseling, atau (Action Research). Subjek penelitian 15 orang peserta didik dari peserta didik kelas XI yang dilaksanakan dua siklus dengan desain perencanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data oleh tiga observer yaitu peneliti dibantu oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah serta satu guru mata pelajaran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian atau temuan: Pada siklus I ada 12 peserta didik yang mendapatkan kriteria baik dengan kepercayaan diri yang telah peningkat. Sedangkan pada siklus II dari hasil observasi terlihat terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan, tiga peserta didik sehingga ke 15 subjek penelitian telah mengalami peningkatan rasa percaya diri. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa Layanan bimbingan kelompok dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri pada 15 subjek penelitian kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Tondano.
