Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi penerapan komponen teknologi khususnya pada industri kecil menengah atau dikenal dengan istilah IKM Cokro Tela Cake, dengan memenuhi Standar Nasional (SNI) 01-4309-1996 untuk produk kue lapis. Model pengukuran yang digunakan adalah tingkat kesiapan teknologi dan modifikasi House of Quality (QFD) yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kontribusi komponen technoware (fasilitas teknologi) dan humanware (kemampuan manusia), sehingga proses produksi berjalan lebih spesifik. Penelitian ini turut mengacu pada persyarakatan kualitas SNI. Adapun, hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya gap pada proses pembuatan khususnya bahan baku, serta tahap finishing. Analisis turut menunjukan bahwa perusahaan banyak memenuhi standar, namun faktanya area memerlukan peningkatan, khususnya pada pemanfaatan teknologi dan pelatihan kerja. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada IKM untuk bisa meningkatkan kualitas teknologi yang jauh lebih baik dalam pengelolaan produk, dan meningkatkan sumber daya manusia yang optimal.

Abstract

The proposed study pertains to Multi-Task Simultaneous Supervision Dual Resource Constrained (MTSSDRC), which considers minimizing tardiness and workload balance. The workload balance is calculated using the Workload Smoothness Index (WSI). Additionally, the research concentrates on unrelated parallel machine schedules as they reflect the actual industry conditions in practice. This issue employs three methodologies: Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP), Mixed-Integer Quadratic Problem (MIQP), and Mixed-Integer Quadratically Constrained Programming (MIQCP).  The results in the MILP model focus on the value of total tardiness so that the results obtained have a smaller total tardiness value. However, it is still uncertain that the WSI value is better because no boundaries have been set between the two objective functions to achieve optimal values in the MILP model. The MIQP model focuses on the Workload Smoothness Index (WSI) value to give a limit to the total tardiness objective function. Limit values ​​are obtained from MILP model values, and the resulting WSI value becomes smaller. Moreover, the MIQCP model focuses on the total tardiness value and has limits in the form of permitted WSI. This model produces a small WSI value in accordance with the specified WSI limits while adjusting the specified total tardiness.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi industri modern menuntut penguasaan sistem desain dan manufaktur berbasis komputer, khususnya Computer-Aided Design (CAD) dan Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), yang berperan penting dalam mewujudkan proses perancangan dan produksi digital yang efisien, presisi, dan adaptif terhadap era Industri 4.0. Namun, pemahaman CAD/CAM di tingkat sekolah menengah masih terbatas akibat keterbatasan fasilitas dan akses pembelajaran berbasis teknologi industri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi teknologi serta memperkenalkan konsep dasar CAD/CAM kepada siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk memperluas wawasan dan minat siswa terhadap alur desain digital hingga manufaktur serta relevansinya dengan dunia kerja dan pendidikan tinggi. Materi disampaikan melalui studi kasus sederhana, diskusi interaktif, dan demonstrasi langsung pembuatan gambar CAD/CAM pada perancangan produk fungsional, seperti mesin pemotong kentang. Pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis praktik diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan pola pikir rekayasa (engineering mindset) dan memperkuat pemahaman siswa mengenai peran CAD/CAM dalam menghasilkan solusi inovatif di industri modern. Melalui kegiatan ini, Program Studi Teknik Industri Telkom University Purwokerto berkontribusi dalam pengembangan literasi teknologi siswa sekolah menengah sekaligus memperkuat citra program studi melalui pengenalan rekayasa industri yang inspiratif dan aplikatif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of higher education promotional media in attracting prospective students’ attention, particularly among recently graduated high school students, by comparing traditional and digital advertising media. The analysis was conducted by measuring the duration of students’ attention toward each type of promotional media displayed during the process of searching for university information. The results indicate that traditional promotional media, such as education expos and billboards, still play an effective role in increasing institutional awareness and attracting prospective students’ attention. On the other hand, digital media such as social media and websites provide faster, broader, and more interactive access to information for prospective students, parents, and teachers. These findings suggest that higher education institutions need to optimally integrate traditional and digital promotional strategies to enhance marketing communication effectiveness and strengthen institutional competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia is a cement manufacturing company that utilizes FABA (Fly Ash and Bottom Ash) as one of its supplementary raw materials. A significant issue faced by the company is the overstock of FABA, which contributes to increased storage costs and poses a risk of environmental pollution. This research aims to develop an optimal inventory planning strategy for FABA by integrating time series forecasting methods with a min-max inventory control policy. The study utilizes historical FABA demand data from July 2023 to June 2024. Three forecasting techniques are applied: moving average, weighted moving average, and exponential smoothing. Accuracy evaluation indicates that the moving average method with a parameter of n = 3 produces the lowest forecasting error, as measured by MSE and MAD. The forecasting model is further validated using the Moving Range Chart to ensure its stability and reliability. The calculated safety stock at a 95% service level is 191.34 tons, with a minimum inventory of 758.83 tons and a maximum of 1,326.31 tons. This forecasting-based min-max policy effectively enhances inventory efficiency, mitigates risks of overstock and stockout, and supports operational sustainability.

Abstract

Yogyakarta is recognized as a national education hub in Indonesia, characterized by intense competition among higher education institutions, which necessitates data-driven strategic enrollment management (SEM) approaches. This study aims to identify and prioritize potential provinces for campus promotion using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a multi-criteria decision-making method. Four academic performance–based criteria—Grade Point Average (GPA), study duration, student achievement, and bachelor’s thesis performance—were evaluated across four provinces: West Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), and East Kalimantan. Pairwise comparisons and consistency testing were applied to ensure reliable weighting and ranking. The results indicate that GPA is the most influential criterion, followed by study duration, student achievement, and bachelor’s thesis performance. Based on the overall priority scores, West Nusa Tenggara ranked first (1.213), followed by East Nusa Tenggara (0.748), West Kalimantan (0.407), and East Kalimantan (0.229). These findings demonstrate that integrating academic outcome indicators with geographic prioritization provides a systematic and objective basis for targeted promotion planning, supporting more effective and sustainable student recruitment strategies.
