Abstract

In a cross-sectional design of reinforced concrete, is generally assumed to be only 30 to 50% higher cross section work withstand being hit withstand tensile rest. From these assumptions and with the use of the model diagram, meaning there are still opportunities to optimize the function of the concrete with the use of lower levels of the cement mixture. With this method the benefits expected to be obtained and optimally efficient use of cement as an adhesive in the construction of reinforced concrete. Experiments carried out by varying the mix proportion of concrete as high as 50% higher for the cross-sectional area that will receive the attractive force. Of the six variations resulting mixture is made that the flexural strength of concrete as indicated by the flexural strength test results obtained that the bending moment variation cement mix with lower levels do not affect the flexural strength of about 9.2 KNm.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyse the alternative which might be done to givesolution for column structure reinforcement and bar in case of building room layoutchange. There were 4 methods which were presented for analysing column structurereinforcement and bar in this research. The dimensions of the removed column were25x40 cm with a length of 350 cm and the reinforced beams were 25x40 cm withspan length of 800 cm. This research also showed the price which was gotten fromvarious methods did as consideration of solution chosen. The analysis wasconducted by using SAP2000 application. This analysis was done by 2 columnremoval without reinforcement which in the fact the structure is not powerful if thereis not any reinforcement by the result of 2 column removal so that for safetyanticipation, it is better if reinforcement is implemented. The first method is themethod with the elimination of 2 columns but without the reinforced structure, afterSAP2000 analysis on the portal, obtained the maximum moment that happened was76,1 KN exceeding the permitted moments of 62 KN so that this will be dangerous tothe strength of the structure, therefore for security anticipation should be donereinforcement. The second method which is the first solution is the method ofJacketing Column & Beam obtained the result that the building was considered safeby enlarging the original beam dimensions 25x40 cm to 35x65 cm and the originalcolumns 25x30 cm to 40x40 cm. It is also supported by the value of the momentsshown not exceeding the maximum allowed moments. The third method is analternative to the second retrofit solution by providing additional structuralelements instead of the existing missing columns, but with this method it willinterfere with the aesthetic value of the building, since the new element beams arevery visible. The last method is the use of CFRP (Carbon Fiber ReinforcedPolymer), this method proved to be the most efficient way to overcome the structuralreinforcement problems at As-Shohabat mosque in terms of processing time, laborcost, and sufficient strength to replace the reinforcement that occurs due to thereduction of the column that supports the block.Kata kunci: strengthening column and beam, strengthening structure, CFRP

Abstract

Construction prioritizes the strength of concrete without thinking about the negative impact on the environment. The cement industry is estimated to contribute 5-7% of CO2 gas emissions in the world. On the other hand, Indonesia is also faced with environmental problems caused by various industrial waste. From this problem an innovation emerged, namely ABUTA (husk ash and brick ash). The aim of this innovation is to create a concrete innovation using Abuta Waste (Rice Husk Ash, and Brick Powder). For the manufacture of economical, environmentally friendly concrete to reduce the negative impacts caused by excessive use of cement and reduce industrial waste in Indonesia. In writing this proposal the author used the experimental writing method and data collection method. The concrete innovation applied is concrete with a mixture of variations in the composition of rice husk ash powder and red brick powder of 10% of the cement composition in conventional concrete so that it is more economical and environmentally friendly. In this study, the ACI (American Concrete Institute) mix design method was used with the required design quality of 30 MPa. It is hoped that this innovation can become an environmentally friendly concrete innovation to reduce the negative impacts of excessive cement use and reduce industrial waste in Indonesia. Based on the mix design, the proportion of ash mixture (rice husk ash and brick powder) is 1:1. Meanwhile, the ratio of the amount of ash mixture to cement is 10%: 90%. The compressive strength of concrete with a 0% Abuta mix variation (7 days old) was 19.5, while the concrete innovation with a 10% Abuta mix variation (7 days old) was 15.70 Mpa. This means that the 10% mixture reduces the compressive strength value by 46.28% below the 0% abuta mixture variation. Using a mixture of 10% ash (rice husk ash and brick powder) in innovative concrete can reduce production costs by IDR. 76,700/m ³. Based on the materials obtained in this manufacture, it can be concluded that to obtain optimal compressive strength, better quality materials are needed. The application of concrete can be applied in casting work floors and non-structural construction work such as buildings that require general load power such as housing, sculpture, home interiors and others.

Abstract

The proposed study pertains to Multi-Task Simultaneous Supervision Dual Resource Constrained (MTSSDRC), which considers minimizing tardiness and workload balance. The workload balance is calculated using the Workload Smoothness Index (WSI). Additionally, the research concentrates on unrelated parallel machine schedules as they reflect the actual industry conditions in practice. This issue employs three methodologies: Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP), Mixed-Integer Quadratic Problem (MIQP), and Mixed-Integer Quadratically Constrained Programming (MIQCP).  The results in the MILP model focus on the value of total tardiness so that the results obtained have a smaller total tardiness value. However, it is still uncertain that the WSI value is better because no boundaries have been set between the two objective functions to achieve optimal values in the MILP model. The MIQP model focuses on the Workload Smoothness Index (WSI) value to give a limit to the total tardiness objective function. Limit values are obtained from MILP model values, and the resulting WSI value becomes smaller. Moreover, the MIQCP model focuses on the total tardiness value and has limits in the form of permitted WSI. This model produces a small WSI value in accordance with the specified WSI limits while adjusting the specified total tardiness.

Abstract

This paper focuses on developing a Multi-Task Simultaneous Supervision Dual Resource-Constrained Scheduling (MTSSDRC) system that considers differences in skill between operators, aiming to minimize makespan and balance operator workload. Workload balance is calculated using the Workload Smoothness Index (WSI). The mathematical model developed uses three techniques: Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP), Mixed-Integer Quadratic Programming (MIQP), and Mixed-Integer Quadratically Constrained Programming (MIQCP). These techniques can handle scheduling cases on a small to medium scale. Results from MILP focus on minimizing makespan, with an additional constraint for calculating the WSI. MIQP focuses on workload balance so that the WSI value becomes an objective function. It also adds a constraint for the allowable makespan value. The result from MIQP shows that the WSI value is lower than in MILP, and the makespan values are equal to the MILP makespan value. Next, MIQCP aims to minimize makespan with a constraint for the allowable WSI value. The MIQCP model produces a makespan value adjusted to a WSI value close to zero. Finally, further analysis is presented regarding the influence of differences in operator skills based on the results of the three models. Based on these models, operators with better skills will be assigned more frequently than others.
