Abstract

Background: Students are expected to be able to complete their studies andobtain a bachelor's degree. Then they are also required to prepare to enter theworld of work. Not a few students who are in their final semester beforegraduation feel less confident in their abilities. Likewise, support from family orthe environment certainly influences the job search process. Objective: Thisresearch was conducted to determine the influence between self-confidence andsocial support and anxiety about facing the world of work in final year students.Method: This research uses multiple linear regression analysis methods intesting to determine the magnitude of the influence between anxiety about facingthe world of work and self-confidence and social support. Result: Thecontribution of the variable influence of self-confidence and social support toanxiety in the world of work simultaneously produces a percentage of 42.2%which is proven to be very significant with a P value of 0.0001 with an F valueof 41.910

Abstract

In an era where social media use is increase massively, adolescents are one of the most affected groups. Adolescent mental health is a major concern because there are concerns about the negative impact of social media use on their psychological well-being. Although social media can be a useful means of communication, too much time spent on these platforms has been associated with increased symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems in adolescents. This study aims to provide new contributions to the understanding of the relationship between social media use and adolescent mental health by specifically considering the influence of online content consumption and interaction. The sampling technique used purposive sampling in adolescents aged 13-18 years. The instrument used in the measurement was HADS. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate tests using the perason correlation test. The results of this study indicate that social media use has a complex impact on adolescent mental health. So it is important to manage the use of social media and encourage the active role of parents and educators in providing guidance to adolescents to use social media in a healthy way.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dampak pelatihan mindfulness terhadap penurunan kelelahan mental pada kelompok kader. Kelelahan mental seringkali menjadi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh para kader dalam menjalankan tugas kesehariannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan desain pre-test post-test kontrol kelompok. Kelompok kader terbagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok yang menerima pelatihan mindfulness dan kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner sebelum dan setelah pelatihan untuk mengukur tingkat kelelahan mental. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode statistik yang sesuai. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan lebih lanjut mengenai efektivitas pelatihan mindfulness dalam mengurangi kelelahan mental pada kelompok kader, sehingga dapat menjadi landasan untuk pengembangan program pelatihan yang lebih baik di masa depan.
