Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesantunan berbahasa pada pidato Anies Baswedan dalam sidang PHPU MK serta menjelaskan setiap data yang digunakan tergolong ke dalam maksim mana saja. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode simak catat dengan objek penelitiannya adalah pidato Anies Baswedan dalam sidang PHPU MK. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan lima belas data yang terdiri dari tiga maksim kebijaksanaan, dua maksim kedermawanan, empat maksim penghargaan, tiga maksim kesederhanaan, dua maksim permufakatan, dan satu maksim kesimpatian. Dengan maksim yang paling dominan adalah maksim penghargaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kategorisasi verba gerakan pasientif dalam bahasa daerah mandailing. Data yang digunakan adalah data lisan, data tulis, dan data intuitif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan Mandailing, tepatnya di Panyabungan Timur, Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Sebagai masyarakat asli Mandailing memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang verba gerakan apa saja yang ada di dalam Mandailing. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap beberapa informan melalui alat elektronik, yaitu penutur asli bahasa Mandailing. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori metabahasa semantik alami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Verba dikategorikan menjadi dua yaitu Verba proses disubkategorikan menjadi verba gerakan pasientif (VGP) dan tindakan disubkategorikan menjadi verba gerakan agentif (VGA). Dalam penelitian ini membahas verba gerakan pasientif (VGP). Verba gerakan pasientif dalam Bahasa Mandailing (BM) ditemukan enam VGP. Ditemukan enam VGP dalam bahasa daerah Mandailing yaitu Madabu, Tarsulandit, Marbalik, Marputar, Motar, Marguling. VGP dalam BM disubkategorikan berdasarkan dua komponen yaitu, ‘seseorang atau sesuatu bergerak di tempat ini dan sesuatu atau seseorang bergerak dari tempat ini. Dalam bahasa Mandailing terdapat dua hasil data 'seseorang atau sesuatu bergerak di tempat ini' yaitu Motar, marputar. Dan tiga hasil data 'seseorang atau sesuatu bergerak dari tempat ini yaitu Madabu, marbalik, tarsulandit.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the history and meaning of Ulos Batak Toba. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research of the literature review type. The data source used in this research is Batak script books. The data collection technique used in this research is the reading and note-taking technique. In analyzing the data, the author uses text analysis techniques. In traditional wedding ceremonies, this ulos is given by the bride's parents to the groom's mother as ulos pargomgom, meaning that her in-laws can always be with their daughter-in-law (the child of the ulos giver). Ulos Ragi Hotang Ulos Ragi Hotang is also of high rank. This Ulos is used for someone who is considered cunning in the hope that God can change his character into a wise person, someone who is struck by misfortune, and someone who works diligently. In death ceremonies, ulos is used to wrap the body or bones during the second burial ceremony. Ulos Maratur Ulos maratur has a striped motif depicting birds or animals arranged in an orderly manner. Usually this ulos is used as a parompa ulos with the hope that after the first child is born, other children will follow as many as the birds or animals depicted on the ulos.

Abstract

This meta-analysis investigates the effectiveness of various reading interventions for English learners, with a focus on students at STIT Al-Ittihadiyah Labuhanbatu Utara. The study synthesizes findings from 15 research articles published between 2010 and 2025. The interventions examined include phonics-based instruction, vocabulary development programs, and reading comprehension strategies. The results reveal that phonics-based interventions had the largest effect on reading fluency and accuracy, especially for younger learners. Vocabulary development programs also showed significant improvements in reading comprehension, while reading comprehension strategies were most effective when combined with phonics or vocabulary interventions. The duration of the intervention and the use of digital tools were found to enhance the effectiveness of the programs. This research contributes to the understanding of effective reading interventions for English learners and provides practical recommendations for educators at STIT Al-Ittihadiyah Labuhanbatu Utara.

Abstract

Internet use in Indonesia is very active with the existence of social media. This gave birth to a new phenomenon among internet users with creativity in making memes. The memes that are currently developing are in the form of images and videos. This meme is defined as an idea, behavior, style, entertainment that spreads from one person to another. Memes on social media have become a vehicle for entertainment because they are funny and contain parodies. However, memes also often cause problems where someone thinks that everything can be used as a joke in the form of a meme and the aim is to corner certain parties. Moreover, if a meme contains elements of a political meme, many people like to edit the meme as a daily joke. The aim of this research is to get an overview of the semiotic elements in political memes circulating on social media. This research method is semiotic analysis using Charles Peirce's semiotic approach (signs, objects and interpreters). The research results concluded that there is a close relationship between signs, objects and interpreters. Meme signs (images) created by netizens responding to feuds between political memes. The object (meaning) generally contains scorn, sarcasm and netizens' dislike for Lulung and is packaged in the form of satire (humor). Meanwhile, the interpretation or attitudes (thoughts) of meme creators and netizens tend to be the same. Where netizens generally accept and agree with the contents of this meme and support each other.
