Abstract

ZIIS Islamic Modern College is one of the Islamic modern educational institutions located in Banyumas, Central Java, which prepares its students for individual and social life. The institute holds various activities, including language activities. These language activities are organized by the college with the goal of habituating students to use language in their daily conversations. The aim of this research is to describe the role of language activities in practicing students' speech at ZIIS Islamic Modern College in Cilongok, Banyumas, Central Java. This research uses a qualitative approach with a field study design. The researcher employed interviews, observations, and document analysis to collect data. After conducting the research, the researchers obtained the following results: The language activities at ZIIS Islamic Modern College include vocabulary presentations, weekly conversations, lectures, watching movies, and inviting Arabic speakers. These activities play an important role. One of their roles is to practice students' Arabic and English speech, focusing on short daily expressions.

Abstract

Purpose: The objectives of this research is to provide production of muhadatsah material preparation in light of the direct method and to know the characteristics of muhadatsah material preparation in light of the direct method for students of the Department of Arabic Language Education at the State Islamic University of Purwokerto. Design/ methods/approach: This research used a qualitative and developmental approach, as the researchers used questionnaire, interview, observation, as well as testing to collect data. Findings: After conducting the research, they obtained the following research results: (1) The muhadatsah material was prepared in light of the direct method, consisting of 10 lessons, each lesson having dialogues and simple rules related to the specific topic. As for the vocabulary for difficult words, the researchers provided them with colorful pictures showing the meanings of the words. Because this method avoids using the mother tongue, rather it is necessary to use the language studied. (2) The characteristics of muhadatsah material in light of the direct method are avoiding the mother tongue when writing it and using the studied or target language when preparing it using clear images that show the content of the topics in it. (3) Preparing the muhadatsah material according to the direct method is effective given the difference between the post-test and the pre-test, which is 2.9149. Research implications: The findings of this study can be utilized by educators to inform their teaching practices, particularly those who instruct the muhadatsah subject. Furthermore, those who wish to conduct further research on the subject in the future will have a reference in the research results, which will consider the fundamentals of muhadatsah subject preparation.

Abstract

درس الإنشاء من مهارة الكتابة حيث كان تعليمه يحتاج إلى استعداد جيد لتصير العملية التعليمية جذابة. ومن هذه الاستعدادات هي المدخل والطريقة والوسائل وما أشبه ذلك. كما المعروف أن المنهج الدراسي المستخدم الآن هو منهج مرديكا حيث كانت الطريقة المستخدمة كثيرة منها التعليم القائم على المشكلات والتعليم القائم على المشاريع والتعليم القائم على الاستقصاء وغيرها. فالتعليم القائم على المشاريع نظرا إلى خصائصها يستطيع أن يتم تطبيقها في درس الإنشاء، لأن هذا الدرس يحتوي على أنواع المشاريع. ولكون هذا الدرس عدم الكتاب التعليم، فأراد الباحثون استخدم التعليم القائم على المشاريع في إعداد كتاب الإنشاء. هدف هذا البحث إلى وصف استخدام التعليم القائم على المشاريع في إعداد مادة الإنشاء وخصائصه. استخدم هذا البحث مدخل كيفيا حيث كان الباحثون قاموا بجمع البيانات وتحليلها دون البيانات الرقمية. أما نوع هذا البحث هو بحث ميداني وصفي ووصف الباحثون عن استخدام التعليم القائم على المشاريع في إعداد مادة الإنشاء وخصائصه. وبعد قيامههم بالبحث حصلوا على النتائج: (1) استخدام التعليم القائم على المشاريع في إعداد مادة الإنشاء ذو أهمية كبيرة، به تستطيع أن تكون عملية تعليم الإنشاء واضحة، وتكون العملية التعليمة بالمشاريع المعينة. ولأن هذه المادة لممارسة مهارة الكتابة لدى الطلبة فإن هذا النموذج تم استخدامه في مادة الإنشاء. (2)أما خصائص التعليم القائم على المشاريع في إعداد مادة الإنشاء بسير العملية التعليمية في هذه المادة قائما على المشاريع والتدريبات التي تتعلق بالموضوع المطابق بالمنهج الدراسي، ثم القيام بالبحث عن أعمال الطلبة بهذه المشاريع.

Abstract

Maulid Simthud Durar is a birthday book by Al-Habib 'Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Husein Al-Habsyi which contains prayers, praise for the prophet Muhammad saw. as well as verses from the Koran written in beautiful language which are related to the study of Bayan Science. Bayan science is the science of how to provide explanations both through tasybih (similarity), majaz (figurative language) and through kinayah (an expression that means polysemy). What the author discusses in this research are the Tasybih and Majaz contained in the Maulid Simthud Durar by Al-Habib 'Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Husein Al-Habsyi. Tasybih is a comparison between two or more things that have the same characteristics (one or more) with a tool, because there is a purpose desired by the speaker. Meanwhile, Majaz is a word that is used not in its original meaning because of relationships (alaqah) and reasons that prevent it from being understood with its original meaning or dictionary meaning. This research is a type of library research, where the Mulid Simthud Durar Book is used as a primary source, as well as other sources as secondary data sources to support this research. Data collection uses the documentation method, where the researcher looks for notes, books, or other data that are related to the Tasybih and Majaz contained in the Maulid Simthud Durar by Al-Habib 'Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Husein Al-Habsyi. In the data analysis method the author uses the content analysis method. The learning applications that can be used in learning Parrot Science are the direct method, translation method and singing method. Apart from these three methods, the development of other methods can also be used in learning Parrot Science.

Abstract

Background: The modern era presents serious challenges to the formation of students’ character and social ethics. The degradation of moral values such as individualism, materialism, and the weakening of social solidarity requires Islamic religious education to play a more strategic role in building the ethical awareness of the younger generation. Research Objectives: This study aims to: (1) analyze the concept of social ethics from the perspective of Tafsir Al-Bayan by Imam Abdul Hamid Hakim, (2) identify the role of Islamic education in shaping students’ social ethics, and (3) formulate pedagogical implications for the development of a social-ethics-based Islamic Education (PAI) curriculum.Methods: This research employs a qualitative approach using library research methods. Primary data were obtained from Tafsir Al-Bayan, while secondary data were sourced from Islamic education literature, academic journals, and books related to social ethics. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques with a hermeneutic approach to understand the textual and contextual meanings of Qur’anic verses related to social ethics.Main Findings: The results show that Tafsir Al-Bayan emphasizes three dimensions of social ethics: (1) ta'awun (mutual assistance) as the foundation of social solidarity, (2) ihsan (benevolence) as the orientation of interpersonal behavior, and (3) ‘adl (justice) as the principle of distributing rights and responsibilities. Islamic education serves as a medium for internalizing these values through integrative learning that connects sacred texts with contemporary social realities. Implications: These findings contribute to the development of PAI learning models that are not only oriented toward ritual-worship aspects but also toward the formation of students’ ethical and social awareness. PAI teachers need to integrate contextual tafsir approaches into the learning process to bridge Qur’anic values with present-daysocialissues.

Abstract

This article examines prophetic values in Islamic education through an analysis of the concept of tarbiyah Qur’aniyyah in Buya Hamka’s Tafsir Al-Azhar. The study aims to identify and analyze the dimensions of humanization, liberation, and transcendence reflected in Hamka’s interpretation of educational verses, particularly QS. Luqman: 13–19, QS. Al-‘Alaq: 1–5, and QS. Al-Ahzab: 21. This research employs a qualitative library approach using thematic Qur’anic interpretation (maudhu‘i) and content analysis of the tafsir text. The findings indicate that tarbiyah Qur’aniyyah in Tafsir Al-Azhar emphasizes the dignity of humanity through moral and ethical formation, the liberation of human beings from ignorance through literacy and knowledge development, and the strengthening of a transcendental orientation as the foundation of education. These findings highlight Islamic education as a holistic and integrative process rooted in Qur’anic values
