Abstract

This study aims to describe that the understanding of mathematical concepts using the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model using teaching aids is better than conventional learning. This study uses an experimental method with a population of all students of class VIII of SMP N 1 Merangin in the 2023/2024 academic year consisting of 8 classes and totaling 209 people. The selected sample was class VIII A as the experimental class and VIII D as the control class. The analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is the z-test because the data is normally distributed and the variance is not homogeneous. Based on the analysis of the final test in the experimental class, an average of 44.37 was obtained, while in the control class an average of 33.19 was obtained. The results of the hypothesis test were obtained using a linear regression test, the value of Y = 6.970 + 0.412x was obtained. In the calculation of the significant test, the calculated f value = 22.316 and f table with a significance level of 0.05 because the two-tailed test then df (N1) = 1 and df (N2) = 51 then F table = 4.03. Based on the calculation results, it was obtained that the calculated f value> F table, namely 22.316> 4.03, then H0 was rejected, which means that there is a significant influence between students' understanding of mathematical concepts using the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model using teaching aids in class VIII students of SMPN 1 Merangin in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The DPRD's supervision of the BPK Audit Report (LHP) is an essential element in the regional financial accountability system. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of technical guidance (Bimtek) in enhancing the understanding of DPRD members regarding their supervisory role with the BPK LHP. This community service activity was conducted from June 27 to 30, 2025, involving 30 members of the DPRD. The method employed is a participatory approach, incorporating lectures, group discussions, and case studies. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the DPRD supervision mechanism, from an average pre-test score of 65.2 to 84.7 in the post-test. The evaluation also showed that 87% of participants felt more confident in analyzing BPK's LHP after participating in technical guidance. This activity successfully increased the capacity of DPRD members to carry out a more effective supervisory function over regional financial management.

Abstract

The dearth of technology-based instructional materials that instructors employ to facilitate learning is the driving force for this study. The creation of reliable, useful, and efficient goods is the goal of this study. This type of research uses research and development (R&D) methods. PBL is the learning model that is employed. Analysis, design (planning), development, implementation, and evaluation are the five phases of the ADDIE development paradigm that are applied. The validation results for the very valid category showed that linguists received an average of 5.00, media experts received an average of 4.96, material experts received an average of 4.57, and practitioners received an average of 4.76. really legitimate category. The overall validation findings of the E-Module for Problem Based Learning (PBL) yielded a mean of 4.81 with a very valid category utilizing the Heyzine flipbook. In the practical area, 79.07% of the completed practicality questionnaire was collected. In the effective category, the percentage of student learning activities gained was 77.04, and the percentage of effectiveness of learning outcomes obtained was 84.61%. The E-Module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) with the assistance of Heyzine flipbooks is valid, practical, and effective, and it may be employed in the mathematics learning process, according to the research and development findings

Abstract

The low mathematical connection skills motivated this research. Students have not yet achieved mastery of the mathematical connection skills indicators. The purpose of this research is to describe mathematical connection skills, reviewed from the perspective of independent learning taught using the guided discovery learning method, which is better than conventional learning for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 58 Merangin. This study used quantitative techniques and an experimental design with a 2x3 factorial pattern with a population of VIII grade students consisting of 2 classes. The sampling technique used simple random sampling, while the data collection method used essay questions and a learning independence questionnaire. According to the data analysis, it shows that hypothesis 1t_count>t_table or 1.8607>1.679 and hypothesis 3 t_count>t_table or 2.283>1.679 then it is concluded that the mathematical connection ability using the guided discovery learning method is better than conventional learning of students as a whole or moderate learning independence, hypothesis 2 t_count<t_table or -0.128<2.015 and hypothesis 4 t_count<t_table or 1.591<1.895 which means the mathematical connection ability using the guided discovery learning method is better than conventional learning of students who have high and low learning independence. Furthermore, hypothesis 5 obtained F_count<F_table or 0.691<3.191 with the conclusion that there is no interaction between the guided discovery method in terms of learning independence in influencing students'
