Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi program ketahanan pangan terhadap peningkatan nilai ekonomi dan kemandirian warga binaan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Terbuka Kelas IIB Ciangir. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan yaitu ketahanan pangan dengan dua dimensi diantaranya ketersediaan dan akses pangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ketahanan pangan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan melalui dua dimensi utama, yaitu ketersediaan dan akses pangan. Dari sisi ketersediaan, program mampu menghasilkan berbagai komoditas pertanian dan peternakan yang memenuhi kebutuhan internal sekaligus menciptakan nilai ekonomi melalui distribusi dan pengolahan hasil panen. Sementara itu, dari sisi akses pangan, program meningkatkan kemampuan warga binaan dan masyarakat dalam memperoleh pangan melalui dukungan akses fisik yang memadai, peningkatan pendapatan, serta distribusi bantuan sosial. Program ini tidak hanya berperan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan, tetapi juga mendorong peningkatan nilai ekonomi dan pembentukan kemandirian warga binaan, baik secara ekonomi, keterampilan, maupun sosial.

Abstract

The community service program at Bank Sampah PangGold Cilegon aimed to increase public awareness and participation through the implementation of the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Activities were carried out through socialization, training, mentoring, and the use of appropriate technologies such as plastic shredding machines, pressing machines, and Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggot cultivation. Waste management remains a major issue in Indonesia, particularly due to the low level of public awareness in waste sorting and reuse. As a result of the program, community participation increased from 15 to more than 50 households. Bank Sampah PangGold also succeeded in establishing an organizational structure based on TPS3R Plus and enhancing production capacity through the processing of both plastic and organic waste. This program not only encouraged behavioral change among the community but also created new economic opportunities while strengthening the role of the waste bank as a community-based integrated waste management center.

Abstract

This research examines the involvement of the business sector in accelerating stunting reduction in Cilegon City in 2024. Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 72 of 2021 on the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction, issued by President Joko Widodo, stipulates that several parties are related to the acceleration of stunting reduction, one of which is the business sector. The active involvement of the business sector is needed to maintain the five pillars of the national strategy. Cilegon City, one of the regions implementing the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction, also actively involves the business sector in stunting reduction activities, one of which is the Healthy Kitchen to Overcome Stunting (DASHAT) program. Using a qualitative method and a case study approach, this research dissects the contribution of the business sector to stunting reduction policy in Cilegon City. Drawing on the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR), the findings indicate that implementation of the DASHAT program in Cilegon City still faces several obstacles, such as the government’s limited budget. On this basis, the Cilegon City Government collaborates with the business sector to remain committed to reducing stunting despite the limited budget. The involvement of the business sector can be seen in its role as a facilitator that provides funding. In 2024, 39 companies contributed to stunting reduction in Cilegon City, one of which was PT Latinusa Tbk. This research recommends that the acceleration of stunting reduction requires commitment from all stakeholders, including the involvement of the business sector through CSR programs.
