Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of psychological factors, external factors, financial literacy, hedonic motivation, and utilitarian motivation on impulsive buying behavior using Shopee PayLater in generation Z employees at Private Banks in South Tangerang, South Tangerang. Impulsive buying is a spontaneous and unplanned buying behavior, which is often triggered by a variety of internal and external factors. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to collect data from respondents who are employees of generation Z. Data analysis is carried out using multiple linear regression techniques to determine the influence of each independent variable on impulsive buying behavior. The results showed that psychological factors and hedonic motivation had a significant positive influence on impulsive buying behavior. In contrast, financial literacy had a negative effect, while external factors and utilitarian motivation did not show a significant influence. These findings provide insights for companies to develop effective marketing strategies by considering factors that influence impulsive consumer behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial technology and QRIS-based digital transaction processes on business sustainability, with customer satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected from 100 respondents and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that financial technology and QRIS-based digital transactions significantly influence customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction shows the strongest effect on business sustainability. Moreover, customer satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between digital financial technology, transaction processes, and business sustainability. In conclusion, the sustainability of car salon businesses is strongly determined by customer satisfaction achieved through effective digital financial technology implementation. This study introduces a sector-specific empirical model that explains how customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between FinTech (QRIS) adoption and business sustainability in the car salon industry in Jakarta. Unlike prior MSME-focused studies, it provides new evidence from a niche service sector using PLS-SEM to reveal the dominant indirect effect of digital transactions on long-term business continuity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived price and celebrity endorsement on purchase intention toward Skintific skincare products on the Shopee platform, as well as to examine the mediating role of electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) in this relationship. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 272 consumers in Jakarta using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software to test direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results show that perceived price and celebrity endorsement have positive and significant effects on both e-WOM and purchase intention. E-WOM also has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention and acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the influence of perceived price and celebrity endorsement on purchase intention. The mediating effect of e-WOM is found to be stronger in the relationship between perceived price and purchase intention, highlighting the importance of digital consumer communication in online purchasing decisions. This study focuses on consumers in Jakarta and examines only one skincare brand and a single e-commerce platform, which may limit the broader applicability of the findings. Moreover, the data are based on respondents’ perceptions at one point in time, so the results may not fully capture changes in consumer behavior over time.

Abstract

Background: The shifting professional demands, digital transformation and changing service expectations of librarians in government institutions have progressively made Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) a crucial aspect for sustaining organizational effectiveness. However, the functions of Person–Organization Fit (P-OF), Affective Commitment (AC) and Perceived Organizational Support (POS) in explaining OCB has been little researched within this professional environment. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to assess the influence of P-OF on OCB, and to test whether AC and POS modify this relationship among government librarians. Method: This study used a cross-sectional quantitative survey involving 185 librarians working in government institutions in Jakarta and selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through a web-based questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. Measurement quality was assessed through indicator loadings, composite reliability, Average Variance Extracted (AVE), and the Heterotrait–Monotrait ratio (HTMT) before the direct and moderating effects were evaluated. Findings: The results show that P–OF has a positive and significant effect on OCB. However, neither AC nor POS significantly moderates the relationship between P–OF and OCB. Implication: These findings indicate that value congruence can directly encourage citizenship behavior among government librarians, while AC and POS do not strengthen or weaken this relationship.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the effect of agile leadership and digital work integration on team performance, with psychological safety as a mediating variable. Methodology/approach – This study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed via purposive sampling to work team members accustomed to digital work systems, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM). Findings – Agile leadership and digital work integration both have a positive and significant effect on psychological safety. Digital work integration and psychological safety have a significant direct effect on team performance, whereas agile leadership does not; its effect on team performance is fully indirect, mediated by psychological safety. Psychological safety also mediates the effect of digital work integration on team performance. Novelty/value – This study extends the agile leadership and digital transformation literature by testing an integrative team-level model in the Indonesian manufacturing sector, clarifying psychological safety as the key mechanism linking adaptive leadership and digital work integration to team performance.
