Abstract

This research aims to look at the direct and indirect effects of celebrity endorser, product quality, and brand image on purchasing decisions. The group studied was PT Arminareka Perdana Umrah pilgrims. Samples were taken from 100 respondents randomly. Data collection was carried out by conducting a survey of consumers of Umrah pilgrims. The variables studied were celebrity endorser (X1), product quality (X2), product image (Y), and purchase decision (Z). The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive methods and path analysis. After the research was carried out, the results obtained were that the variable celebrity endorser (X1) and product quality (X2) had a direct effect on purchasing decisions (Z). Meanwhile, the relationship between celebrity endorser (X1) and product quality (X2) can indirectly affect purchasing decisions. The results of the path analysis test show that the research variable celebrity endorser (X1) influences purchasing decisions through brand image and product quality (X2).

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a development strategy for the Kabuyutan Ciburuy Site as a sustainable historical and cultural tourism destination. The site is a Sundanese cultural heritage that holds significant historical, spiritual, and ecological value, yet faces various challenges in terms of preservation and management. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods including observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. SWOT analysis is used to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that influence the sites development. The findings indicate that the Kabuyutan Ciburuy Site has great potential as an educational and spiritual tourism attraction, supported by ancient manuscripts, traditional buildings, and living local traditions. However, the deteriorating physical condition of some structures, limited basic facilities, and lack of government support present major challenges. The recommended strategies include cross-sector collaboration, the use of digital technology, strengthening the capacity of local managers, and safeguarding the sites sacred values. With integrated and participatory development, the site has the potential to become an icon of local cultural preservation as well as a driver of a local wisdom-based economy in Garut.

Abstract

In the current era, there has been a shift in tourism trends from mass models to more sustainable activities involving loval community participation. Jati Tourism Village, which has been designated as a leading village in Garut Regency, was established as a Tourism Village based on Decree number 556/KBP.963-DPMD from the Head of the Tourism and Culture Office of Garut Regency, which designated this village as a Pioneering Tourism Village in Garut Regency. Over time, The tourist attraction requires development programs. This research explores the potential development of the tourism village through four main indicators: tourism village infrastructure development, tourism village marketing, institutionak strengthening, and actor partnerships. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study aims to analyze the rolw of stakeholders in the development of Jati Tourism Village, using the pentahelix framework, which consists of element from Academia, Business, Government, Community, and Media. The result show that stakeholders are able to play theie roles according to their respective responsibilities. Although some are considered less optimal. These obstacles pose challenges in achieving the goals og the Jati Tourism Village develpoment program. Field findings include a lack of understanding of regulations, limited funding, inadequate human resources, and insufficient coordination and collaboaration among stakeholders. Recommendations include addresing tourism needs, implementing intensive and sustainable training programs to improve the quality of human resouces, and creating formal Memorand of Understanding (MoU) that bind stakeholders together.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang berada di desa wisata Sindangkasih, menganalisis strategi desa wisata Sindangkasih dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat lokal melalui penjualan paket wisata, dan mengembangkan model strategi yang tepat dan efektif untuk Desa wisata Sindangkasih dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat melalui penjualan paket wisata. Menggunakan metode Kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang peneliti dapatkan berasal dari wawancara dengan pengelola dan masyarakat desa wisata Sindangkasih, focus group discussion (FGD), dan observasi yang dilakukan secara langsung dilapangan serta menggunakan pendekatan Soft System Methodology. Hasil dari penelitian ini menggunakan tujuh langkah Soft System Methodology yang memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat strategi pemasaran yang perlu dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan apakah servicescape dan kualitas pelayanan mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan Café Balong Aja. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif dan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive menggunakan kuesioner online dengan sampel 100 orang pelanggan yang pernah melakukan pemesanan secara dine in di Cafe Balong Aja. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah PLS-SEM. implikasi pada penelitian ini yakin bahwa servicescape dan kualitas pelayanan memiliki berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kepada pelanggan Café Balong Aja, pada variabel servicescape sebagian besar kepuasan pelanggan dipengaruhi oleh indikator spatial layout and functionality dan pada variabel kualitas pelayanan sebagian besar kepuasan pelanggan dipengaruhi oleh indikator responsiveness (ketanggapan) Arah hubungan positif menandakan semakin meningkatnya servicescape dan kualitas pelayanan akan meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan Café Balong Aja.

Abstract

The integration of foreign interns in the Japanese hospitality industry, particularly in housekeeping operations, presents various challenges and opportunities. This study examines the adaptation process of foreign interns at Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay, focusing on language barriers, cultural differences, and operational efficiency. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through observations and interviews with foreign interns and hotel staff. The findings indicate that language barriers and cultural adaptation significantly impact the performance of foreign interns. However, structured training programs, mentorship initiatives, and technological interventions have proven to enhance their integration. While global housekeeping standards align with Japanese hospitality practices, discrepancies in service responsiveness during peak seasons highlight the need for resource optimization. The study underscores the necessity of balancing rigorous housekeeping standards with flexible adaptation programs to accommodate international staff. Future research should explore long-term adaptation strategies and examine cross-cultural workforce integration in multiple hospitality settings to provide broader insights into effective global workforce management.
