Abstract

Background: The rapid growth of data generated across various domains necessitates advanced methodologies for effective data management and extraction of meaningful insights. Traditional data processing techniques often struggle with the volume, variety, and velocity of big data. The integration of Agent Systems and Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents a promising approach to address these challenges by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of data mining processes. Objective: This study aims to explore the implementation of Agent Systems in big data management, focusing on how the integration of AI can optimize data mining operations. By leveraging the capabilities of intelligent agents, we seek to improve the accuracy, speed, and scalability of data analysis. Methods: A hybrid research methodology was employed, combining a systematic literature review with an empirical case study. The literature review analyzed previous research on Agent Systems, AI, and big data management to identify key trends and challenges. The empirical case study involved deploying an AI-integrated Agent System within a large-scale data environment to evaluate its performance. Key performance indicators (KPIs) such as processing time, accuracy, and scalability were measured and analyzed. Results: The findings indicate that the integration of AI within Agent Systems significantly enhances the data mining process. The system demonstrated a reduction in processing time by 40%, an increase in data analysis accuracy by 25%, and improved scalability, handling larger datasets more efficiently compared to traditional methods. These improvements were attributed to the autonomous and adaptive nature of agent systems, which enabled dynamic data processing and real-time decision-making. Conclusion: The study concludes that the implementation of AI-integrated Agent Systems in big data management offers substantial benefits, including optimized data mining performance. This integration facilitates more efficient and effective data analysis, which is crucial for organizations dealing with large volumes of data. Future research should focus on further refining these systems and exploring their application across different sectors.

Abstract

The increasing reliance on digital platforms for public administration has heightened concerns about data security in e-government systems. Cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches pose significant risks to the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive governmental information. Blockchain technology, with its decentralized and tamper-proof nature, offers a promising solution for enhancing data security in e-government systems. This research explores the use of blockchain to safeguard data in e-government platforms, focusing on its potential benefits, challenges, and implementation strategies. The study adopts a mixed-method approach, combining a systematic literature review and expert interviews. The literature review analyzed 50 academic articles and industry reports, while interviews with 10 blockchain experts provided practical insights. Key factors such as data integrity, transparency, and access control were evaluated to determine blockchain’s effectiveness in addressing e-government security challenges. The findings reveal that blockchain significantly improves data security by ensuring immutability, enabling secure data sharing, and reducing reliance on central authorities. Experts highlighted blockchain’s potential to enhance transparency and accountability while maintaining privacy through cryptographic techniques. However, challenges such as high implementation costs, scalability issues, and regulatory uncertainties were identified as barriers to adoption. The study concludes that blockchain can revolutionize e-government data security by offering a robust and decentralized framework. Addressing the challenges of implementation and policy alignment will be critical for realizing its full potential. Future research should focus on pilot projects and sector-specific adaptations to accelerate blockchain adoption in e-government systems.

Abstract

Background. The development of digital technology, especially social media, has changed how information is disseminated and accessed. Social media is essential in communicating the results of humanities and social sciences research. However, the impact of social media on the effectiveness and reach of research dissemination in this area has yet to be studied. Purpose. This study aims to analyze the impact of social media on disseminating research in the humanities and social sciences. The focus is to evaluate how social media affects public reach, interaction, and acceptance of research results. Method. This study uses a mixed methods approach that combines quantitative and qualitative analysis. The quantitative data was collected through an online survey involving 300 humanities and social sciences researchers. Qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 20 selected researchers. Descriptive statistical analysis is used to identify patterns and trends, while thematic analysis is used to explore insights from interviews. Results. The results showed that social media significantly increased public reach and interaction with humanities and social sciences research. Researchers reported increased visibility and public engagement of their work through Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn platforms. However, there are also concerns about the quality of interactions and the risk of spreading inaccurate information. Conclusion. This study concludes that social media significantly impacts the dissemination of research in the humanities and social sciences, especially in increasing public reach and interaction. However, to maximize the benefits, appropriate strategies are needed to manage risks and ensure the quality of interactions. The study recommends developing guidelines and training for researchers to utilize social media effectively in disseminating their research results.

Abstract

Background. The growing digitalization of global economies has opened new pathways for economic inclusion, particularly at the grassroots level. Traditional economic development models often fail to reach marginalized communities due to structural barriers, limited resources, and top-down intervention frameworks. In response, digital social enterprises (DSEs) have emerged as transformative agents that leverage technology to drive local entrepreneurship, community resilience, and inclusive innovation. These enterprises utilize digital tools such as mobile applications, blockchain, e-commerce, and social media platforms to empower underserved populations and promote sustainable livelihoods. Purpose. This study aims to examine how technology-enabled social enterprises contribute to the empowerment of grassroots economic movements across diverse socio-economic contexts. Method. The research adopts a qualitative multiple case study design, analyzing six DSEs operating in Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with founders and beneficiaries, field observations, and analysis of digital engagement metrics. Results. Findings indicate that digital social enterprises significantly enhance economic agency at the grassroots by reducing transaction costs, increasing market access, and facilitating peer-to-peer support networks. Furthermore, technology fosters adaptive capacity and local ownership, enabling communities to co-create solutions tailored to their socio-cultural realities. Conclusion. In conclusion, DSEs represent a viable bottom-up model of economic empowerment where technology serves as both a tool and a catalyst for systemic change. The study offers insights for policymakers, educators, and development practitioners seeking to scale inclusive, tech-driven economic solutions that bridge the digital divide and promote social equity.
