Abstract

This research is aimed to measure the influence of Economic Value Added (EVA) as an alternative to measure the financial performance of the value based company compsare with financial performance f the accounting based company. The performance of the 100 companies preferred stock by Kompas were analyzed by using multiple regression anaylisis,for the period of 2011-2013 by Cash Flow from Operation (CFO, Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) against abnormal stock returns. It is measured by incremental information content to confirm the influence among the EVA that consist of Accrual, CFO, Capital Charge against abnormal stock returns. The finding of this research are categorized as follows that EBIT is stronger to influence the abnormal return than EVA. The operating accrual dan operating cash flow (CFO) has the incremental information content inbfluewnced the abnormal stick returns than EVA of the non accountinbg cost of capital based company.

Abstract

One of the main objective of the company is to increase the share holder wealth by maximizing the value of the firm. The company with good value, which was reflected at their market price, would attract the investor to invest through the capital market or direct investment. This study aims to examines the effect of firm size, profitability and leverage on the firm value. The quantitave research approach was applied on this study by using multiple regression method. The population were infrastrcuture, utility and transportation company which listed on Bursa Efek Indonesia (Indonesian Stock Exchange) with obervation periods between year 2016 to 2019 and purposive sampling method was used to set up the sample. This study found that the firm size, profitability and leverage individually were not proven have a significant effect on the firm value. This study also found that the firm size, profitability and leverage simulatneously was not proven have a significant effect on the firm value

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the influence of promotion, price and location on buying decision. The population in this study are the buyers of The Body Shop at Kota Kasablanka Mall. The sampling technique used is purposive due to efficiency and time limitation. The method of technique used is multiple linear regression, validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and linearity test) while the hypothesis test includes the F test, t test, partial analysis test, and the coefficient of determination (R2). The result showed that promotion, price and location on buying decisions partially and simultaneously hjave a positive effect of buying decision.

Abstract

This research empirically studies several macroeconomic factors determining the non-performing loans (NPL) of the banking which listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research employ three macroeconomic variables influencing the NPL such as GDP growth, Inflation and BI (Bank Indonesia) rate as proxy of interest rate on yearly basis from 2010 to 2019. Multiple regression analysis method was deployed to discover the significant relationships between the macroeconomic variables and NPL. Empirical results provide evidence that GDP growth, Inflation and BI rate individually are significant and negatively relationship with NPL. This research also find that GDP growth, Inflation and BI rate simultaneously have significant relationship to NPL.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide empirical evidence about the relation of Capital Adequacy (CAR), Earning Assets Quality (NPL) and Liquidity (LDR) to bank profitability (ROA) in Indonesia especially for banks in Public Bank based on Business Acitivities called as Bank Umum berdasarkan Kegitan Usahan (BUKU) in 4 group. This research sample was extracted using purposive sampling method, comprising of the big 5 banks in Indonesia. The sample provided by 4th quarterly bank publication report for period of 2015-2018. Data analyzed by using multiple regression analysis and The result find that capital adequacy (CAR) and earning assets quality (NPL) have significant effect on bank profitability (ROA), but liquidity (LDR) have no significant effect on bank provitability (ROA). This research also find that CAR, NPL, LDR simultaneously have significant effect on bank profitability (ROA).
