Abstract

Bali is a well-known tourist destination in Indonesia which has become a concern after bad narratives circulated from recent social media posts through the attitude of foreign tourists who commit real criminal acts. This is a highlight of the Balinese people's understanding of the use of social media, especially in addressing hoax cases. Community service activities want to see an understanding of the use of social media and hoax issues there. When socialization was carried out in a number of places such as security posts, traditional villages and schools, their understanding of social media was minimal from a legal standpoint. Counseling on social media and hoax issues is provided by providing an understanding of the legality of existing laws with the existence of the Press Law and ITE Law which are the basis for prosecution. After counseling, the community service participants understand and fully understand the dangers of creating content that is dangerous for security and order.

Abstract

The problem of this research is to prove that Jamaah Tabligh is an organization, not a group. The study aims to find out the internal organization communication the members of Jamaah Tabligh (a religious meeting/congregation) and the patterns of dakwah (missionary endeavor) they apply. The study employs the Goldhaber model of organizational communication with a downward model in relation to leadership, the relationship between superiors and subordinates and the selection of leaders. The study uses the qualitative method. Data is obtained through interviews with seven active members of Jamaah Tabligh. The results of the study reveal that the internal organizational communication of Jamaah Tabligh is a large organization because it has international, national and local headquarters. The organizational communication model is very open and democratic. The leaders try to serve the members of the congregation instead of governing them. The openness of this organizational communication model can be seen in deliberations and has caused Jamaah Tabligh to be favored by lower and middle class people

Abstract

Human trafficking is an organized transnational crime that not only violates criminal law but also constitutes a form of human rights violation because it eliminates the freedom, security, and dignity of victims through sexual exploitation, forced labor, child trafficking, digital exploitation, and various other forms of exploitation. This study aims to analyze the weaknesses in regulations and implementation of legal protection for victims of human trafficking in Indonesia and to formulate a reconstruction of legal reform based on access to justice in fulfilling the rights of restitution and rehabilitation of victims. This study employs a normative juridical method with a legislative approach and a conceptual approach through an analysis of Law Number 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of the Crime of Human Trafficking, Law Number 31 of 2014 concerning the Protection of Witnesses and Victims, and various international legal instruments such as the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The research findings indicate that the protection of human trafficking victims in Indonesia still faces various weaknesses, including the difficulty of implementing restitution, the absence of state compensation funds, weak multidisciplinary rehabilitation, limited legal aid, victim blaming, and a lack of integration of the national victim protection system. Therefore, legal reform is needed through strengthening state compensation mechanisms, establishing an integrated victim protection system, a digital victim monitoring system, strengthening the role of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency, multidisciplinary rehabilitation, and harmonizing national law with international law to achieve more humane, effective, and equitable protection for human trafficking victims based on victim-centered justice.
