Abstract

Latar belakang : Swamedikasi atau pengobatan sendiri merupakan bagian dari upaya masyarakat untuk menjaga kesehatannya sendiri. Swamedikasi berarti mengobati segala keluhan pada diri sendiri dengan obat obat bebas dan bebas terbatas yang bisa dibeli bebas di apotik atau toko obat atas inisiatif sendiri tanpa nasihat dokter. Dalam pelaksanaannya, masyarakat harus memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai sehingga bisa berpraktik swamedikasi yang rasional sehingga bisa memperoleh manfaat serta terhindar dari risiko atau kerugian. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil swamedikasi di kalangan Mahasiswa S1 Farmasi Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakti Wiyata Kediri Periode September 2020. Metode : Penelitian deskriptif observasional dengan rancangan survey cross sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 87 responden. Hasil : Profil swamedikasi pada penelitian ini adalah mayoritas responden berjenis kelamin perempuan (80,5%) dan berusia 17-19 tahun (50,6%). Alasan terbanyak melakukan swamedikasi adalah karena keluhan ringan (57,5%) dengan keluhan terbanyak demam (14,9%) dan flu (12,6%). Sumber informasi terbanyak adalah dari buku kuliah dan pengalaman belajar (42,5%), tempat memperoleh obat di apotek (87,4%), mayoritas membaca aturan pakai, efek samping obat serta kadaluarsa

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of drug use, potential interactions, and side effects of antiplatelet drugs in acute myocardial infarction patients in inpatient installations to reduce morbidity and mortality rates at Gambiran Hospital, Kediri City. This study is a non-experimental study with descriptive research design and retrospective data collection, data collection using purposive sampling method. Retrospective data collection based on medical record data of patients with acute myocardial infarction, this research was conducted from January to December 2020, so that the pattern of use of anti-platelet drugs in patients with acute myocardial infarction was a combination of aspirin 80 mg 1x1 with clopidogrel 75mg 1x1 (93%), with the route of drug administration orally. Analysis of potential drug interactions was carried out using the Drugs Interaction Checker and obtained 4 occurrences of major potential interactions and 10 occurrences of moderate potential interactions. The desired potential drug interaction was to prevent platelet aggregation. There was an undesirable potential drug interaction related to decreased antihypertensive effect of the drug, while potential drug interactions in the form of gastrointestinal bleeding and decreased renal function could not be determined.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia that occurs due to defects in insulin secretion, insulin action or both. Diabetes mellitus (DM) is currently a global health threat. Various epidemiological studies have shown an increase in the incidence and prevalence of DM in the world. Based on data from the profile of the East Java Health Office in 2021, it is estimated that DM patients in Madiun City rank fourth in the East Java region. . Objective: This research was conducted to determine the evaluation of the rationality of insulin in type 2 DM patients in the Outpatient Hospital of Madiun City Hospital for the period 2022. Methods: This research method is in the form of an observational research, retrospective data collection in the form of medical records of history of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at Outpatient Hospital at RSUD Madison City. The total population in this study in the period January - December 2022 was 165 patients. Results: From the 62 type 2 DM patients who were outpatients at Madiun City Regional Hospital, it was found that 14.52% using single insulin and 12.90% used Detemir insulin. The use of the insulin combination was 85.48% and the Detemir – Aspart insulin combination was 58.06%. Conclusion: Evaluation of the rationality of insulin use showed that the correct drug was 100% and the correct dose was 93,55%.
