Abstract

Business correspondence is a main skill of business administration students. In globalization era, when the interaction among business actors is getting intents and wider. Ability at communicating in English is totally needed. As the widest international language in international relationship, mastering English becomes a great significant fundament. The research is focused on the development of structured drilling method (SDM) which is combined to the application of Tabel Tenses Sederhana (TTS). Tabel Tenses Sederhana is a teaching aid which we can use it as a guidance for drilling students. The drilling we mean can be used both for speaking and writing activities. SDM is a drilling method which is structured and gradual based on sentence structure and vocabulary needed. The drilling is given based on lesson, material and purpose of the English training. By using various vocabulary, SDM will be able to be used for every various training purpose, starting from general English to English for specific purpose. In this research, the drilling method will be focused on potential sentences/utterance in writing business English letter. The drilling method used on SDM is a various and systematic drilling method. The application of SDM which is developed on this research will be tested in several classes of Polytechnic LP3I Jakarta.  It is needed to analyzed the effectiveness of the method and to figure out the feedback from the students. The research will be designed as qualitative research. The feedback we mean is students’ perception about the applying of TTS and SDM on English business correspondence training.

Abstract

This study aims to provide the descriptive, depiction systematic view, factual and the accurate descriptions of the facts, characteristics and relationships between phenomena regarding to consumer perception and service quality at McDonald’s fast food in Jakarta. The type of the research used in this study is exploration descriptive qualitative research. The sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling, with the number of samples in this study as many as 80 person of McDonald’s customers. The data from this study were sourced from questionnaires distributed in the form of google form. The questionnaires was made based on to reliability and validity test. Data analysis technique used in this study are Data Collection, Data Reduction and Data Display. The results of the research showed the respondent’s responses to Consumer Perception at McDonald’s Jakarta fast food restaurants were Good, seen from the average total score of 334 which was included in the range of 275-339 with the assessment criteria Good. Meanwhile, respondent’s responses to Service Quality at McDonald’s Jakarta fast food restaurants were Excellent, seen from the average total score of 340,2 which included in the range of 340-400 with the assessment criteria Excellent. Suggestions can be given in this study are McDonald’s Jakarta fast food restaurants are expected to hold training or do the guidance to their employees so that the have better skills and management so that the consumers will be trust, comfortable and assured of the service quality of McDonald’s Jakarta fast food restaurants so that they can maintain consumers perception about service quality.

Abstract

In the digitalization era, English writing skill has a very important role, especially in copywriting and digital marketing. The purpose of the research is to identify the urgency of English writing skill in creating effective content for global audiences. By using qualitative descriptive approach, Data was obtained through deep interviews, documentation studies, observation and questionnaire from digital marketing practitioner, copywriter professional and digital marketing academia. The result of the research shows that the ability of English writing contributing significantly to the success of a marketing strategy such as the increasing engagement and the content attractiveness. The research findings also reveal the main challenges faced by practitioners, including a lack of training, time constraints in content production, and cross-cultural communication barriers. However, opportunities to overcome these challenges are widely available through the implementation of industry-driven training programs, the use of digital tools, and cross-cultural collaboration in producing globally relevant content. These findings highlight the importance of synergy between technical skills and cultural context understanding in optimizing the potential of digital marketing. This research provides both practical and theoretical contributions by recommending strategies to improve English writing skills, whether through formal education or professional training. Furthermore, this study is expected to serve as a reference for educational institutions and industry players in aligning training programs with global market needs.
