Abstract

The incidence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 64.25%, consisting of 54.89% of primary dysmenorrhea and 9.36% of secondary dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea is pain during menstruation that feels lower abdomen and appears before, during and after menstruation. Dysmenorrhea can have a negative impact on daily activities that often occur in adolescents who experience anxiety, tension and anxiety. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between Knowledge of the attitudes of young women in the treatment of dysmenorrhea in Palembang's Assanadiyah High School in 2016. The study design used analytical surveys with Cross Sectional research designs. Univariate and bivariate analysis by using Chi-Square statistical tests with a computerized system with the help of the SPSS program. The study population was all young women who experienced dysmenorrhea at Palembang Assanadiyah High School, March 11-14 2016. The sample of the study was total sampling technique, totaling 16 respondents. The results of bivariate analysis with chi-square statistical test showed p_value 1,000> ? 0,05, so there was no significant (significant) relationship of knowledge about the attitudes of young women in handling dysmenorrhea in Palembang Assanadiyah High School in 2016. The school was expected to provide reproductive health education about menstruation and dysmenorrhea so that the knowledge of young women about the treatment of dysmenorrhea is getting better.

Abstract

Hemoglobin (Hb) is a parameter that is widely used to determine the prevalence of anemia. The mother's hemoglobin (Hb) level greatly affects the weight of the baby to be born. Pregnant women who are anemic due to low hemoglobin in addition to endangering the mother's life also interfere with growth and development and endanger the life of the fetus. Data from the Word Health Organization (WHO), the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women worldwide is 41.8%. The aim was to determine the relationship between maternal hemoglobin levels during pregnancy and birth weight at the Abi Ummi DW Sarmadi clinic in Palembang in 2020. The analytical survey research method used a cross sectional approach. The research population was all mothers and babies born at the Abi Ummi DW Sarmadi Clinic in Palembang at the time of the study. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling, amounting to 37 respondents. The results of the univariate study showed that mothers during pregnancy had normal hemoglobin levels with higher normal birth weight, namely 18 people (75.0%) compared to LBW birth weight, namely 2 people (15.4%) while mothers during pregnancy had hemoglobin levels with severe anemia. LBW births were greater, namely 11 people (84.6%) compared to normal birth weight, namely 6 people (25.0%). The results of the Chi Square statistical test showed that P-Value = 0.002 <? (0.05) means that there is a significant relationship between maternal hemoglobin levels during pregnancy and birth weight at the Abi Ummi DW Sarmadi clinic in Palembang in 2020. Advice to midwives or health workers at the Abi Ummi clinic Dw Sarmadi Palembang can improve education about anemia, check hemoglobin levels in the early and late trimesters of pregnancy during pregnancy visits so that one of the causes of anemia in pregnancy can be prevented as one of the causes of the occurrence of babies born with LBW. Abstract

Untuk mengetahui Pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan remaja tentang dismenorea di SMA Assanadiyah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan rancangan pretest-posttest design. Rata-rata pengetahuan remaja sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang kesehatan reproduksi di SMA Assanadiyah kurang baik dengan 6,19. Rata-rata pengetahuan remaja setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang kesehatan reproduksi di SMA Assanadiyah baik yaitu 7,59.Ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan remaja tentang dismenorea di SMA Assanadiyah dengan nilai p = 0,000.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Menarche salah satu tanda bahwa remaja tersebut telah mengalami perubahan didalam dirinya dan juga dengan berbagai masalah dan perubahan-perubahan baik fisik, biologi, psikologi maupun sosial yang harus dihadapi oleh remaja karena merupakan masa yang sangat penting karena merupakan masa peralihan kemasa dewasa. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan tentang menarche pada siswi Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin tahun 2016. Metode: menggunakan Quasi Eksperimental dengan nonequivalen control group design. Populasinya adalah siswi kelas 5 dan 6 Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Sekayu Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling. Hasil: menggunakan uji Wilcoxon pada kelompok intervensi didapatkan nilai significancy 0,000 (p value < 0,05) maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat pebedaan pengetahuan yang bermakna antara sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan. Simpulan: penelitian ini menunjukkan pendidikan kesehatan memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan tentang  menarche pada siswi Sekolah Dasar. Kata Kunci : Menarche, Pendidikan Kesehatan, Pengetahuan

Abstract

Early mobilization is a policy to as soon as possible guide the patient out of bed and guide her as soon as possible to walk. Postpartum infection is a morbidity and mortality for postpartum mothers, postpartum care is needed in the postpartum period because it is a critical period for mothers. It is estimated that 60% of maternal deaths due to pregnancy occur after delivery and 50% of postpartum deaths occur within the first 24 hours postpartum. The aim was to determine the relationship between knowledge and parity of normal postpartum mothers on early mobilization at the Abi Ummi DW Sarmadi Clinic in Palembang. Analytical survey research method with a cross sectional approach. The study population was all normal postpartum mothers who were treated at Abi Ummi DW Sarmadi Clinic Palembang. The research sample was taken purposively with a total of 26 respondents. The results of the Chi Square statistical test obtained P-Value = 0.005 <∂ (0.05), which means that there is a significant relationship between the knowledge of normal postpartum mothers and early mobilization at the Abi Ummi DW Sarmadi Clinic in Palembang in 2020. And the results of the Chi Square statistical test obtained P-Value = 0.049 <∂ (0.05) which means that there is a significant relationship between the parity of postpartum mothers and early mobilization at the Abi Ummi DW Sarmadi Clinic in Palembang.

Abstract

Early Breastfeeding Initiation is the process of a baby breastfeeding immediately after birth, where the baby is allowed to find its mother's nipples, early breastfeeding initiation will greatly help in the continuation of exclusive breastfeeding. This research is an analytical survey research with a cross sectional design, namely research conducted by observing simultaneously to find out the independent and dependent variables. The results of the chi square test showed a p-value of 0.005 <0.05, this indicates that there is a relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about IMD. The conclusion in this study is that most respondents have knowledge about EBI in the good category, namely as many as 20 respondents (62.5%), some respondents have attitudes about IMD in the positive category, namely 17 respondents (53.1%), and there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about IMD (p-value = 0.005).

Abstract

Tetanus neonatorum and maternal tetanus can increase maternal mortality and infant mortality rates. One of the prevention of tetanus is to immunize pregnant women with tetanus toxoid. Pregnant women who do not do TT immunization because they have several factors that affect the completeness of tetanus toxoid immunization, namely age, education, occupation, parity and maternal knowledge which can have an impact on increasing the incidence of neonatal tetanus. This study aims to describe the factors that influence the completeness of tetenuas toxoid immunization in third trimester pregnant women. This research method is descriptive quantitative using cross sectional. The population in this study were all third trimester pregnant women in Poskesdes Desa Bumi Serdang, Tungkal Ilir Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency in 2021. The sample consisted of 11 respondents using nonprobability sampling technique, namely the total population. The results showed that the factors that influenced the completeness of tetanus toxoid immunization for pregnant women were age and knowledge of the mother. Of the 11 respondents, most of the mothers had mature age, namely 9 people (81.8%) and most of them had high knowledge, namely 8 people (72.7%). The more pregnant women have a mature age and have high knowledge, it will affect their behavior and attitudes in choosing and making the right choices in health services.

Abstract

Child development is all changes that occur in children seen from various aspects, including physical (motor), language, psychosocial, socialization, moral, and belief aspects. Gross motor skills are body movements using large muscles or all limbs influenced by the child's own maturity. While fine motor is a movement that only involves certain body parts and is carried out by small muscles.This research is a quantitative study using a cross sectional approach where the independent and dependent variables are collected at the same time. The research population is all mothers who have children aged 3-5 years who attend RA. Amanah Al Fatonah, Mengulak Village, OKU Timur Regency in 2021, as many as 27 people. The sampling technique was Total Sampling technique so that the number of samples in this study was 27 respondents.The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and motor development of children aged 3-5 years with p value = 0.04, and there was a relationship between education and motor development of children aged 3-5 years with a p value of 0.004.Mother's knowledge and education play an important role to help optimal child development. With knowledge, mothers will obtain information, including how to properly care for children, maintain child health, and stimulate child development.

Abstract

Early Breastfeeding Initiation is one of the government programs in the health sector in an effort to reduce infant mortality (IMR) by giving exclusive breastfeeding to newborns up to six months of age, through the application of IMD during childbirth, namely prohibiting placing the baby on the mother's chest so that the baby can looking for his own mother put. WHO recommends IMD, which is an act of laying the baby on the mother's chest immediately after birth with the skin to skin method, the baby's head is placed between the mother's two breasts then letting the baby use it alone to find the mother's nipple. The purpose of knowing the relationship of knowledge and family support to the implementation of early breastfeeding initiation in postpartum mothers. This type of analytic survey research with a cross sectional approach with accidental sampling method. The research sample is 16 respondents. The research results obtained from 16 respondents, there were 10 respondents (62.5%) who carried out IMD and 4 respondents (37.5%) did not carry out IMD. There were 11 respondents (68.8%) who had good knowledge and 5 respondents (31.2%) who had less knowledge. There were 9 respondents (56.2%) who received family support and 7 respondents (343.8%) did not receive family support. The results of the chi-square statistical test found that there was a relationship between knowledge of the implementation of IMD with a p value = 0.036 < ∂ : 0.05 and there was no relationship between family support and the implementation of IMD with a p value = 0.035 > ∂ : 0.05. It is hoped that counseling can be carried out regarding the implementation of IMD directly to mothers since pregnancy so that mothers understand the importance of carrying out IMD immediately after delivery. Abstract

Anemia in pregnancy is a condition where the hemoglobin level in the blood is below normal, namely the hemoglobin level <11 g/dl. Anemia in pregnancy can cause fatigue, weakness, decreased appetite, frequent dizzy vision, dizziness and pale lips, this is caused by a lack of nutrients for blood formation, such as iron deficiency, folic acid and vitamin B12. Anemia that often occurs in pregnant women is anemia due to iron (Fe) deficiency. Anemia is one of several factors that cause maternal death. In pregnant women, anemia increases the frequency of complications in pregnancy, childbirth, the risk of maternal death, prematurity, low birth weight, and perinatal death. Anemia can also cause antepartum and post partum bleeding. Counseling about anemia in pregnant women is an effort to increase the knowledge of pregnant women to meet nutritional needs so as to avoid anemia in pregnancy. The purpose of community service activities is to provide knowledge about anemia and how to prevent anemia in pregnancy. Counseling methods with lectures and questions and answers to pregnant women. Conclusion pregnant women understand how to prevent anemia in pregnancy. It is suggested to health workers, especially the Dr. Sunedi clinic, to provide more frequent health education about anemia to pregnant women in early pregnancy and to check hemoglobin levels so that symptoms of anemia are detected immediately and can be prevented.
